We greet each and eve= ry one of you and especially to our brethren who are streaming in different pa= rts of the world, we welcome you to this service. <o:p></o:p> We = are happy to address you on the same subject. We are grateful to the Lord and m= ore than thankful for each one of you brethren and the saints of God that are listening in. I believe <st1:City w:st=3D"on">Bethel</st1:City> is on tonig= ht and we send greeting from G.C.C. to each one of you in the <st1:place w:st=3D"o= n">Caribbean</st1:place>. The title of the message is, “Pentecostalism – One Hundred Year= s: Built Upon Tongues But Not The Rock.” <o:p></o:p> I b= elieve that we already proved that but we will continue to disarm Pentecostalism, which arose in 1906, again. If the Lord be willing, we will continue. There is so much, I doubt that I could finish but whatever we are laying in, we want to lay it in very strong. <o:p></o:p> We = are endeavoring by these messages to prove that the Outpouring of the Holy Spir= it in 1906 w= as not the return of Pentecost. It was not the original Baptism of the Holy Ghost that= the apostles received. We have chosen to deal with this subject because the religious world today is celebrating one hundred years of Pentecostalism and they are boldly proclaiming around the world that Pentecost did return in 1= 906. We are here to refute that. We are gathered together to make their claims v= oid, to prove by the Word of God that it is the biggest lie of the twentieth century. The biggest lie of the twentieth century is that Pentecost returne= d in 1906. It is a lie.<o:p></o:p>= <o:= p> </o:p> <o:= p> </o:p> Message believers received baptism from 1906<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Now,= many of our brethren that follow the message of Malachi 4:5 around the world hav= e joined in this celebration: to celebrate the return of Pentecost in 1906, because better than ninety-nine percent, I will presume, believe that Pentecost did return in 1906. On account of that, they received their Pentecost, received their baptism in organizations. <o:p></o:p> As a result of receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost that was poured out in 19= 06, they were able to hear the message; they recognized the prophet and came ou= t of Pentecostalism—that’s the doctrine. So they claim that if they = did not have the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit like the day of Pentecost, whi= ch returned in 1906, they could not have heard the message and come out of organization. They contend that the Holy Spirit had to be abiding in them in order to receive the message of the hour. So then, receiving Brother Branham’s message, receiving him as a prophet and believing all that = he said is the evidence of the Holy Ghost like they received on the day of Pentecost. That is the popular doctrine around the world. <o:p></o:p></= p> A l= ittle strange thing here that we will pick up a little later is that after fifty years of Pentecostalism, the prophet of God, William Branham, joined in with all the Pentecostals and celebrated the fiftieth anniversary and called it “the Pentecostal Jubilee.” He has a message entitled ‘<st1:City w:st=3D"on">Azusa</st= 1:City> Jubilee,’ 56-0916, <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">L= os Angeles</st1:City></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> So, throughout his ministry, he, himself called 1906 “the Baptism of the = Holy Spirit” and celebrated with them. I believe, if Brother Branham was h= ere, he would probably celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of the baptism of= the Holy Ghost in 1906. How can you go back amongst the Pentecostals and not he= lp them celebrate this great event of 1906? Brother Branham was a man of wisdo= m, knowledge and understanding. He, himself celebrated that and he called it &= #8220;the baptism of the Holy Ghost.” I also would call it “the baptism of the Holy Ghost” and continue to call it the “baptism of the Holy Spirit,” but we will divide the lines as we go along. <o:p></o:p></sp= an> <o:= p> </o:p> <o:= p> </o:p> Pentecost – come to the rock revelation<o:p></o:p> <o:= p> </o:p> But tonight, we will major upon the fact of Pentecostalism being built on </spa= n>tongues bu= t not the Rock. So now, the Rock is our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God. In th= ese two Scriptures that I read here from Ephesians 2:18-20, the Bible said that= the Church or the temple of God is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets and Jesus Christ is tying this thing together as the chief Cornerstone. That is one Scripture.<o:p></o:p> Ove= r in the book of Matthew 16:18, it is recorded here that the Church is built upon the revelation, the Rock revelation of the Son of Man. So without a shadow = of a doubt, before there is a Church for Jesus Christ, there must be a Rock. The= Rock is= a revelation of the Son of Man and the Church is built upon the foundation of= the apostles and prophets. If they claim that we had a return of Pentecost in 1= 906, there is only one thing that Pentecost (the baptism of the Holy Spirit, original Pentecost) would ever come to and that is the Rock revelation of t= he Son of Man. It would only recognize the foundation of the apostles and prophets. <o:p></o:p> Now= , that alone has disarmed the claims of 1906, because I have proven in my last mes= sage that their foundation was not the right foundation and they were unprepared= for that great Artic= le of Pentecost. I am trying to make things so simple that everybody could understand. <o:p></o:p> I am hurrying to get this out before the end of 2006 because we also want to celebrate one hundred years = of Pentecostalism. This is our input into the celebration of Pentecostalism—to tell the truth of what they really had in 1906, the true foundation of the Church. (This is not strange to you; you are a well advised people since 1967. These things are not very new to you) but the <s= t1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:Place= Name