Men Born To Pervert The 7th
Seal/Seven Thunders
CHAPTER 3
Jude 1: 1-4 <Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. >
Jude is bringing out that there were men born unto condemnation. These are men who God fore-knew from the foundation of the world, who would not sacrifice self, who would not sacrifice pride, ambition and lust. Yes! He also foresaw that they came face to face with the gospel of peace, and sat and heard it, and many of them were identified with it, and many had the privilege of using gifts and sharing in the ministry, as in the case of Judas. He reached so high that he took the Messiah’s money bag. He was the treasurer in the church, and his ministry that was given to him was a very great ministry. And the ministry was not of the devil. The ministry was of the Lord. Jesus called the man and had a certain gift ordained for him, and it was a very great gift. And then the man turned out to be the betrayer. The man was born unto condemnation. The man came from hell and went back to hell, but nothing was wrong with the gift. His gift was so genuine from God that the apostles gathered before the day of Pentecost and they said, let his bishopric, or office, be given to another. And they cast lots and they tried to pass it on to Matthias, but we never heard anything about Matthias. God had it reserved for another man. So if you want to see what Judas forfeited for money, then look at the ministry of Paul the apostle.
Paul the apostle received that gift, that office of Judas. Isn’t that marvelous? Isn’t that something great to throw away for thirty pieces of silver? What a man. What a creature, to sell-out such a blessing and such a gift. And the gift, the calling of Brother Paul was one the mightiest in the scriptures and amongst the apostles. The only man that surpassed Brother Paul was the man called William Branham. He was greater than all the other church age messengers and all the prophets, outside of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So people are actually born unto condemnation. And if that is true, there are people born to live forever, and we are some of those people, and we are thankful to God. So let me bring this under the title of “Men born to pervert the 7th seal/seven thunders.”
Now, what I am saying beloved, is a horrible thing, and thank God that does not apply to us, because we are striving to crucify self. The only way that a man could be born to pervert the 7th seal/seven thunders and born unto condemnation, is that he must refuse the truth and he must, after hearing enough of the Word of God, decide not to crucify self.
Now, it always amazes me how Judas could have heard and seen all that he did and still harden his heart not to really repent, but to even get in his mind that he could sell-out and betray the Messiah Himself. Now, a person has to be very wicked. You mean to say, you saw a man stood up at the grave of Lazarus, who was rotten, dead and stinking with maggots, and you saw that man with your own eyes and heard Him say, “Lazarus, come forth”, and he that was dead came forth bounded hand and foot in grave clothes, and you could come up against that? You have to really love yourself. You don’t love life. You have to be a terrible person to do something like that. And brethren, that is not farfetched. Right under the prophet’s message, people stood just a few feet away and saw the dead raised, and turned against this message. Not only that, but those who were even raised from the dead, after they were raised started criticizing Brother Branham and criticizing the message. I think that people are braver than us. Yes, much braver than us.
FAIL TO SURRENDER
So all that I am saying brethren is that we will come to grips to look down into our own hearts and make sure that we are not like any of those characters. Yes! Make sure that we are not in that category at no time, because anytime that you do not sacrifice self, then you would manifest that one day. So anytime that a man would not sacrifice that selfishness, he is an open target for the enemy, a demon could possess him; a demon could anoint him to do the wrong thing. I am not only speaking about false prophets, in that respect. Now, don’t be led astray; I am not only talking about false prophets and delusions, in that respect. I am talking generally about a man failing to sacrifice self, he would not be born again, he cannot receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and he cannot go in the rapture. Remember that too. So this is not just dealing with false prophets, it is dealing with you; showing you that if you do not sacrifice self, put down your ambitions, put down your pride, put down your lust, and I will sum it up in one phrase: “surrender your will unto almighty God”, then you are a target and you have the bedding ground for the devil to work through you in any work of the flesh. You sit in the House of God and you don’t make that sacrifice, you could become a fornicator, an adulterer, you could become a violent man, as well as you could become a false prophet. Yes, that is the truth.
So what I am trying to bring out here is that after these demons were loosed, they wanted bodies to work through, and I must remind you that those demons were loosed around the time of the opening of the seals, and it brought about great changes in the world, changes that made history. Yes! Changes that rocked the nations and changed the lives of people, internationally. The prophet of God was alive during that time, and he said that these people could not have been born in any other time than in this age. He was speaking of Presley and Ricky. Now, Brother Branham knew some of these things that we don’t know. He said that Elvis Presley was a modern Judas. He knew very well, these creatures.
AGE OF FREE LOVE - SODOM AND GOMORRAH
So now, it changed the entire world and the course of history, and it was also the age of free love. The years of the opening of the seals were the age of free love. Yes. And you see what the age of free love has produced today. Brother Branham never saw the things that we are seeing, but he saw it in a vision. He said women will be practically naked except for a little fig leaf apron, and it is getting down there right now. So now, it’s the age of free love.
Do you know what that produced too? During that time it produced the days of Noah, and it also produced the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, because the seals being opened, it was the time for the son of man to be revealed, so it produced the days of Noah and the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. So it changed the course of history, it changed the lives of the people, and you see the mess that the world is in.
So as I told you, there were demons of insanity loosed. The people are swallowed up by these demons, and this is insanity. The demons being loosed are one thing, but then they must have vessels to use. The first set of vessels they used were the Dictators who destroyed the Jews. Now, but that did not stop it there. The prophet said twenty years after that they were loosed in the spiritual realm. Now, if they are loosed in the spiritual realm, we have that right in the churches of the world.
Because of these demons pressing the people of the world today, they have gone to dope, because they are unhappy, they are troubled.
Now, these spirits were loosed around the time of the opening of the seals. Remember what I am saying to all in India and in Africa and to every ambitious person around the world; these devils are looking for ambitious people, selfish people, proud people, people who don’t want to really humble themselves, and then these demons, as long as they find those kinds of qualities in any human being, it is a resting place for those demons. And when they get down into them, they use such vessels. Those spirits that are upon the earth today cannot move until they come into human vessels, just like the devil had to go into the serpent, just like those devils had to go into Hitler and Mussolini for the persecution of the Jews. So they want these tabernacles to enter and they have found a lot.
So now, these tabernacles that they were supposed to find in this end time were also predestinated and born unto condemnation. So this is what you call false christs and false prophets, and Jesus prophesied about these people being here in the end time. Just as certain as these demons were to be loosed, these men and women were supposed to be here in the end time: false christs and false prophets.
Those demons are the ones are anointing these false christs and false prophets, and they have a job to do and that is what I want to look into tonight, and confirm this title to you: “Born to pervert the seventh seal/seven thunders.” Yes, not only the world. No sir! These men were born unto condemnation to pervert the seals, and there is a reason for perverting the seals.
Quote W.M.B.: 183-4 {45} Did you know there will be false christs arise in the last day? It should follow immediately after this great message that this brother will speak, that will actually come, be anointed in the spirit of Elijah, immediately. (The Second Seal 63-0319).
The prophet of God said that these false anointed ones will appear, and it would be after the seals. Why would they appear after the seals? Now, tie that with the loosing of these two hundred million demons. At the same time that these false prophets were to be upon the earth is the same time these demons were loosed in the ecclesiastical realm or religious realm.
Quote: 45 ...I seen that vision come up, and there was a great earth, and it'd been all disced up. And there went a Sower forth first... And as this Man with white on came forth around the earth sowing seed... Then behind Him come a man, dark clothes on, looked very sneaking, slipping along behind Him sowing weeds. And as this taken place... Then I seen both crops come up. And as they come up, one was wheat and the other was weeds. And there come a drought, ...both of them had their heads down just crying for rain. Then there come a great cloud over the earth, and it rained. And the wheat raised up and said, "Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord." And the weeds raised up and hollered, "Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord." Same results...
Notice. The same anointing water brings forth the wheat, brings forth the weed. The same Holy Spirit that anoints the church, that gives them desire to save souls, that gives them power to perform miracles, It falls on the unjust the same as the just: the very same Spirit. Now, you can't make it another way and understand Matthew 24:24. He said, "There shall rise false christs," false anointed ones, anointed with the genuine thing, but be false prophets of it, false teachers of it. What would make a man want to be a false teacher of something that's Truth? (Anointed Ones At The End Time 65-0725M).
MEN BORN UNTO CONDEMNATION AS FALSE ANOINTED ONES
The prophet declared that these false prophets, false christs, false anointed ones that were to arise would be false teachers of the truth. Notice that the false anointed ones sowed upon the same grounds on which the prophet sowed. They were sowing seeds of discrepancy, which is perverting the Word and message of the prophet. God’s Word, in every age, comes to the messenger of the age.

There were men born unto condemnation as false anointed ones. They could not be born in no other age. There are some men ordained to condemnation and some that are ordained to eternal life.

"As Jambres and Jannes withstood Moses, so will they, men of reprobate mind, concerning the truth, who was foreordained of old to this condemnation," says the Bible. They could not believe. And they will not believe. The Bible said that in this day that we're living now, that men from old was ordained to be condemned, who turned the grace of our God into lasciviousness. Do you see what I mean? Jude 4th chapter, or 4th verse. Read and see if that isn't so.. How can they believe when the Bible has done said they can't believe?" (God keeps His Word 57-0115).
THERE'S PEOPLE THAT WAS BORN TO NEVER SEE IT
Quote: E-68 "We realize that there's people that was born to never see it. We know that. God wasn't willing for them to do it, but the Bible said that they were foreordained to this condemnation. How many knows the Bible says that? Just the same as you was foreordained to Eternal Life." (Jehovah Jireh 57-0810).