w:st=3D"on">God</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> is built upon only one Rock an= d that is the Rock revelation of the Son of Man, the foundation of the apostles and prophets. They, themselves, established that Rock that they were built upon, which is a revelation of the Son of Man. It is not a strange rock, neither = is it two rocks; it is one Rock and anyone that the true outpouring will come = upon must have that Rock. Now that is the Church as a whole. If you, as an individual, are to receive this outpouring of the Holy Spirit, you must have that Rock within your soul. That is very simple. Right? That would not come upon a Trinitarian dogma. No, it will come upon the Rock revelation of Jesus Christ. <o:p></o:p> Now you and I must be strivin= g to make sure that it is within our souls and that is a revelation of the Son of Man, revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, revelation of His Word. That is t= he only way we will receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. If you have a revelation, it is a total impossibility for you not to receive the outpouri= ng of the Spirit. I believe that is eternal security. You might have your ups;= you might have your downs or you might have to settle a lot of disputes sometim= es; but the fact is that you have that Rock revelation. <o:p></o:p> Peter had that Rock within hi= s soul when he confessed Christ but he was a man of many faults. He even chopped o= ff one fellow’s ear. (I’m not telling you to go and chop off anybody’s ears now) but he chopped off a fellow’s ear and then = he got so worked up and so scared that he even cursed and swore. Then afterwar= d, the Lord called him, and in addition to having given him the keys, he told = him, “When thou art converted, feed my sheep. You are not yet converted that is why you behaved like that. So when thou art converted, feed my sheep and don’t forget the little ones now, also f= eed my lambs.” <o:p></o:p><= /span> That is what I am trying to d= o here tonight. Not only feed the sheep but also to feed the lambs, wherever they = are. They can only chew so much. They cannot eat hard grass yet. But you are old sheep and sometimes you get tired of the soft grass and the mother’s = milk but you have to bear patience as we go along because I am trying to comb th= is thing here with a fine-teeth comb that the people on the outside there (when this goes on the internet and when it goes into a book and the tapes are set up) that they should not have any questions. <o:p></o:p> So, I am trying again to prov= e that 1906 did not have a return of Pentecost or the original baptism of the Holy Spirit like the day of Pentecost. It is a total impossibility according to = the Scripture; a total impossibility according to the written Word of God for t= hem to have had the return of Pentecost in the condition that they were in. This is proven by their own histor= ies. <o:p></o:p> Now the reference to the Pentecostal history was taken from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. You wi= ll get all that information in there and it will refer you to many books from whence they gleaned their historical facts. Now these historical facts are = on that tape from yesterday. It is not my idea or not something hatched up to = run down Pentecostalism but this is their own testimony and I am just using it. From their own testimony, we examined their foundation. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> <o:p> </o:p> 1906 - reformation= not restoration<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> I </span= >will brief you on that. First= of all, they came out of the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on"= >Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>, and it was = a time of Reformation. A time of Reformation coming from Luther, coming out of the Dark Ages and they started to reform the church that was almost destroyed b= y <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Rome</st1:City></st1:place>. For one thou= sand years, it was destroyed by <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Rom= e</st1:City></st1:place> and only a stump was left. The prophet of God preached a message called, ‘Restoration of Bride Tree,̵= 7; (<st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Jeffersonville</st1:City></st= 1:place>, 62-0422). <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Quote W.M.B.: 75-2 God said, "I will restore It."… four death messengers killed It; then four Life messengers will restore It. What was the first? Martin Luther, justification. What was the second? John Wesley--by sanctification. What was the third? Pentecost with the restoration of the gifts, the Holy Ghost, bap= tism of the Holy Ghost. What was the fourth? The Word…Malachi 4, Elijah is= to come with the very Word. <o:p></o:p> The Word of the Lord came to the prophet. In the evening Lights is = to come forth to restore and bring back. What? Turn the hearts of the children back to the faith of the fathers (Restoration Of Bride Tree 62-0422).<o:p></o:p><= /p> <o:p> </o:p> Quote: E-66 …when He returns = He will find the same church. What the palmerworm left the caterpillar eaten; what = the caterpillar left the locust eaten; on down to the cankerworm. But God said.= .. "I will restore," saith God.<o:p></o:p> Romanism, and so forth, eat that beautiful bride tree of Christ down till it become a stump. But God brought right back out of that stump, right= up through the Lutheran age, right up through the Wesley age, through the Pentecostal age. And now it's in the evening Light. "I will restore, s= aith the Lord, all the years that the cankerworm, caterpillar... I will restore again that church in her beauty, that church in her power= ." (Be Not Afraid 62-0620).