BORN TO PERVERT THE SEVENTH SEAL/SEVEN THUNDERS
There were vessels designed, and specially framed, to be born in a certain time, in a certain age to work out the plan of God. There were certain men ordained to be false anointed ones in the end time. Judas was foreordained to be Judas. Jesus said that he came from hell and went back to hell. But don't forget that all that is based upon the foreknowledge of God. God, who knows the end from the beginning, He knows exactly what is in the heart of man. And there are certain men whom he foreknew from the foundation of the world as vessels of dishonour to perfect his plan. They were born an Oral Roberts, a Billy Graham and great names in the world; a Tommy Hicks an A.A. Allan, born a pope or a Cardinal. Great men of the earth, and they are working right in the plan of the almighty.
There are certain men who were born around the time of the opening of the seals, or before that, in the time of the messenger, for a certain purpose.
When Moses was born down in Egypt, there was a Janness and Jambres also born, and they had a certain work to do while Moses had his work to do. At the same time there was another Pharoah who ascended the throne, and the Lord said, “For this cause have I raised thee up, that I might shew forth my glory upon thee.” He was born a stubborn man, he was born an unrepentant fellow because he was selfwilled, stubborn like a mule. Don’t matter what he saw God do, he had an explanation for it, and he decided to keep those people in bondage.
About the time that Jesus was born, there was a Judas crying in a crib. God ordained those two women to be pregnant around the same time. And on the other hand he had another fellow called John the Baptist, born six months apart from Jesus, and they were all going to play out a certain part.
As certain as William Branham was foreordained of God and prophesied in Malachi 4: 5-6 to be born upon the earth in the age of the opening of the seals, there were also false anointed ones foreordained like Judas, to be upon the earth at this special time.
The opening of the seals was that great supper of the Lord. In that great supper of the Lord, the false anointed one typifies Judas sitting at the supper table. Now, just as certain as the apostles and the disciples were sitting and enjoying the supper with the Lord, and there was a Judas in the midst, at the opening of the seals, there were also Judases, false anointed ones, sitting right in the tabernacle, who came from different states, and there are others who were born for that certain purpose, sitting around the world, to receive the message of Brother Branham and the preaching of the seals. They were foreordained to pervert the revelation of the seals.
RELIGIOUS TEACHERS FOREORDAINED TO CONDEMNATION
Quote:E-27 Some men was foreordained to that condemnation. The Bible said so--can't be saved, blinded from the beginning, born to be blind. We'll get that this next week. That didn't go very good, but I will prove to you by the Scriptures; it's the truth. And they'll absolutely be religious teachers, fundamental as they can be. That's exactly right." (Pillar of fire 53-0509).
To crown that off to you, Jesus saw them two thousand years ago. The apostles asked Him, "What is the sign of your coming?" He said, "Beware of false Prophets, for many shall come in my name saying that I am Christ." Jesus showed that when He gets ready to come in the end time, there will be men specially born as false prophets. We could not have these false christs and false prophets before the opening of the seals, in its right scriptural fulfilment. They had to wait for the opening of the seals, which has to do with the coming of the Lord, in order to impersonate that coming. You see, they wanted certain nuggets and they wanted certain clues, in order to be deceptive. So now, they waited until that time and until they got these clues. The best clues to impersonate the coming of the Lord and different doctrines and so on, is the opening of the seals. The 7th seal/7 thunders became a stronghold for such men, since it was not revealed by Brother Branham in 1963. They freely injected their heresies into the seals.
7 THUNDERS - GROUNDS FOR DEVIL’S DECEPTION
Let me be sure that everybody understands that. Now, these devils could not appear until that certain time of the seals, and the reason for that is that these false anointed ones waited and could not go into action until they catch certain things from the seals book. And since the seventh seal/seven thunders was left unopened, without enough knowledge, and the prophet went home, it became a perfect ground for these devils to work, to inject their interpretations right into the seventh seal and the seven thunders, even because it was left unopened. God purposely left it unopened in order to make manifest these false prophets. On the other hand it was being opened in secret somewhere else, and it was getting a certain people ready that when false prophets manifest themselves the Lord will break the seventh seal and seven thunders in public and expose all of them. The only thing to expose these false prophets and false christs, and expose the two hundred million demons on the earth right today, is the true revelation of the opening of the seventh seal, and it is coming into public very soon. It is coming in public as promised.
But the Lord allowed them all this time to manifest all their interpretations, all their heresies, all their wicked devices, all their demon power, all their lack of God’s power. All the time they had been working since the prophet of God went his way. They injected interpretations on the seventh seal and seven thunders. Yes! Right on that spot. But on the other hand, the seventh seal was being opened in secret somewhere in New England, because the angel who held the seventh seal flew eastward, and that angel was at the head of the pyramid holding the revelation of the seventh seal. According to the dream, there was a great, big rock in the east; eastern United States. There was a great, big rock, and there was a chain linked fence running straight down to the tabernacle where the message of God was preached by William Branham. Showing you that the Word of the Lord, that was line upon line, precept upon precept, was hooked up to a great big rock in the east. I certainly believe that rock is the rock revelation of Jesus Christ, and “upon this rock shall I build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Well, it has to be somewhere, and it may as well be here. Yes, it has to be somewhere. And the chain linked fence was running from the west to the east. Yes!
So what I am trying to bring to your mind today, is that all the seven thunders heresies and all the seventh seal heresies that went worldwide, never happened by chance. No! It was those demons that were loosed from the Euphrates River to possess all these false christs and false prophets. They had more than forty years to go out and manifest themselves. But soon there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and soon there will break a revival in New England that will go out and expose all those heresies around the world, and even now they are getting a taste of that exposition by E.O.D.H. Oh yes! The hour is upon us.
Quote W.M.B.: E-3 Then Wednesday night we expect to have a great climax in the service, and praying that sometime along this way, that something will happen to the people that'll set their hearts afire for God, that an old fashioned revival will break out in New England. It's tried on the west coast; it's tried in the middle east, tried in the south, but seemingly that this is our last place to try: New England. Here's where our forefathers landed for this freedom of religion on Plymouth Rock. It is from these sacred soils here that praying men and women went forth to establish this great spiritual economy that we are privileged to serve today. No American could be ashamed of their forefathers who landed in this country, went to church packing guns, who came here for freedom of religion, went on horseback, covered in old wagons, fought the Indians and so forth, to get to go to church. Those bloods bathed this soil. If we'll be sincere and believe in the God that they believed in and serve Him with the same reverence that they served Him with, we'll see a revival again. And I believe it will start in New England. God's willing to do it if we're willing to carry it. (Tested Faith Produces Goods 58-0518).
So there were men born unto condemnation to pervert the seventh seal/seven thunders, and we know them by name. And they have filled U.S.A, Africa, India and have filled the rest of the world with their cultish teachings and their heresies. But if you notice, for a little while now, you don’t hear about them very much. Everything is dying down and all the emotionalism has burnt out. It is about time that the Lord bring the seven thunders from its secret place, and send it across the world and expose all these false prophets. He is going to drive them off the trail just like Brother Branham said, “You are not ordained to ride this trail. Get off this trail!” He will do it by another apostolic church by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Yes! I believe that. It would not be a one man invasion.
IF SATAN SHOULD GET A HOLD OF IT, HE MIGHT DO GREAT DAMAGE. SATAN WILL TRY TO IMPERSONATE
Quote: "This is why there was no activity in heaven; it might give away the secret… If Satan should get a hold of it, he might do great damage. There's one thing he don't know. Now, he can interpret anything he wants to, and impersonate any kind of a gift, but he can't know this. It's not even written in the Word. It's a total secret… Remember, Satan will try to impersonate…There'll be no mimics to this (See?), 'cause he don't know it. There's no way for him to know it. It's the third pull. He just knows nothing about it. See? He doesn't understand it…)…but there's a secret lays beneath that… Now I know the next step there, but I don't know how to interpret that…I've got wrote down here when it happened,… "STOP! Go no further than this right here." …you remember, the little shoe that I always tried to explain… which it only made a big bunch of impersonations start after it…And now, if this tape would happen to fall into the hands of some persons somewhere, don't try to make any kind of an "ism" out of it. (The seventh seal 24/3/63).
FALSE ANOINTED ONE WAITED FOR 7TH SEAL CLUES
So now, these devils were waiting right there. The prophet knew that false anointed ones were waiting right in the tabernacle, gathered from around the country and around the world, waiting to catch certain secrets from the opening of the seals, so he kept that seventh seal secret. What he knew, he let out a little bit of it. They were silent for ten years. They did not get the clue of what was happening, but the seventh seal was the coming of the Lord.
Now, let me show you that impersonation. Since the seventh seal is the coming of the Lord, and ten years after they caught on to that little clue. We have men rising up and saying that they are the coming of the Lord. Mr. Santiago said he is “the covenant angel and he is the coming of the Lord.” Do you see why? These spirits are trying to impersonate the coming of the Lord. That is why some of them claim to be Michael, some claim to be Gabriel. Like one question I had to answer recently, where a preacher claimed to be Gabriel. Well, I only answered that generally and I said, “If he is Gabriel, then he is really out of place. It is a ministry of the past because Gabriel foreran the coming of the Lord and he was with Brother Branham. So he is living in the past. Yes, you missed the boat a long time ago. Gabriel introduced the coming of the Lord but Michael is the coming of the Lord. Yes, so you are short of a length. So you better give up that ministry of Gabriel and start following Michael. And don’t pretend that you are Michael at all. You will get the sharp edge of the sword. You should leave that kind of nonsense and foolishness for people who sat here in New England for all those years and heard all those revelations, who sat in the presence of God. You should leave it for these men here to rise up and claim that they are something. But none of them is rising up and saying that they are anything at all. Down to our pastor here at G.C.C. He said that he is just trying to keep the flock, and the other ministers here don’t claim to be anything.