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> The very reason that there is supposed to be a restoration is because the Church was almost completely destroyed by the antichrist and <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on= ">Rome</st1:City></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> So, Luther coming out of the = Dark Ages, brought over the Trinitarian baptism, Trinitarian doctrines and all t= hose dogmas and creeds. Many of them are from the Catholic Church. Then a little while after that, the Methodists came out of the Lutherans. When they came = out, they brought over the same Trinitarian doctrine and many of their heresies.= So now, if you notice the historical background of these men, Parham, Seymour,= and many others, they emerged from the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:= st=3D"on">Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. That gives = you a good picture of how people came out of the Dark Ages under Luther. From the Lutherans, out came the Methodist. From the Methodist, came forth Pentecost= als. It was an Age of Reformation= . <o:p></o:p> A very important point that I= might stress here is that, under Reformation was Luther and Wesley. Reformation w= as to continue under so-called Pentecostalism. Instead of calling that “Reformation,” they called it “Restoration.” <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> THE LUTHERAN, WESLEYAN & PENTECOSTAL AGE DID = NOT RESTORE THE CHURCH TO THE FULNESS OF PENTECOST<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </= o:p> Quote W.M.B.: 379-1 The peopl= e of God are being made ready by the Word of Truth from the messenger to this ag= e. In her will be the fulness of Pentecost for the Spirit will bring the people right back to where they were at the beginning. That is "Thus saith the Lord." … for that is what Joel 2:23-26 says… I will restor= e to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpill= ar, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you. <o:p></o:p></span= > …Now it says God is going to "restore". The Lutheran Age did not restore the church; it started a reformation. The Wesleyan Age = did not restore. The Pentecostal Age did not restore. But God has to restore fo= r He cannot deny His Word. This is not the resurrection of the Church; it is the "Restoration". God will take the Church right back to Pentecost of the beginning. Now notice in verse 25 it tells why we need restoration. The locust, cankerworm, caterpillar and palmerworm have eaten all but the root = and a small bit of the stem. (Resume Of The Ages - Church Age Book Cpt.10).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> That was the biggest mistake = that they ever made. They called it “Restoration”, and took it clear= ly from their minds the title of “Reformation”, because they belie= ved that they had returned to Pentecost. But that was also an age of Reformatio= n. They were to reform the church: take what the Lo= rd gave to them, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which was genuine. <o:p></o= :p> They should have sought the L= ord with all their hearts, looking for the restoration and the plan that God pu= t in place by prophecy in the Scripture to get that restoration. They jumped ahe= ad and they called it Restoration. They were based upon Acts 2:4 and Joel 2: 23-28. <o:p></o:p> Do you know that we are based= on the same Scriptures? Yes. Instead of making that mistake to think that we are restored now, we recognize the restoration of = the Word, by the prophet, William Branham, and we are looking for full Restorat= ion. So what they should have done in 1906, we are now doing that, one hundred y= ears after. We have to be the people</sp= an> of </spa= n>God. We had to be born for this outpouring of the Holy Spirit; otherwi= se we would make the same mistake that they made. We are waiting patiently for= the great Restoration. The Word was res= tored by William Branham, but the = great Article of Pentecost and the Church itself is not yet restored. We are wait= ing for that Restoration that Brother Branham preached about in ‘Restoration of Bride Tree’= ;. <o:p></o:p> And if it is restored, we mus= t of necessity have a Church like the day of Pentecost upon the earth and another book of Acts must be written. The prophet of God said that in so many words. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> ORIGINAL BRANCH – BOOK OF ACTS<o:p></o:p></= span> <o:p> </= o:p> Quote W.M.B.: E-82= </sp= an>These denominations has been grafted in. They're still bearing denominational fruit, membership, so forth. But when the Tree puts out orig= inal branch again, there'll be a book of Acts wrote behind It. (The Way Back 62-1123).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> And that is what we are going= to see. We believe that there will be an original branch put forth, then that = will be the evidence that we have returned to Pentecost. This is clear like a whistle. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> <o:p> </o:p> 1906 foundation: tongues, sodomy, racism, divisions<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> As Luther and Wesley came out of the Dark Ages, these men emerged fr= om so-called Pentecost. Coming out of that, they were still Trinitarians. They= still baptized in Trinitarian baptism. They still had a lot of things from the <s= t1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:Place= Type w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> and even borrowed some from= the Lutheran and the Catholic doctrines. They borrowed a lot of that stuff and brought them over. Now, this is the foundation of these fellows: Trinitaria= nism. The apostles never had that. No! And then their foundation was built on “Bible Schools.” = <o:p></o:p> The father of the whole thing, Parham, built Bible schools and when revival broke, he still built one. If = that was original Pentecost, the Holy Ghost would not allow him to do that. He w= as based upon theology. He was a theologian himself. Peter, James and John were not theologians. Paul was a theologian one time but he had to forget his theology. That is Scriptural order. <o:p></o:p> Philippians 3:8 <Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss = for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.