Shame on you, who have now heard a little bit of this revelation and pretend that you are Gabriel and you are Michael, and you are Christ, and you are God manifested in human flesh. You are anointed of the devil! Yes! Men have humbled themselves since 1967, following the Word of God, and have not assumed any such nonsense! So now, these devils have gone out with a great impersonation of the seventh seal and the seven thunders, and this is for a great reason.
Now, Satan is afraid of the opening of the seals. That is why he is working this strategy. So now, he focused the most powerful demons around the opening of the seals. Notice that most heresies are built around the seals, and moreso the seventh seal/seven thunders.
THE ARMIES OF ANGELS
Satan is afraid of the opening of the seals because he knows that it exposed him and will bring the coming of the Lord and the rapture. He is worried about the opening of the seals, because the seals have the weapon to destroy him. It will open the people's eyes and show the people the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes. So he's worried about that.
The Lord's greatest enemies; the greatest false prophets; the greatest so-called christs that you could ever find is around the opening of the seals. Anybody who is perverting the seals' message is the worst antichrist on earth, and they have the most powerful demons on them. Yes! Head-demons from the Euphrates are working with them to pervert the revelation of the seals, in order to stop the Bride from going in the rapture. Don't you know that if the devil can pervert the seals and change the revelation of the seals, he can keep the Bride earthbound?
So now, these men that were born upon the face of the earth, in this age, they have a certain work to do. Their work is to pervert the message of Brother Branham, to pervert the opening of the seals itself, and to badly damage the seventh seal before it is even revealed; to make interpretations around the world concerning the seventh seal, because that seventh seal holds the coming of the Lord.
These men were ordained to start preaching a revelation about the coming of the Lord, but a wrong revelation, and have the people following them in the deserts, and the secret places, and following some man as an eighth messenger to deceive the people before the seventh seal is broken to the public. Heresies and misinterpretations were brought up by these false anointed ones born for that purpose to try to deceive the Bride in the end time.
Brother Branham's revelation is that demons were bound up in the Euphrates River and were loosed. They have four leading angels that are going to lead an army of fallen angels; these angels are typified as horsemen. They are not heavenly angels. They are angels of destruction.
Now, the army of angels that were loosed at the seals had a captain. Their captain is Lucifer. So now, these demons are fallen angels that followed Lucifer at the time that he was cast out of heaven. So now, if the Lord doesn't bind these demons at certain times, they would completely destroy mankind from the face of the earth. So now, whenever He has to bring punishment upon mankind for the rejection of the Word of God, the Lord looses them, and they go and bring judgment upon mankind.
Brother Branham said that these demons were loosed in the political realm, against Israel, and they came upon Hitler, Mussolini and all those dictators. If you want to know the kind of tribulation that is coming, look back and see when these same spirits were loosed in the political realm, how they persecuted natural Israel. You'll get an idea about the tribulation.
These demons are demons to torment men who miss the rapture. These same demons that we are talking about now, will manifest themselves in persecution to the foolish virgins. They are tormenters. The prophet called them “tormenters; demon tormenters.” The same way they got into the dictators over there and persecuted the Jews, brethren, it is going to be worse with the foolish virgins. It is a terrible thing that is coming Let us get out of here.
So now, these demons got upon all those dictators. They were not born here by chance. The Lord said of Pharaoh:
"And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth." (Exodus 9:16).
The Lord raises up certain men, certain dictators. There is an appointed time for them to sit upon the throne. They work in the plan of the almighty. These men were born by the will of the almighty. They came from hell and they went back to hell, just like Judas.
Now, in order for these people to become so godless, wicked and shameless, they must be anointed. Those demons that were bound in the Euphrates River were loosed in the spiritual realm, to anoint those preachers, evangelists and the people who rejected Brother Branham's message. Those spirits are upon the people now.
What we are up against in so-called Pentecost and the peoples of the world, are these fallen angels that were loosed from the Euphrates River. That is what the people who follow the message are up against. They play with visions, play with dreams, play with sensations, play with prophecies, and they play with all these things; and from the time you do that, and you misinterpret the Word of God, those demons jump right down inside of you; they are powerful demons. I have never seen a man who claimed to be Christ, God or the Son of Man, ever delivered from those spirits. I'm afraid of those spirits. I don't go near them. I don't tolerate them. I don't accept their thoughts and ideas. They are antichrist spirits.
BEDDING GROUND FOR DEMON-POSSESSION
Let us humble our hearts children. From the time we start thinking that we are somebody great and some this and that, friends, that's the bedding ground for those spirits. Oh, I hope you understand what I am saying, friends, that when the message was rejected, those demons were loosed in the spiritual realm. When they were loosed in the spiritual realm, upon organizations, those same spirits came here to combat the opening of the seals; to pervert the opening of the seals. If they could succeed in perverting the opening of the seals, they could keep the Bride earthbound. But the Bride is predestinated to have the victory. Now, that is the strategy of the enemy.
REDEMPTION - SATAN MEDDLES WITH THUNDERS
Now friends, the strategy of the enemy; why he has all these demons and false prophets meddling with the seventh seal and seven thunders, he knows that the secret of redemption, the secret of the rapture, the secret of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit are in the seals. Now, if he could meddle with that and pervert the revelation of the seals, then he could keep the Bride earthbound, because what is going to give the Bride translation power is the seven thunders and the seventh seal. Oh my, do you see his strategy? His strategy is a very smart one. There is no way for you to be translated and go in the rapture outside of you receiving the true revelation of the seven thunders when it breaks forth to the public. Satan knows that more than many. So now, he focused all his great demons to come and pervert the Word of God and give the people a false revelation of the seven thunders. Now, if he could make the people swallow a false revelation of the thunders and sit down and wait for the rapture, then the rapture will never come for them. Now, if the rapture never comes for the people, then Satan would not go down to the bottomless pit, because he only goes to the bottomless pit after the rapture. He is a smart creature and he is positive that he will prevail. He is positive that he will get through with that great plan.
Now, he is a stupid fellow, on the other hand. Yes! Because one time he got into a delusion in heaven, and he was positive that he could have overthrown Michael, and he was positive that he could have sit on the throne of almighty God and cause God to be cast down from heaven. I am saying that Lucifer is a stupid fellow. Yes! And that is the same stupidity that he is trying to do. Here he thinks that he could keep this Bride earthbound. But the Lord held the seventh seal secret and he never gave it out and he hid it somewhere in secret to later bring that out to the public. So God is smarter than this devil.
Around the time of the loosing of these demons of insanity, there were certain men, religious men, ungodly men, with a certain bedding ground, who were predestinated and foreordained to be upon the face of the earth, as vessels of dishonour, to house these demons of insanity, which would bring into fulfilment Matthew 24: 24; “False christs and false prophets.” Men who are like Ahab, who sold themselves to do spiritual wickedness. Religiously ambitious men, who desired to have the pre-eminence over the people of God. Jealous men, who could not bear to see a humble prophet of God and other humble servants of God used of God in a greater capacity than them. Men who were not satisfied with their positions in the Kingdom and economy of God, Jealous like Lucifer, over the position God gave Michael in heaven. Men who wanted to excel over the servants of God. And with such evil bedding ground, when those demons that were loosed passed by and offered them a ministry, they opened up their hearts and grabbed ahold of it with both hands, and those demons jumped into them and devil-possessed them. Since that time they got promotion from being evangelists, pastors, teachers and even lay members. Men started claiming to be prophets, like “Prophet Cerullo” and “Prophet Kenneth Hagan”; and apostles, (like Mr. Gan and Mr. Jackson) and son of man, Revelation 10: 1, the dove-led eagle, Michael the archangel and Christ – God veiled in human flesh; like Mr. Santiago from Puerto Rico, Like Mr. Lawrie of India, Like Mr. Massoc from Cameroon, Africa, like Mr. Vin Dayal of Trinidad, Mr. Teddy of Yugoslavia, and other popular heretics. Satan was not doing that without a reason. No, he had a plan and an evil purpose and intention.
All these "eighth messengers" around the world, all those preachers who preach that all is over, all those preachers who say that the Millennium started, and the Rapture started, all these people who pervert Brother Branham's Message, in whatever form, and have their own opinion and own idea, they are under the influence of fallen angels. Believe this little preacher, friends. I met many of them throughout the years, and they don't realize that is just not their thinking, but they opened up to certain spirits, and they anoint them, and they get literally demon possessed.
They had pillars of fire! They had a forty letter secret-word, that when they spoke it, they put brethren in pains and agony. Yes! And I had them right in my little prayer room on these grounds, and they tried to use that Hebrew word against me, and instead of harming me, they fell and started twisting around under that demon power. And I, not realizing what they were trying to do, said, "You have got the devil inside of you. Repent!” Friends, we are living in a terrible time.
Angels were released from the spiritual realm, and angels were also released from the demonic realm. Now, that is to form your armies. That is going to bring us to Revelation: 19. Both forces are working there together. So all these spirits here today, bringing up these heresies, are working in the religious realm. They are worried about the opening of the seals, because it exposed their plans and strategies. They are around this message. Now, the great, great, great, great powers of the devil; his generals are around the message today, since 1963, and they are out to further pervert the seals. Their mission was to pervert the seals, to try to hold the Bride here. If she could miss that revelation, or be given a perverted revelation, then she cannot go in the rapture. Any sincere hearted man will understand that all these heresies around the message, all these perversions, and all these misinterpretations of Brother Branham's message are these millions of horsemen, now riding in the message, of the hour. They have changed every single doctrine of the prophet. And you read Romans 1 and see why those spirits were loosed. God is a just and unchanging God, and that happened because they rejected William Branham.
SATAN’S MASTER PLAN TO ESCAPE LAKE OF FIRE
Satan had a master plan (as in Eden with first Eve, and as in the early church with second Eve) to try to stop this end time redemption. If Satan could succeed in stopping the hand of God in redeeming His end time Bride, then he would not have to go to a lake of fire and be destroyed.
He would use these men; these false anointed ones, as false teachers, and send them under the message of the prophet, in order to pervert the plan of redemption, loosed by the seals. If he succeeds in his mischievous plan, he would be successful in stopping the resurrection and the rapture of the end time Bride.
Satan was going to apply his first principle of deception as he did in Eden and in the early church under the white horse rider. He was going to come in as a friend, a pretended believer of the message. He was going to transform himself again into an angel of the light or message of the age; not any simple light, but the greatest light that ever came to mankind in six thousand years, that was locked up in the seals book from before the foundation of the world. And when he convinces you that he is a message believer, he would subtly twist the message. If the devil could succeed in twisting, changing and perverting the true plan of redemption from the seals, get an ambitious preacher, a false anointed one, to propagate and preach that, and get you to believe it, he has you in his bag, and has succeeded in deceiving you, end time Eve. If Satan by his master plan could get the Bride to accept a counterfeit son of man, counterfeit prophet, counterfeit redeemer, and counterfeit seventh seal/seven thunders, he succeeds in deceiving the end time Eve and in turn stops her redemption.
ALL 7 THUNDERS TO PUBLIC IS OF THE DEVIL
I am saying that everything that went out with a revelation on the seven thunders and seventh seal before the time and before it goes into public, is of the devil. Ye sir! And it is proven that it is of the devil. It went around the world, it busted up and what did it produce? It produced fornication, it produced adultery, it produce backslidings. It started from New York and headed straight down to Africa, it circled the globe and came back. Now they are sitting on a manure pile tonight. They were to go in the rapture since 1973 and another group since 1977, all by their thunders revelation. But meanwhile that they claim the thunders there, the Lord had the thunders somewhere in secret. I believe that. You say, “Who has it?” Time will tell. You say, “Who had it? Where is it?” You are too inquisitive. It is a secret, and the Lord will bring that out in time. He will bring that out in time. Yes! If the Lord wanted to say that, He would have taken a microphone and broadcasted it through the world. But the prophet said, “This is all that I could say about this”, and he said, not me; he said that when it starts it will start in secret somewhere, and then it will be broken to the public. I believe that. I believe that it is in secret somewhere and it will be broken to the public.
SATAN’S MASTER PLAN - ATTACK 7TH SEAL
So now, these demons that were loosed, they are around the seals, they are around this message. People don’t know what is happening. This is Satan’s master plan. Satan’s master plan was to attack the unopened seventh seal. His master plan was to attack the seven thunders to give the people a revelation of the seven thunders that could not rapture them. Yes! And if the Bride never goes in the rapture, he will be a safe devil, his demons would not be cast into the bottomless pit with him, he could make up time for it. So he thinks that he would really succeed with that. And since the opening of the seals the Lord gave him about a generation of time and more to try to pervert something that he knows nothing about.
That is how those Seals relate to false christs in the end time; Matthew 24:24. The Opening of the Seals was to bring again Christ to the Bride. The seventh seal is where His coming is. In order to confuse the Bride of Christ, that they do not get a revelation of Christ, the Word, the son of man, Satan loosed false christs, by the tens of thousands; to cause the people to pick out the wrong ministry. Now we have climbed up to the heights of the revelation.
They were asking Jesus, "What shall be the sign of thy coming?" He said, "Take heed that no man deceive you..." That's one of the sign of His coming. "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." "Believe them not." And he said, "If they shall say behold He's in the secret chamber, don't go down there. If they say He's in the desert place, don't go there." He said, "I will tell you how I am coming. I am coming as lighting from the East and it will shine unto the West."
So these false anointed ones could not appear until the seals were opened. First of all, the seals had to be opened, and the very purpose of the seals was to introduce the coming of the Lord and to prepare the Bride for the opening of seventh seal and the coming of the Lord. So now, in that interval, these demons were loosed but were already since the days of Hitler, in the political realm. Now they are loose in the religious realm.
Now, Satan knows that event of the seals. He knows what took place. So immediately, when the Devil got to find out what happened at the opening of the seals, he came out there and got his servants, imposters and anointed them each one with a ministry that they are an eighth angel, and they are Christ. You never heard of so many "prophets." The amount of "prophets" that we now have upon the earth, you cannot count them. Before that, people never claimed to be prophets. They even denied Brother Branham being a prophet. And the scripture they used was that John the Baptist was the last prophet. But soon after that, notice what happened when the messenger turned his back. All those evangelists became "prophets," and they are not ashamed to say that they are apostles, they are prophets, and they are all Christ, son of man, and even God. Now, that is not natural brethren.
Those demons from the Euphrates River just came and possessed these preachers. Ninety-nine percent of the preachers in the world are demon-possessed, by fallen angels, since the opening of the seals. Yes! They were once anointed by the Spirit of God, and did many signs, many wonders and many miracles. But, what made these men so proud, what made them so wicked, what made them adulterers, fornicators and homosexuals behind the pulpit, are those same demons that were loosed from the Euphrates River, that have now possessed them.
Now friends, those same spirits from the organizational realm, have now visited the preachers in the message, and made them "eighth messengers," made them "prophets," made them adulterers, fornicators, liars and thieves.
THIS LAST DAY MINISTRY-THE SAME INVASION OF FALSE AND WICKED SPIRITS
Quote: 70-2 "In Luther's day it is said that the miracle of his ministry did not lie in the fact that he successfully protested the Roman Catholic Church, but the miracle lay in the fact he could, and did, stay sound and sane amidst the fanatics who were often filled with, and guided by, wrong spirits. And if you have been aware of this last day ministry, you will have noted the same invasion of false and wicked spirits. It has to be that way. I hope and trust you are spiritual minded enough to get that, and capitalize on it." (Church age Book).
IMPERSONATORS CAUGHT-ON TO MINISTRY AFTER W.M.B.
So you have false anointed ones rising up, and they gradually caught-on to what happened at the opening of the seals, that there is a heavenly Angel, and there is an earthly angel. Those are the same spirits from the Euphrates. Soon after they started talking about Revelation 10:1. They don't know anything about Revelation 10:1. They are a bunch of unbelievers and a bunch of impersonators that hate the true revelation of God. If they knew anything about Revelation 10:1, they would be seated here today, because we will be following one Captain.
So his servants caught-on to some clues, and these clues that they caught on to, they went about thinking that they had the seventh seal/seven thunders, and Satan thinks by this master plan that he will escape the fires of God. So he sent his servants-false anointed ones and false prophets to impersonate the message, to come in as ministers of the message, as believers of this message, right amongst the children of God who accepted Brother Branham and accepted the message, worldwide. We have men just like Jude said, who crept into the message. Men have crept in unawares, ordained unto condemnation. But these are not just men. These people are possessed by those devils that were loosed from the Euphrates River. Yes friends, when those men came into the message, worldwide, the poor people could not recognize who they were. No! They came in as ministers of the message. They came in as believers of the message, but these men were born unto condemnation. These men were born to pervert the seals, so they came in the name of the message. And another thing is that they came in the name of the seven thunders, and coming in the name of the seven thunders, it woke up the people, gave them something new, and gave them something that would tickle them. They came into the assemblies, and almost every assembly around the world today is saying something about the thunders. These demons moved right under the message, and after moving under the message, they tried to figure out that son of man revelation. In trying to figure out that son of man revelation, they made it "Parousia." And then a little while after, they came a little higher, and they made it “son of man.” They made it that Jesus, the physical man, is now on earth. So there are a lot of "Jesuses" around the world. They say, "Christ came, and this is Jesus." So they have a man right down here in Puerto Rico, he's Spanish speaking, so they claimed that's the unknown language of the 7 thunders, and they say that he is the incarnated Christ. That is William Soto Santiago. "He's the incarnated Christ. He is the covenant angel. He is Revelation 10:1. He is the second coming of the Lord." He arose after 1973. That revelation was so hid, that it took Satan ten years to get a drop from the great ocean of revelation.
They think that they have the revelation of the seven thunders. They have a revelation of the horsemen, a revelation of those two hundred million devils, have a revelation from the false prophets, have a revelation of false christs. That is what they have. Isn’t it terrible? Now, this is what the prophet saw behind ten-inch thick iron bars. But there is coming an hour of deliverance, because it would come by the seven thunders. The true seven thunders will come out of its secret place like David came out and brought forth that revelation to slay the Goliath.
So now, they got bright and they are moving closer to the son of man revelation, but that revelation is given by the Father. The heavenly Father must reveal it to you (Matthew 16). But they tried to figure it out with their heads and they made all kinds of antichrist doctrines, around the world. Don't forget that when a man goes out with a doctrine, he deceives his church, and if he is an evangelist he goes out and deceives tens of thousands of people. So right now, around Africa, around India, and around the world, we have all kinds of false christs. We came in contact with many false christs. Men are not ashamed to tell you that they are God incarnated in human flesh. I got a man and put him up right here. He claimed to be Michael the archangel. [Congregation says, "Amen!"] I said, okay, let's hear your doctrine. I sat right there and this man came up, demon possessed as could be, and gave all his doctrines of how he is Michael the archangel and everything like that, and then we exposed him.