><o:p></o:p> Then, you know what happened; Parham was charged for sodomy with little boys—the wrong foundation. = And then he was guilty of racism and became a full-fledged racist and supported= a Klan against the black people. He was responsible for divisions and then bu= ilt organizations and declared that speaking in other tongues is the <sp= an style=3D'font-size:10.0pt'>initial evidence</span= > of the Holy Ghost. That make= s up my subject right here. <o:p><= /o:p> This was the major heresy that started in 1906, even with that revival: tongues were the initial evidence = of the Holy Ghost. That is how they judged that Pentecost had returned. That is how they judged that they had what Peter, James and John had. That is how t= hey judged that Restoration had taken place, that Joel 2: 23-28 was now fulfill= ed and Acts 2:4 was repeated. They did that by these tongues. The Bible says, = it is the least of gifts. And they forget that the devil also speaks in tongue= s. How are you going to distinguish if the Holy Ghost is upon a man or if the devil is upon a man, because both of them speak in tongues? The Holy Ghost = does speak in tongues and we do believe in speaking in tongues.<o:p></o:p></span= > I Corinthians <st1:time Hour=3D"14" Minute=3D"39" w:st=3D"on">14:39= </st1:time> <Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.> <o:p></o:p> So we believe in tongues. We believe that it is a gift but we believe that it is the least of the gifts. But these men took it as the greatest gift. Look at t= hat! They took it as the greatest gift. The greatest gift was the tongues, accor= ding to their doctrine, and they made that the initial evidence of the Holy Ghos= t. That traveled for one hundred years. Up to today, they have women in pants, chopped off hair, living in adultery, fornication, wearing shorts, bringing= in <st1:City w:st=3D"on">Sodom</st1:City> and <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"o= n">Gomorrah</st1:City></st1:place> into the church, rock and roll music and nasty living of all kinds, includi= ng sodomy, right in the churches. They called themselves Pentecostals, based u= pon the lie that “Pentecost did return in 1906.” <o:p></o:p> There was a seed planted down= there but they had the wrong foundation</= span>. The foundation then, accord= ing to the history, was racism, Trinitarianism, <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceN= ame w:st=3D"on">Bible</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Schools</st1:= PlaceType></st1:place>, theology, immorality, divisions, organizations—but the greatest foundation was “tongues as the evidence of the Holy Ghost.” And that was the major heresy at that time. Now it does not matter what kind of= a life that they lived, these people are so deceived of the devil that they believe as long as they speak in tongues, they have the Holy Ghost and they= are prepared for the rapture. That is terrible deception! <o:p></o:p> Parham was called “The = Father of Modern Pentecostalism” but his life bears record of his evil natur= e. His own life bears record that he did not go back to Pentecost. If the Fath= er of Pentecost, had his foundation wrong and we can prove that he never did return to the real Pentecost, original Pentecost, what about his followers? Don’t forget that this man planted the seed in = our Brother Seymour and convinced him that the initial evidence of the Holy Gho= st is speaking in tongues. The whole thing has a certain foundation, which I l= aid out here. <o:p></o:p><= /p> Parham’s tongues founda= tion is a heresy. This is evident even by simple observation of how he came to t= hat conclusion. His students taught </s= pan>him. How shallow in the Word was Parham! His corrupt life blocked the spiritual channel for any revelation from God. Thus he relied upon the heretical conclusion of his Bible school students.<o:p></o:p> Now, according to Parham̵= 7;s own doctrine, which he taught, there is: justification, sanctification and = then comes the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now, that is correct and that is Bible doctrine. Brother Branham taught that doctrine, “Justification, Sanctification, baptism of the Holy Spirit.” Parham claimed to speak = in tongues and receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. But then he was not sanctified! Sanctification means, “cleansed from your evil habits, ev= il nature and then set aside for service by the true baptism of the Holy Spirit.” <o:p></o:p></s= pan> This man’s own doctrine defeated him because, first, you have to pass through justification, then be cleansed of sodomy, of racism, of pride, of division, of heresies, false doctrines, Bible schools and theology before you come up the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I am proving and announcing to the whole world that what the father of Pentecost received was not the true Art= icle of Pentecost. It was not the article of Pentecost and his own life proved it. <o:p></o:p> Then, if something is wrong w= ith the root, the whole tree is sick! Imagine that the root was sick way back in 1906, and even earlier than that, the branches are sick today and the fruits that they are bearing are sick. One hundred years! Imagine those kinds of knotty frui= ts on that tree throughout so-called Pentecost. Imagine that I have to pick up all these fruits that were born from 1906 and trace it right down to Benny Hinn today! Friends, it is the “cream of the crop” of so-called Pentecost that we have on the television and in the churches. That is the “cream of the crop” but I’ll tell you something, Jesus has the “Cream of the Crop” and He wi= ll show off the “Cream of the Crop” upon the earth here. <o:p></o:p> Taking this foundation of so-= called Pentecost 1906 and comparing it with the foundation of the fathers of origi= nal Pentecost, it cannot blend! A man has to be totally dishonest, he has got t= o be a hypocrite like Judas; he has to be a man that is not after eternal </span= >Life to think that Pentecost did return after he hears what I am saying here, because I have gone through the history and I am