Now, the best thing that could have happened to that poor fellow is that he backslid and went into the world. Now, if you backslide after you get that kind of thinking, it could help you, because you will go out and commit sin, become a marijuana smoker and adulterer, and the Lord might have mercy and convict you and let you know that you are a sinner and not God. But if you continue in the religious realm, you will go deeper and deeper and deeper. That is not the natural thinking of man. How on earth can I conceive that I am God? Why, I am the dust and the ashes of the earth. A man has to be proud; you talk about proud, you talk about intellectualism, you talk about satanic, you talk about a man thinking highly of himself. How on earth a man can ever think that? And they are not ashamed to tell you that.
It started as a doctrine that the Blood is off the mercy seat. Then it travelled down. It is moving closer to the true revelation, and it came down now to "parousia;" just the presence, no physical coming. And then now it comes to God incarnated in human flesh. All these messengers now claim that they are God incarnated in human flesh. A few miles from Bethel is the “Ephesians church”, they call it; a man claims to be Revelation 10:1; the Word made flesh. He holds the sheep under fear of judgement if they leave. A proud and arrogant spirit is on that preacher.
Now, why is it that they think that way and preach that way? They do not have a revelation of the son of man. The heavenly Father has not revealed to them what took place at the seals. So they have to use their heads. It will always mislead them. The wisdom of this world will always mislead you. This is what we have sitting around the message in every country and in most of the assemblies; the people of God are deceived by one of these false anointed ones in the message. That is why Brother Branham preached false anointed ones soon after he preached the seals. He knew what happened, and he said that these false anointed ones had to follow the opening of the seals.
OPENING OF SEALS - JANNES & JAMBRES APPEAR AGAIN TO IMPERSONATE IT
Quote: 262 "The Third Pull was the opening of them Seven Seals to reveal the hidden Truth that's been sealed in the Word. Do you see it? It is then, in that day when this thing is to take place that Jannes and Jambres, the impersonators, will appear again, just like they did when Moses appeared with the original Word to say it; they appear to impersonate it. Just exactly right. Now, you see what Matthew 24:24 is? See? Anointed ones." (Anointed Ones At End Time 65-0725m).
Do you see these demons that were also loosed around the time of the opening of the seals, which are insanity spirits? Two hundred million demons from the Euphrates River were loosed; and that was to bring insanity in the religious realm.
People came into the message, they heard the opening of the seals and these spirits started anointing them, if they were ambitious, if they had a superiority complex. If they came to that place where they always wanted to excel and be better than their neighbour and better than their brothers, such men have perfect grounds for those demons to come in. They will say, "I will show you that I will get brighter than the preacher that I sit under. I will show you that I could get brighter than the prophet that even brought that message." He wants to excel. Get away from that kind of ambition. If that is in you, that's a bedding ground for insanity! That's the bedding ground for demon possession. That is how people get insane; that is how people make doctrines; that is how people make interpretations; that is how they build assemblies, and that is how they deceive people by the thousands and by the millions! It starts from one man's pride, where he just reads the Bible and gets an idea in his head, and begins to think that he was born for a special purpose upon this earth, and then he passes it on to his wife, and passes it on to his children, passes it on to his neighbour, and he gets a little congregation of ten people following and then a hundred, then a thousand, then a half a million, and the people win so much confidence in him as a servant of God. Then one day, he comes and says, "Let us drink poison." That was Jim Jones, right in Guyana here. Over eight hundred people perished.
Now, that is how those insanity spirits work. It starts from a human being. These things are not natural; these are demons; that man actually believes he is sent of God; he hears a voice; he feels a certain power come over him; he sees a light. Something speaks to the man and says, "Go my servant and do such and such and such." Insanity spirits are loosed. You've got to be careful of every voice that speaks to you, every vision that you see, every dream that you dream, and every sensation, friend. That is why God gave you a shepherd. You don't know this way. Take these supernatural things and run to your shepherd with it. Find out if that is of God. Give it the Word test.
Just as certain as that ministry was loosed at the opening of the Seals with Angels, there was also fallen angels that came to the earth. And that is what we are finding today in the name of assemblies, and the message.
THUNDERS TO PUBLIC BY OUTPOURING
Satan’s master plan is that he uses these false anointed ones, but these false anointed ones are directly influenced by these two hundred million demons upon the earth, and their great ambition is to come and try to deceive the Bride and give her a false revelation of the seventh seal and seven thunders. And if she takes that and sit there as the people today, around the world, who are sitting with such heresies, sitting with such perversions, waiting for the rapture, she misses the rapture. But notice what that false revelation is doing to them. It is taking them down to Sodom. They are back before the television, look at everything on the internet, they are on the sports field, the women pulled up their dresses, they have tight mermaid dresses, pulled down their necklines to show their breasts, their preachers are falling in adultery everywhere by the thousands, even because they are dominated by unclean spirits.
Those spirits from the Euphrates River are actually spirits of Sodom and Gomorrah, spirits from the days of Noah. That is why it corrupted when they claimed to have the thunders. They fell into immorality, they fell into sin and the preachers fell in adultery. Yes! When you find the people of God and the true children of God, they will be living the Word and they will be honouring the holiness message of Brother Branham.
Anything that says that they have a revelation and is living in adultery and fornication and not keeping the Word of God, that is not the Spirit of God. No sir! That revelation will produce a better life. So that was Satan’s master plan, and his master plan would not work for the end time Bride. There will be the revelation of the genuine seven thunders, and it would be broken to the public. It will never be broken to the public until another outpouring of the Holy Spirit comes, because that seventh seal is the coming of the Lord. That will be the last ministry upon the face of the earth to prepare the Bride for the rapture.
I will now lay a foundation for some experiences that I am about to relate, that we the church at Bethel the House of God, have experienced. Living examples of men who came in contact with this message, who were religiously ambitious, and became possessed by these demons that were loosed from the Euphrates River.
In the following messages I will bring living examples of men who were used as false prophets and false christs, and how bold they speak and say who they are: “They are God manifested in human flesh, they are Michael, they are the psalmist David, son of man” and all kinds of claims. You would see some examples of what we have personally experienced at G.C.C., at Bethel and at other places, and now we are broadcasting these things, putting them together to warn the rest of the people who follow this message, warn the people who received these E.O.D.H. messages, the books and the tapes to humble their pride. Humble yourself, you are a nobody. You will end up like those who I am going to speak about. Amen.
BETHEL AND G.C.C. EXPERIENCES – FALSE PROPHETS
False prophets are one of the greatest curses to the world and its inhabitants. Their destructive powers can never be overestimated, as they are Satan’s instruments of his diabolical deceiving powers which damned generations of souls, entire nations and families unto hell and the lake of fire. They are heartless spiritual criminals and weapons of mass destruction in the hand of the devil.
“Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening (hungry) wolves”, warned our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Thus, all who love their souls and would escape the damnation of Hell and the Lake of Fire must be spiritually conscious and alert to the warnings of our Lord of such satanic motivated creatures in the form of men to arise in the last days, just before the coming of Christ.
The existence of false prophets, worldwide, is a major sign of the second coming of Christ. We, the last generation, are presently witnessing the undeniable and irrefutable fulfillment of Bible prophecies which foretold of these false prophets who have arisen in this age of dark spiritual bondage, and out of midnight blackness and darkness of demonic activities can be heard the whips of Pharaoh’s taskmasters at work upon the backs of God’s children who cry for their deliverance. There is a God who yet reigneth in the kingdom of men and He is touched by the afflictions, sorrows and cries of the children of Abraham. He has come down to deliver His people out of spiritual Egypt and religious bondage, whom false prophets have successfully enslaved.
God’s children should not be misled by using the satanic works of Jim Jones, David Koresh and others, as the standard of identification of all false prophets, for those men were Satan’s smokescreen for his many false prophets with greater diabolical, deceiving power to take cover.
LIVING EXAMPLE OF A FALSE PROPHET
The world is filled with false prophets; and I make no apology to call some names here, because of the subject that I am speaking on. We have renowned false prophets that have already deceived many, as the Lord said. Now, right now, the Pope is in the office of “false prophet”; he is not yet the beast, but he will become the beast. That pope who is to sit upon the throne just before the rapture takes place, to persecute the little Bride, will become the beast; that means the Devil incarnated in human flesh. And one of the major false prophets on the earth is the Pope.
And if you would notice him, we could get a wonderful example of the operation of a false prophet. Just study the words of that man, the appearance of that man, just everything about him. His personality, his flattering speeches, his innocent look, the detrimental doctrine that he carries, and the murderer that he is. When we say, “the pope”, we don’t necessarily speak of the human flesh that is seated there upon the Vatican’s throne; we speak of the Devil and the office of the Pope. We are speaking of all the popes that ever sat upon that throne. They were everyone murderers and adulterers and fornicators.
In public, this false prophet will give the appearance that he is an angel. A false prophet is loved by the world, and the world loves a false prophet who would take their money and damn their souls to Hell; but hates God’s prophet.
So now, I have already explained to you, in a few words, what a false prophet is, because we have a living example of what a false prophet is. Study the life of that pope, the way that he is accepted, the influence that he has upon the nations, his flattering speeches, his very personality and everything about that pope. A friend of the kings and governors.
Jesus made mention of that. He said, those false prophets are in kings’ houses. And those things in themselves, give us a general idea of the operation of a false prophet; that is how he appears to the world. To the people of God, the way that a false prophet is recognized is by him contradicting the Word of God, taking the place of God, and claiming an office that he does not hold. The Pope claims to be infallible. He claims to be seated in the seat of Christ, and right now reigning in the millennium.