showing you the foundation of Parham, Father of Pentecost. I am reading from the Bible, Act= s 2, and I am citing here the whole book of Acts as my evidence to prove the foundation of the original fathers of Pentecost and it cannot fit. There is= no way upon the earth to fit the foundation of 1906 with the original foundati= on. And you must have this foundation in order to have the outpouring. We have = been laying this foundation for many decades and our foundation is strong. <o:p></o:p> I am calling the 1906 foundat= ion, “a foundation of sand.” And the foundation of the <st1:place w:= st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Apostolic</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</s= t1:PlaceType></st1:place> is built upon a Rock. Jesus spoke of that parable and there is a rain coming one of these days and the wind is going to blow (That’s the wind from= the World Council of Churches) and, beloved, the rain is going to come one of t= hese days. The Bible says it is going to beat upon both houses; “the rain falleth upon the just and upon the unjust.” And the one with the “Rock” is going to stand. But the one that is upon sand, Jesus said, “great was the fall of it.” <o:p></o:p> Matthew 7:24-27 <Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mi= ne, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upo= n a rock: <o:p></o:p> And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.<o:p>= </o:p> And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them no= t, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: <= o:p></o:p> And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.><o:p></= o:p> Now that is where it stands.1= 906 is a sand foundation. And that foundation was built upon the maj= or heresy of “tongues.” But the foundation of the early fathers, t= he <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Apostolic</st1:PlaceName> <st1:Place= Type w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> was built upon a Rock. It i= s so wonderful! <o:p></o:p>= Now everything that is based = today upon the 1906 experience to go in the rapture is not going to go into the rapture. That is why all these teachings of our Lord are for the end time a= nd all these parables. Like the foolish and wise virgins; the man without the wedding garment; two shall be at the mill: one shall be taken, the other le= ft behind; there were those that was invited to a supper. Now you see how all those Scriptures fit in over there because they are the parables of the Kingdom, and the Kingdom is none other than the true Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. <o:p></o:p> If I start preaching on the f= oolish virgins it will take me another hour and if I put Pastor McGahee tomorrow, = he will preach for another two hours on the man without the wedding garment. A= nd if I get another fellow and put him up here to preach, he will start preach= ing about two grinding at the mill, two in the field, and two out here, one tak= en and the other left behind. <o= :p></o:p> I am asking the question, “Why?” I am giving you the answer right here in a nutshell. The reason is that people based their salvation on the 1906 experience and it cannot carry them in the rapture although they follow the message and they believe Brother Branham was a prophet. They cannot go in the rapture; it is= a total impossibility to go in the rapture under those conditions. <o:p></o:p> There are people building the= ir salvation today upon the original outpouring of the Holy Spirit like it was given on the day of Pentecost and they will go in the raptur= e and only them! Yes, sir! This is our contention! This was the contention of Wil= liam Branham; this was the contention of Robert Lambert, who sealed his testimony with his blood. This is the contention of all our ministers; this is the contention of all that now believe E.O.D.H. around the world. We believe it. <o:p></o:p> There are two groups today. O= ne believes in a great Outpouring of the Holy Spirit to come and there are oth= ers that don’t believe it. Everyone that does not believe in an Outpouring today is not in preparation for the rapture. <o:p></o:p> Just to brief you: the early fathers that went to the Upper Room with the hundred and twenty were all fi= lled with the Holy Ghost, a hundred and twenty, including sisters. John was about seventeen years of age. Teenagers went up there. <o:p></o:p> First of all, the foundation = of the early Church (the hundred and twenty): they were justified, sanctified and = then they received the Holy Spirit. They fulfilled the Scripture of Ezekiel 9: <= o:p></o:p> Ezekiel 9:3-4: <And the glory of the God of <st1:place w:st=3D"o= n"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Israel</st1:country-region></st1:place> was gone up from the c= herub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;<o:p></o:p><= /span> And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, throu= gh the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that s= igh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.>= ;<o:p></o:p> They were so afraid when our = Lord Jesus was killed that they were hiding themselves and they were sighing and crying for the abomination that was done in the city. The man with a writer’s inkhorn, dressed in white came down on the day of Pentecost = and set a mark upon them. The Sealing angel. <o:p></o:p> Ezekiel 9:5-7 <And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have= ye pity:<o:p></o:p> Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and wo= men: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.<o:p></o:p><= /span> And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with t= he slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.><o:p></o:= p> The next part of that Scriptu= re was fulfilled about thirty-five years after when there were six destroying ange= ls sent to destroy the people of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">= Jerusalem</st1:City></st1:place> for rejecting the true baptism of the Holy Spirit. The judgment was to start at the sanctuary, right in the temple. Th= ose people perished. Everyone who rejects this Outpouring of the Holy Spirit th= at we are speaking about is going through the tribulation and their judgments = will be even sorer that what <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Rome</= st1:City></st1:place> did to the Jews. Didn’t the prophet say, “You’ll receive = the Token or perish”? I don’t really know where that man’s soul went. He cou= ld speak in tongues down in Hell, too, but that doesn’t mean to say that= he had what they had on the day of Pentecost.= <o:p></o:p> The hundred and twenty had th= e Rock revelation of the Son of Man, the same one that Peter confessed. (Matthew 16:16) They had the most important thing. They fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah <o:p></o:p></= p> Isaiah 28:13 <But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a littl= e, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, a= nd snared, and taken.><o:p></o:p> They had received the prophet= , John the Baptist, the Elijah of that age. Then they recognized the Word that was revealed as the Son of Man. That was a solid foundation. That= was the Rock that the Church was built upon.<o:p></o:p> Then a little while after, th= ey understood the plan and program of God to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. They were sent to one place. A man had the keys to the kingdom. A m= an had been given the keys to the outpouring. They were sent to tarry in that = one, certain place until the great Power of God came upon them. Then they were t= o be witnesses around the world. That is God’s simple plan.<o:p></o:p></sp= an> Now, in 1906 was a different = kind of operation: they accepted tongues as the evidence of the Holy Spirit and history says nothing about a sound from heaven. They have missed the boat. That tongue came as a sign. When tho= se people started speaking in tongues, it was a sign that the Lord was going to cut off the Jews and he was going to graft the Gentile into the olive tree.= It is a sign. It is not the initial evidence of the Holy Ghost; it is a sign. = It is the least of the gifts.<o:p></o:p> Another place that tongues we= re used was at the building of the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceType w:st= =3D"on">Tower</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Babel</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>. In 1906, = they started to build “a <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on"= >tower</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Babel</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>,” a = tower of confusion. Notice that when those tongues came at <st1:place w:st=3D"on"= ><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Babel</st1:City></st1:place>, it was time for division, a time= that the people were going to be scattered into different organizations, differe= nt family groups. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> That is exactly what happened= in 1906. So-called Pentecost came there and they took the tongues and ran and = they left the mighty rushing wind behind and they left the cloven tongues of fire behind. In other words, they took the tongue but they left the shoes behind= ! So they took that as the evidence of the Holy Spirit. There is not one Scriptu= re in the entire Bible that tells you that tongues are the evidence of the Holy Spirit. Not one Scripture. Don’t be afraid to say that. <o:p></o:p> I believe that these <= span style=3D'font-size:10.0pt'>messages will lay a foundation for many ministers in our own assemblies and around the world to fight that heresy of 1906. So we want to= lay these things to our hearts. We want to remember these things, how they are placed. It is going to be very important for the field one of these days, a= nd right now, it is going to prove to be very important.<o:p></o:p> “Tongues” is not = the evidence of the Holy Ghost. There is not one Scripture anywhere that said t= hat “when you speak in tongues it is the evidence of the Holy Spirit.R= 21; Where they draw this idea from is that there were some tongues on the day of Pentecost. The Bible said: <o= :p></o:p> Acts 2:4 <…and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.><o:p></o:p> But that was not the great mi= racle. Just now we will get into that. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and spake with tongues as t= he Spirit gave them utterance. Then they went over to another Scripture where = they received the Holy Spirit and they spoke in tongues again but the Bible said, “and they also prophesied.” There are two or three places in the Bible where it is recorded that they received the Holy Ghost and they spoke with tongues. <o:p></o:p></sp= an> Acts 2:4 <And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and bega= n to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.><o:p></o:p>= Acts <st1:time Hour=3D"10" Minute=3D"44" w:st=3D"on">10:44</st1:tim= e>-46 <While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. <o:p></o:p> And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as man= y as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift = of the Holy Ghost. <o:p></o:p> For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answe= red Peter.><o:p></o:p> Acts 19:6 <And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.><o:p></= o:p> Now the same Scripture could = have said, “And they received the Holy Ghost and they jumped over the house!” But that is not the evidence of the Holy Spirit! Now a man could receive the Holy S= pirit and run faster than Ahab’s horses, but everybody doesn’t have to run as fast as Ahab’s horses in order to prove that he has the Holy Spirit. One could open the <st1:place w:st=3D"on">Red Sea</st1:place> and o= ne could remove a mountain and the next fellow over here could do fantastic miracles. <o:p></o:p><= /p> So it was recorded in a few p= laces that when the Holy Ghost came upon them, they spoke with tongues and they prophesied. So now they tied that down as the evidence of the Holy Spirit. = That is not the evidence of the Holy Spirit. Why didn’t they pick out </sp= an>prophecy as the evidence of the Holy Ghost? Because their prophecies are lies. They could have said, “Prophecy is the evidence = of the Holy Spirit because they spake in tongues and prophesied, over in the nineteenth chapter of the Book of Acts.”