RECOGNIZED FALSE PROPHETS OF THE WORLD
Now, besides the Pope, there are many false prophets upon the face of the earth, and as I said; I make no apology; and whatever I’m going to say, I’m not afraid to meet it on the Day of Judgment, because the Word declares it.
Galatians 1:8 <… though we, or an angel come from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.>
And I’m not afraid to say, “Let the Pope be accursed, and let every man who contradicts the Bible, and preaches contrary to this Bible, let them be accursed.”
And, some of the major false prophets today are men like: Oral Roberts. He is a lying false prophet. “How do you know that preacher?” Because he heard Truth, and heard God’s prophet and refused to walk in that Light.
Any prophet that is sent of God will recognize the words of another prophet, and the message of another prophet, and walk in that Light. That is why forty writers wrote this Bible and they never contradicted each other, but accepted what was in the Word of God, because they had the same Spirit.
Billy Graham is a renowned false prophet. He has the second highest qualification after the pope in the Catholic doctrine. And many of the modern evangelists who sat and heard William Branham, and turned down that Word of God, because of popularity and money, have made themselves false prophets.
Herbert W. Armstrong and Garner Ted Armstrong are two of the world’s most famous false prophets who have deceived many people today, and the world loves them and gives them a hearing. There are many false prophets. Morris Cerullo; I declare him to be a false prophet, upon the basis of the Word of God and I make no apology. “Why preacher?” He condones women preaching; the scripture condemns that. And Brother Paul said, “If any man thinks himself to be a spiritual or a prophet, let him acknowledge the things that Iwrite unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” Cerullo does not acknowledge that Brother Paul spoke the commandments of the Lord and he allows women to preach. That is only one point. What about the hundreds of others? And the modern evangelists today have changed their offices from evangelists to prophets, and they are all false prophets; T. L. Osborne just the same. A. A. Allen died a false prophet and an alcoholic.
All these men heard the prophet of the Seventh Church Age and turned down Life. There was only one true prophet that God sent in the Seventh Church Age, and that was William Branham, anointed by the Spirit of Elijah. And the scripture says, “…when he begins to sound.” It was a man and it’s going to be one person. When Elijah “the prophet” came; Malachi 4: 5-6, he was one prophet; not many prophets.
Now, that Seventh Church Age is different from this Bride Age that we are living in. And in that Seventh Church Age, when that prophet of God came and broadcasted his message, every gift that came from heaven, that came in contact with that prophet’s message, and was ordained of God, would recognize that prophetic gift, and bow down to that prophetic gift and the message that God sent. And everything that was not of God, and was false was going to rally around for some time to make some money, and then come against it. Now, that declares them to be false prophets.
When a man would sit and hear Truth; like: Cerullo, Billy Graham, Gordon Lindsay, David Terrill, A. A. Allen, Oral Roberts, T. L. Osborne, Tommy Hicks and all the famous evangelists who sat and heard William Branham, and saw the miracles and signs, and then turned around and called Brother Branham a false prophet, and allowed a woman to preach, and believe in three gods; and became millionaires, and built Bible schools, and organizations, no man, not even a lay member should be afraid to declare them as false prophets. They are all false prophets. “Preacher, I don’t get you. How could you criticize like that?” Because the Word criticizes.
You say, “So, you want to tell me that only William Branham had the Truth in this Age, and nobody else had the Truth, though everybody is reading the same Bible?” You understood me just right. There was only one man who had the Truth today and he was William Branham. And there was only one man who had the Truth in the days of Noah and that was Noah; and the whole world was wrong, and the theologians were wrong, and every false prophet was wrong, and all the scientists were wrong and Noah alone was right. And the Bible said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the son of man, even thus shall it be in the day when the son of man is revealed.” One prophet back there and one prophet up here today in the Seventh Church Age. Everybody who failed to hear Noah drowned, and they went to Hell, waiting for the judgments of almighty God and their souls are in Hell today. Is that right? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] And everybody who rejects the Message of William Branham, and turns that down, and would go out and live in sin and belong to an organization, and condone false doctrines, and turn down that Word of God, will end up in Hell the same way. Oh yes! You could think of that as narrow-mindedness but it is the truth. And that’s the pattern it took through all the Ages coming down the road.
WHY FALSE PROPHETS
And whenever God has to send a prophet upon the face of the earth; those false prophets always arrive first, to try to assume that office of the true prophet, in order that people might be confused, and not know who is the true prophet of God.
So, when Brother Branham was in his ministry, all these false prophets started arising and saying that they are Elijah. Now, it gets so common about Elijah’s ministry and a prophetic ministry, that when you tell a man that God sent a prophet, he would say, “I am tired of hearing about prophets. I met a lot of them already and there is nothing to them.” The Devil caused the people not to find the true prophet of God by that strategy.
Is it not strange that soon after the days of such false Elijahs, that many people now claim to be the Christ? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] Maybe, there is a revelation concerning that then. Maybe, the son of man was about to be revealed then.
And Jesus said, “False Christs shall arise, and false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many.” And we heard a lot about prophets and prophets for about the past fifteen years; but now, everywhere you go, you could find a Jesus; everybody is “the Christ.”
And, there was a man in India who arose and claimed to be the Christ. And right now, there are probably about forty or fifty “Christs” in Jerusalem. “Why are there so many “Christs?” Why are there so many “Christs” in Jerusalem? Because the Messiah is about to make Himself known to the Jews. Before Jesus came history says that there were about thirty nine persons who arose and claimed to be the Messiah; that is in order to cause confusion in the people’s minds.
Yes sir, I went down to one of the islands and a young man was there with a shorts on; diving every morning; he had a long beard. So I saw my boys trying to convert him, and they were giving him the Gospel. I thought, I had better go across. So, I went across there and came to find out, lo and behold, that “Jesus” was living right on the hill for three days and I never knew it. So, he started talking, he said, “Listen to me, Jesus could be standing right here before you right now, and you don’t see Him. And Jesus was a black man.” I said, “That is true, I could be talking to Jesus right now and don’t know it, may the Lord help me to see Him.” And he started talking; opening up, he felt he was making a convert right away. Then I came to find out that he built his ministry upon a dream that he had. I said, “All dreams are not of God, some are of the Devil.” Oh, that closed the conversation. He said, “Right, right,” and he went up the hill. “Jesus” walked up the hill.
That is how things have become that you could find a Jesus and find a “Christ” almost in every village. Now, something is on. Anytime the Devil brings an impersonation concerning a certain truth, there is a right revelation around that thing. And the Lord said when the time comes back like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah; when you begin to see the long hair boys and the short hair girls, and you begin to see men acting like women, and you see these fornicators and adulterers upon the face of the earth, around that same time the son of man will be revealed.
“What is that son of man revealed?” It’s a divine revelation. You have to find out what that is. I want to tell you, it is later than we think. Jesus is going to appear in the heavens one of these days for the Rapture. And when that Trumpet is blown in the Bride of Christ, the dead shall rise, and we shall all be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. And that Lord that we are going to meet in the air is the body of Jesus, but I want to tell you that Revelation 10: 1 is now standing upon the face of the earth, and that’s the son of man being revealed today. [Congregation says, “Amen!”]
And because that ministry is going into effect today; all these false prophets have arisen, and all these false “Christs” are upon the earth, because, there is a true revelation concerning the son of man. Yes, it’s the truth. These false prophets must arise and these false “Christs” must arise. And that is to confuse the people’s minds, and get them so scared that when they hear about the son of man, it is common, and people begin to think, “Now that’s antichrist. I already heard it. I don’t want to hear that.” Now, but there is a revelation right there, and don’t matter how many false Christs the devil sends, don’t matter how many false prophets he sends, don’t matter how much he tries to confuse it; “…My sheep hear My voice, and a stranger they would not follow.” They cannot follow a strange prophet, and they cannot follow a strange Christ. The right Christ, and the right Messiah and the right prophet of God will have the voice of God today, and His voice is His Word. That is how you are going to know; you’re going to hear the voice of God.
And if you’re a sheep whenever you hear that voice of God, you won’t be afraid to follow that preacher. [Congregation says, “No!”] No, your business won’t be more important than the voice of God; your wife won’t be more important, your house won’t be more important, your lands won’t be more important, you organization brothers and sisters. The most important thing to you would be Eternal Life. That is if you’re a sheep of God. But if you are not a sheep of God, when you hear that voice of God, you would have a lot of things to put before that voice of God.
And that is what Oral Roberts, and Billy Graham and all the other preachers have done. They had more important businesses than receiving the Word of God and hearing the voice of God. And their businesses were to build a college, a hospital, become popular, go on television, and on the radio. Right now they are damned right behind their pulpits. Oh yes! Because they put their earthly possessions before almighty God, and the Lord never sent them to do that. Oral Roberts is a lost man, damned, and has blasphemed his way, preaching right behind the pulpit today, over the television and radio. There is no hope for Oral Roberts, or any of those false prophets who turned down William Branham, and made his ministry a matter of money-making and merchandise.
“Preacher, how could you judge like that?” Because of the Word; because I know where I am standing, and because I know what I am telling you is the truth. I am not just speaking presumptuously. I speak by revelation, I speak by the Word of God, and I speak because the Seals Book is opened today.
Yes sir, that is the place where those men are today, and I don’t believe that they were sent of God as the Father sent Jesus. They have no business out there trying to preach the Gospel: No David Terril! No Cerullo! No Oral Roberts! No Billy Graham! No T. L. Osborne! When a man could hear this Message and hang off on Cerullo, and hang off on David Terril, I want to tell you, something is wrong with that soul; something is definitely wrong with that soul! Yes sir! Oh yes!