<o:p></o:p> Acts 19:6 <And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.><o:p></= o:p> Now, to defeat them and to de= feat all their tongues evidence: how many believe that Jesus Christ received the greatest portion of the Holy Ghost and He rece= ived the Fullness of the Godhead bodily in Him; and how many believe that He received it at the banks of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st= =3D"on">Jordan</st1:country-region></st1:place>? Well, I am here to announce to the whole of the Pentecostalism world that <= /span>Jesus never spoke in tongues at the bank= s of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Jordan</st1:country-region></st= 1:place>.<o:p></o:p> Is so-called Pentecost tellin= g you and me that Jesus did not get the Holy Ghost? I am sure they can’t say that! They can’t say that because Jesus received the greatest measure= and He did not speak in tongues at the banks of the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1= :country-region w:st=3D"on">Jordan</st1:country-region></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> Now, so-called Pentecost thin= ks that if a man has the Holy Ghost, he ought to run down the aisles and have a mike in his hand and bawl, “Hallelujah!” all the time and run around the church and come back—then he is under the Power of God. Lo= ok at how a man who had the greatest measure of the Spirit acted. After Jesus = came from the river <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Jorda= n</st1:country-region></st1:place>, the Bible said, <o:p></o:p> Luke 4:17-20 <And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And he closed the book, = and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down…><o:p></o:p>= Now isn’t that wonderfu= l? If it was a Pentecostal, he would have jumped over all the pews. They literally c= uff you, you know? We had a Pentecostal spirit here operating one time (a visit= or). He walked down from the pulpit, slapped one brother on his leg, trying to m= ake him behave in a fanatical way “because if you don’t, you don’t have the Spirit.” Do you see that he amounted to nothing? Heard the true Word of God but could not accept an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Now that is the spirit that dominates Pentecostalism.<o:p></o:p></s= pan> <o:p> </o:p> Quote W.M.B.: 95 How can the initial evidence be speaking in tongues and then talk contrary to a promise= of God in this hour? How can it be? (Anointed Ones At End Time 65-0725m).<o:p></o:p></span= > <o:p> </o:p> <o:p> </o:p> The great miracle = of Pentecost – Hearing, not tongues= <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Now you see, we have to defeat this foundation that the 1906 baptism= is built upon. The great miracle was not the tongues. The great miracle was th= e hearing; not the tongue but the ear. And= that goes along exactly with what the Bible said, “He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches.” <o:p></o= :p> Acts 2:5-7 <And there= were dwelling at <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Jerusalem</st1:Cit= y></st1:place> Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. <o:p></o:p></spa= n> Now when this was noised abro= ad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man </= span>heard them speak in his own language. <o:p></o:p><= /p> And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?> <o:p></o:p> Brethren, these men from the = Upper Room came down and were speaking in the Galilean language. And the men that= were hearing were from all different nations, and all different tongues and all different languages. They were amazed, the Bible said, “because they = knew that these men were from <st1:place w:st=3D"on">Galilee</st1:place> and the= y were speaking Galilean but every man was hearing in his own tongue.”<= /span> So the miracle was not the tongue. The miracle was the e= ar hearing in their own language; and we heard nothing of that in 1906. If that was the true Ar= ticle, then they would have something like that.&= nbsp; <o:p></o:p> The Bible said, “There were men from every nation under heaven.” God had those men there for a purpose. Look how the Lord pla= ns His business! At another occasion, all those nations would not be there but= the Lord chose the Day of Pentecost, which was the Jewish feast of the ingather= ing of the first fruits, which caused all those people to gather because of the Jewish feast. In that same Jewish feast, the Lo= rd knowing that all those people were going to be there, He outpoured His Spirit. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> When those peop= le started making noise in the Upper Room, they wanted = to know, “What is going on here? This place was so quiet. What it is going on here?” A= nd the little sisters ran down from that Upper Room with their hair flowing in the back and were just speaking in tongues and prophesying. Another one passed = down this way; another one passed there and started to prophesy and speak in tongues. So they were amazed. Amazed! <o:p></o:p> The men were all Galileans. They were identified as Galileans. And it amazed these men. They said, “But wait a minute. I know that fellow, he is a Galilean. I know that fellow, he is a Galilean. That’s a Galilean too. That’s a Galilean. And what they are speaking is the language of the Galileans. But = wait a minute, why are you hearing Arabic? Why are you hearing German? Why are you hearing English? You heard what he said, Mister, fr= om <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Ethiopia</st1:country-region></= st1:place>?” He replied, “Yes, I heard it in the African language and they are magnifying and praising God and telling us what happened here.” So