ONE WAY TO ESCAPE THE DEVIL’S DECEPTION
You know another strange thing happened after the days of Brother Branham? There were many men who arose and claimed to be that man to follow Brother Branham. [Congregation says, “Yes!”] Do you know that was the work of the Devil? [Congregation says, “Yes!”] And David Terill is one of them, and I know many who arose and said that they are the one to follow Brother Branham. That’s the work of the Devil.
There were two things that the opening of the Seals came to do, and they were: to expose the mystery of iniquity, all false prophets, and all false interpretations, and all false teachings; and the mystery of godliness was to show you the revelation of the son of man. Two major things the seals were opened for; to show you the mystery of the Devil and his deception, and to show you the mystery of godliness; God. Two great things!
There is no escape from deception today, unless a man finds where the revelation of the seven seals is being preached. No escape from deception. The whole world is deceived presently. And there is only one way of escape and that is to hear a man that has a revelation that came from under the seven seals, because the earth is filled with false prophets, and false teachers, and false organizations. Wherever that revelation is being preached, a false prophet has no chance. Were it not for the opening of the Seals; every one of us would be deceived. How many were deceived before; let me see your hands? [Congregation lifts their hands.] Every one of us was deceived before, because we had not heard His voice. But the Seals were opened to expose two things, and they are the mystery of iniquity and the mystery of godliness. That is why we could stand up here, and expose the mystery of iniquity, and even call the very names of those men who are in the mystery of iniquity. Once it was a mystery, but now they are exposed by the Opening of the Seals. Once we felt that those men were great men of God, but now we know that they are no more than false prophets. Oh yes! Now, what did that? It was the opening of the Seals. Now, that is where we are sitting; we are sitting under the opening of the Seals; and the mystery of iniquity is being preached; and the mystery of godliness is being preached. So now, every night you come here, it adds up to two things: a revelation of the son of man and revelation concerning the Devil. And what the Lord is doing is exposing the Devil, and taking you away from the Devil and his deception, and showing you the Lord by His Word, and leading you to Him.
Oh Yes! That is why throughout the years, those false prophets that passed this way, and sat under the revealed Word of God, had little or no chance. “Why?” Because, the revelation that was being preached was exposing those false prophets. And somebody might say, “Well preacher, how do you know to expose that fellow as a false prophet?” The Word! The Seals! And if a man is not doing that, he is not preaching the Word and he does not know anything about the opening of the Seals. Because, that is what the Seals were opened for; to expose false prophets and show you God’s servants. Oh yes! That’s the Truth.
I want to say this: this revelation is so powerful and so sacred, that it was kept shut up for six thousand years, and even from the foundation of the world, and was only revealed today. It is a revelation that is dear to God’s heart and something very precious. It’s the plan and program of God for perfection. Then, this revelation from my experience, from my revelation, from the way that I understand; it demands reverence and respect from those who come in contact with it.
RELIGIOUS AMBITIONS
A person should not be living in fornication and adultery; lying, cussing, stealing, gambling, and carrying on in a ridiculous manner. It is irreverence to God’s revelation. He could be cut off immediately whilst he sits on his seat. Because of that, it demands respect, it demands reverence. Above all, it demands the right desires and pure motives and objectives after Eternal Life. A person who comes around that revelation must have one thing in his heart, one goal set before him and that is: Eternal Life and that only.
He must not have an ambition to use this Revelation for the purpose of popularity, or to make merchandise out of it, or to show what a great philosopher he is, or to show how knowledgeable he is.
A man who comes around this Revelation, a woman who comes around this revelation, must be able to shun great, religious ambitions of being famous with the truth. They should not be trying to approximate, the great modern and famous singers, or what they call gospel singers. They are not of God. It is Hollywood pride and showmanship.
They should not be trying to be an Oral Roberts, or Billy Graham. That is the worst thing you could ever try to be. Their ambitions must be pure. Their motives must be one thing, and that is set upon eternal life. When they come in contact with that Revelation, they should try with all their hearts to humble themselves under the hand of almighty God, because it was declared by the Lord Jesus:
“He that humbleth himself shall be exalted, but he that exalteth himself, shall be abased” (or brought low).
And it is a dangerous thing to have a proud spirit around this revelation. And I will tell you why, and I will show you examples. It’s a dangerous thing, when you come around and hear all these swelling truths, and you have a proud heart. You are going to start to boast and argue. And all that argument and all the boasting and all the carrying on would be to exalt yourself into a place to show men that you have knowledge. And the Lord does not like that. The Bible says, “The Lord resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
We must be able to humble ourselves. Not be proud, argumentative, critical etc of others, even though we know that people are wrong. We should not be going around and just blast out at them, be critical of them; carrying on in an ungodly manner. You leave that preaching for the pulpit. You leave that criticizing for the pulpit. You should go about being sweet, being humble, and being kind, trying to live that life before men that they may see their error. Not be proud, argumentative, critical etc, but surrendering under the leadership of God's Spirit, working through God's gift that is set over you.
When you come to this Revelation, you are a baby, and with such a great revelation that was hid since the foundation of the world, you don't know anything about it. You already made so many mistakes in your life, and it never led you to eternal life. Once and for all humble your heart to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, because you don't know what to do with this revelation of the seals.
You never heard that revelation before. You don't know how to act before such a great Revelation. You don't know how to conduct yourself before such a great Revelation, such a mighty God, and such great things, you do not know how to handle them. When you come before such a great God and His revelation, humble your heart.
Let your heart come into that place of asking God, “What must I do?” Do not have something in your mind, set there of what you want to do. “I want to become a preacher, or I want to go out and speak in tongues, or I will tell you how I will serve God. I will give him fifty percent and take fifty percent for the world.” Now, that could have been done in organisation, but around this Revelation, when a man has his own opinion, he will be self-led. He will have a proud and haughty spirit. He has reached to a place before the great almighty God, that God could cut him off at once.
"He that exalteth himself shall be abased, but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."
The way to be exalted, with the almighty God into His kingdom and into the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, is to first humble thyself. Why is that so important preacher? I will tell you. I am not just filling up words. I am telling you of what I have seen, I am telling you of what I have heard. I am telling you of what the Lord revealed to me. The way up is the way down. I learnt that.
DESPERATION – BORN AGAIN
The way up is to come down, and if you want to be thrown down by almighty God, exalt yourself. Exalt yourself and the Lord is going to abase you. A proud spirit is a terrible thing. When you come to that Word of God, it doesn't matter what that Word of God demands of you, if you are seeking eternal life, do it! Do it! If you are really desiring eternal life, God would not have to fight-up and “butt-up” with you for you to obey His Word, because your heart is hot on fire, like Brother Bill, who will do anything to hear the truth and obey it. Now, my brother, that’s the desperation you must have, in order to follow the Word of God.
You cannot inject your ideas into this. You cannot inject your organizational habits. You cannot inject your Laodicean ways, of how you used to serve God, way back down there. Around this revelation you are going to come down and understand that this is the only form of eternal life and you want it with all your heart, you are ready to be led by the Spirit of God, and there is only one way that God is going to lead you to eternal life and that is by a man! There is no other way that God has; no other way.
You could take a pile of Spoken Word Books, go home, read them and get the wrong interpretation and become a false prophet in the morning. Oh yes! You could attend services once in six months or once in three months and hear a little bit of that and think that you are saved, go out there and make yourself a false prophet. Our purpose must be right.
LEADERSHIP – ETERNAL LIFE
Do not underestimate the words that I am speaking to you. Many men went that way, and ended up in the mad-house (Insane asylum). After they found this truth, they went about seeking God, in a way that they thought was right, the way that organizations taught them to seek God. An organizational way of seeking God would not work with this Word. If this Revelation is great enough to give you eternal life, it is great enough to tell you how to seek eternal life. And if that servant of God who the Lord put over you, God blessed him to impart eternal life to you by the Word of God, the Lord has also blessed him with the knowledge to tell you how to seek eternal life. If you want to find life, sit under the hearing of God’s Word.
There is no way that you could get all the Spoken Word books, all the tapes, sit down and pray and fast every day and be born again. Unless you sit under a preacher with a true gift of God, you will never be born again. No organization could produce the New Birth. There is not a person who sat under a preacher of the message, who had all those interpretations, is born again. There is only one way to be born again and that is to hear the revealed Word.
Don't you realize that the New Birth is a Revelation of the son of man, and that’s the rock that the gates of hell cannot prevail against? If you sit there and don't know anything about the son of man, you are not yet born again. And some hypocritical heart thinks that “when I see the time nearing, I will get serious with God, and I will run up there and try to be born again.” You are going plumb through the tribulation, you hypocrite. It does not work like that. No! It does not work like that.
You have to be seeking God. You have to be born again. You have to put on that stature of a perfect man that you see on that board, and then you will get the Baptism of the Holy Ghost; and only those who get the Baptism of the Holy Ghost will qualify for the Rapture. Every other thing is going through the tribulation. Every other thing is going to be lost. Oh yes!
That’s why the scripture says, “That the day cometh that shall burn as a oven and yea and all the proud and all that do wickedly shall be stubble". And that proud heart in this age, there is one thing it cannot do, and that is to recognize leadership through a simple human vessel.
Do you think the president will come here and sit down, and ask me to pastor his soul? Do you think that Oral Roberts will come and do that? Do you think the superintendent from the Pentecostal Church will do so? Do you think some educated genius will come and ask me to look over his soul? But I want to tell you, I have the goods to look over the souls of mankind. I say that humbly before the Lord. My beloved, it’s only by the grace of the Lord I say that, and they would not come here, because they are too proud. And the Lord has given many of you grace, with all your positions, with all your degrees and with all your education. It is only the mercy of God that helped you to climb down from that proud ladder and ask some little brother, that has some little gift in him, that you recognize: “Brother, lead me to eternal life”. It is only the grace of God that did that to you.
But would the world do that? And that is why this world is going to hell. And that is the way that the Lord set it up.
The Bible says, “How can they hear without a preacher, and how can that preacher, preach except he be sent.”
You cannot hear the voice of Christ, you cannot receive eternal life and your spiritual ears cannot be opened up until you hear a God-sent preacher. Now, you do what you want with that.
You say, “I will get the books and I will listen to the tapes, understand them on my own and I will be born again.” You are going to hell. Oh yes! Don't let that rapture catch you too. It’s going to leave you. As sure as the world, you will make an interpretation. I met men who tried it their way. I am going to give you some stories.
There is no other way outside of finding true leadership and humbling that proud heart. Do you know a proud heart does not want to be led? Because a man thinks that he is a leader himself. “I have some education, and I have friends like any other man.” Let me tell you, eternal life does not work by friends; it works by the heart; and God deals with the human heart, and leads man through a human heart by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That is what He does.
God hides that knowledge, and He hides that wisdom in the bosom of some simple person. A fool to this world’s wisdom is going to quicker find life than the wise of this earth. They are foolish before God and they are trying to work out everything by their brains.
Now, look at what the wise will begin to think: “What school did he come from? What education does he have? Let me see what kind of house he has?” He is a carnal judge, and if he judged Jesus like that, he would have kicked Jesus in His day. Check and see how much education Jesus had. He was a simple human being, but inside of Him was a fountain of wisdom and a fountain of life. And that common little man, who did not have his robe pressed (ironed), stood up one day and said:
John 11:25 <…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?>
And that little sheep cried out there, “Yea, Lord: I believe.” Oh let me be that little sheep. “Yea, Lord: I believe.” “I am not going to watch at your education, your personality. I am not going to watch at anything Lord. I am going to watch the words that I am hearing. They are words of eternal life, and we are sure that thou art the Christ that should come into the world. To whom shall we go for thou hast the words of eternal life?”
Oh! Beloved! Beloved! God set this thing up in such a simple way, that a man who humbles his heart, and that woman who humbles her heart are going to find it. Oh yes! They and they alone are going to find it. Outside of such plan, is to wind yourself away from God, and make yourself a false prophet. The minute you come around this Word of God, with highmindedness, self leadership, and want to make yourself something great upon the great truths that you have heard, you are going to wind yourself away from God.
But I am persuaded better things of you. I believe that our motives and our objectives are after eternal life, and that is why we stood the Word test. If you are not after eternal life, something is going to come down the road, to pull you away. Some man, some woman, some false prophet. Something is going to arise that will pull you away from the Word of God.
You say, “How do I know that I am desiring eternal life?" You have to know that. And that is very simple. What do you want more than anything else upon this earth? What do you want? "Brother Bruce, what I want more than anything else in this world is to pass my exam.” You are lost before you start. You cannot get a revelation. “I want this certain woman.” You would not have eternal life. But if you have in your heart, eternal life, then the Lord is going to give you that and still supply a godly wife for you. You could be seeking eternal life first and have that first place, and at the same time you could be seeking a wife and have that second place. That is acceptable to God. You could be seeking a job and have that third place and be seeking something else and have that fourth or fifth place. Do you see what I am saying? If you have that lined up like that, all well and good. I am not preaching fanaticism, saying that everybody should leave everything and go out after eternal life. That will be the wrong thing to do.
Now, I am going to show you a few examples; living examples, where men were seeking something other than eternal life, when they came in contact with God’s Word, and what the results were. I say, they wound themselves away from the Word of God and became false prophets. When you came to this revelation and heard God’s Word and recognized that to be truth, that was not by chance; that is the grace of God to you. You better don't spurn that grace. You don't joke around with that grace that the Lord gave to you, and put that off and say, “When I get time I will see about that.” The Lord will kick you out before the morning.
“Those that were bidden were not worthy to taste of my supper. Go and compel them to come from the highways and the byways.” You had better be urgent about what the Lord revealed and showed you in the Word of God, otherwise one morning you will wake up and you would believe that what you have heard, one year ago, is eventually false. The Lord has given you over to a strong delusion, that you believed a lie and was damned by that lie. That is what the Lord said.
You don't joke around this Revelation when you hear it. Believe the Word of God, set your heart on eternal life and that only. Don't put anything before the Lord. Go and do your work, go to school, do what you are doing. You have to live in this world. Have one thing on your mind: eternal life. And if anything comes before you and this eternal life: wife, husband, children, job, land or house, "I am ready to give it up; I want eternal life. And even though they want to take this natural life, I am giving it up too. I want eternal life.” That is the way a real man seeks eternal life and that is the way man finds it. Seek after eternal life with all your heart. Jesus said, "He that lose his life for my sake, shall find it." That is what the Bible says. Don’t joke around this Word of God, it is too precious.
Let me tell you something; this Word is my life; this is my eating, my drinking and my very breath. That’s the way I value this revelation. I hate to hear a man take this thing lightly, and make an excuse, “Well I was a little busy and I could not come to church.” Excuses! You are not after eternal life enough. “Well, I had to go to a wedding; I can't hear the Word of God.” The wedding is more important to you than His Word. Be careful of how you treat this thing. This revelation is too great for that kind of treatment. Brother, this revelation is so great that God hid it from Abraham, he hid it from Jacob, he hid it form Isaac; he hid it from Noah. He hid it from all the prophets and all the Jews, and all the great men and gave it to us.
How we should treat it; how we should have reverence for it! When that Word of God is being preached, we should be in fear and trembling. You don't even get up to spit, unless it is necessary. When prayer is being offered to the almighty God, you should not even move. That is reverence. That is the reverence we should have. This Revelation is eternal life. Don't you know that the words coming forth from this pulpit is life? It is eternal life, because it is the Word of God. And don’t you know that if you don’t take it as life, it could kill you right in your seat? You could get up from there and walk out and never have that desire to serve God. How we should watch our attitudes, our motives, our desires, our objectives! And because people failed to do such things, they reached into certain conditions that I am going to relate to you.
People hear it, but they don't love it enough. When you come around that Revelation, let me tell you something, knowing the time and the hour, every heart ought to try to get every ounce of the Word of God. He will be fearful to miss one service, knowing that he could miss out something, and then break the chain of him understanding something. Fear will strike his heart, but when you see people don't come to church in weeks, something is wrong.
You cannot set your house in order. You heard the Word of God that says to get your beard off your face. The message declared it. If you will still have it there, something is wrong, and you need to get that old beard off your face. I say that in love. Oh yes. When you have that old long hair on your head, and the Bible says, “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?”
When the Bible say you should not commit fornication, and you go live in fornication and live in adultery, and the same way, lie and sit down in the House of the Lord, you are playing the part of a hypocrite. The Lord could cut you off by the Word of God. Don't you know that the Bible says that a man of God who handles the Word of God is an avenger, and he useth not the sword in vain? He could take your life by the Word of God or impart eternal life to you.
Read the book of Romans the thirteenth chapter, how you ought to fear the Word of God and respect it. After all, we did not deserve this eternal life and the Lord came and handed us this eternal life. Here you were down in a pit, ready to die, you were strangling to death on a rope, and the Lord said, “Come son, I want to deliver you.” And you say, "Just now Lord, I have to do something important; when I get time Lord you will take the rope off my neck." You will die! You will die! There is nothing more important than eternal life, and that rich young ruler had something he loved more than eternal life.
That rich young ruler came and asked, “Master, what good thing shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said, “Obey the commandments of God.” He said, “This I have obeyed from my youth. I have been a church member all the days of my life, and I don't have this eternal life. I keep all the Laws of Moses, and I know that I am not born again; I know I don't have eternal life. Tell me the truth Master, tell me the truth; what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Don't you forget, that was the Revelation of God standing before him. Don't you forget, that was eternal God, the almighty, veiled in human flesh, revealed as the son of man. You have come to the very same thing today: the son of man revealed, and you are that rich young ruler, standing there today, and you were searching through organization and never found the answer to life. But you came face to face and asked the Master, “What good thing shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said, "Why call me good, there is no one good but God, but if thou will be perfect man go sell all that you have, distribute it to the poor and come and follow me.” He hung down his head and was very sad because he was very rich.
Beloved, that man had his business, and loved money more than eternal life. That rich young ruler opened up his eyes in hell. Another rich man said, “Now, soul, take thy ease, eat, drink and be merry, for you have come unto great wealth.” Then the death angel passed that night and said. "Thou fool, this very night thy soul is required of thee, and whose shall those things be?" He went to hell.
And the scripture says, "The rich man opened up his eyes in hell, being in torment and cried.” But in crying there, he had no one to hear him, and many men go that way today. Many men have too many things set before almighty God. They have their ambitions, they have their pride, they have self and everything before eternal life, and when you came to this, you did not come to an organization, you came face to face with eternal life, you don't spurn that, you don't reject that, you don't turn it down; you don't fool around with that. It is eternal life and you ought to lay down your life to receive eternal life.
Jesus Christ laid down his life to impart eternal life to you, and you will have to lay down your life to receive it. You are not going to get it free. He laid down his life to purchase eternal life for you, and you will lay down your life to receive it. "He that loses his life for my sake shall find it". Don't think that you are going to waltz into this business. I am going to give you one or two examples of men who played around this Revelation, and became false prophets and antichrists, and are now on their way to hell, most likely.