th= ey were amazed. <o:p></o:p></spa= n> One stupid fellow= said, “These men are drunk. These men are drunk!” And you know Peter = had a defense at that time. He said, “Listen to me, don’t think that these fellows are drunk, seeing it is but about <st1:time Hour=3D"9" Minute= =3D"0" w:st=3D"on">nine o’clock</st1:time> in the morning here now.” P= eople never used to drink rum until <st1:time Hour=3D"9" Minute=3D"0" w:st=3D"on"= >nine o’clock</st1:time>! Yes. </sp= an>But today they drink the whole night. And that is their breakfast in the morning before the cock crows. So we cannot use that defense. No, sir! Peter had a defense. He said, “Listen, seeing it is about the third hour of the d= ay, these men are not drunk.” That’s the proof of it. But the world has become so sinful= , so much under stress until they start drinking before the cock crows. <o:p></o:p> So the miracle of Pentecost was not the tongues. The miracle of Pentecost was hearing in their own language wherein they were born. Now that same mi= racle will return. I am telling you, friends, who are waiting for this outpouring, you don’t have to go and study languages upon languages to preach the Gospel. No, sir. The Lord is going to gift this end time Bride so that the = brothers will speak in English and people will understand in every language. The Lor= d is going to raise up ministers that speak their language and I will hear them = in my language and my tongue. Isn’t that a wonderful thing that is coming? I just believe the thing. Now that saves us= a lot of studies. My, I tell you. To go and learn languages= in order to preach the Gospel! That’s enough to break my tongue! <o:p></o:p> The miracle of Pentecost was hearing and not the tongue. And 1906 Pentecostals missed the = mark by a million miles. No sound from heaven, no rushing mighty w= ind, no Word of God, no Rock revelation, no foundation of the apostles and proph= ets. All that they had was a tongue and they ran out with the tongue. <o:p></o:p> So, what about th= is tongue now? The least of the gifts is the tongues and it can be spoken by m= en and angels and yet, the people may not have the Holy Ghost. This is clearly stated in I Corinthians the thirteenth chapter. Paul said, <o:p></o:p> I Corinthians 13:1 <Though I speak with the tongues = of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.><o:p></o:p> So right there, t= he Scripture condemns</spa= n> tongues as the evidence of anything! So Brother Paul said that he, himself could speak with tongues of both men and angels. When these Pentecostals got trapped with the tongues evidence they said, “The tongues evidence is the unknown tong= ues, not the known tongues. It’s the unknown tongue.” That is even a lie because Brother= Paul condemned both. He said, <o:p= ></o:p> I Corinthians 13:1 <Though I speak with the tongues = of men…> That’s known languages. <… and of angels…> Unknown tongues. <…and have not charity...> Charity is what they had on the day of Pentecost. So that Scripture is proving that you can speak with tongues of any kind and still = not have the original baptism of the Holy Ghost like the day of Pentecost. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote W.M.B.: 35 = Now, many of my most precious people, I've told you I'm Pentecost. Now, most of = my people believe that when they receive the Holy Ghost they just get up and s= peak in an unknown tongue. That's exactly contrary to the Scripture--then the pe= ople don't know what they're saying. But on the day of Pentecost, every one knew what they were saying; that was a going forth to every nation…<o:p></= o:p> And then, we find out that in the 13th chapter, he said, "Though I speak with tongues of men (That's dialects of the earth.) or= of Angels--though I speak with tongues of men or of Angels and have not charit= y, I'm nothing." So you could speak with both genuine tongues of men and Angels, and still you haven't got the Holy Ghost. (Identified With Christ 59-1220e).<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:= p> That is why the p= rophet of God has it on the top of the pyramid (Stature of a Perfect Man) over here. Love—Charity. I could speak in tongues and you could speak in tongues and yet not have the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The prophet of God contended with them throughout his ministry. So it is possible that you= and I could speak in all kinds of tongues and even “emotional” tong= ues and “made up” tongues and prove that we have the baptism of the Holy Ghost. <o:p></o:p></span= > I tell you, the t= ongues confusion is a terrible thing. Those who could not speak in tongues started pretending. They went out and learned a little piece of foreign language so the people would not think that they are unspiritual. T= hey came there and started uttering that to make people think that they are spiritua= l. Then most of these tongues that the ministers speak follow one pattern. It’s one or two verses, or two lines and then the people catch that a= nd everybody speaks the tongues of the pastor while living in adultery, fornication, wearing high heel shoes, dressing like Sodom and Gomorrah, liv= ing like Sodom and Gomorrah. But as long as they speak in tongues, man, I tell = you, “they are going in the rapture!” Yes, they are going in the rapture, as far as their doctrine is concerned. They believe that. They believe that with= all their hearts that they are going in the rapture. As long as they speak in tongues, they have</spa= n> what they had on= the day of Pentecost! So you see = how that spirit is following up? = One hundred years of Pentecostalism.<o:p></o:p> Tongues is the le= ast of gifts and that should be settled in every person’s mind who follows this message. And all under the sound of my voice, wherever this tape goes, wherever this book goes, it ought to be a settled issue that a man could speak with tongues of men and angels and sti= ll lack the true baptism of the Holy Ghost, lack Charity, lack the Capstone, because Charity is the Capstone. That is a settled issue here and the proph= et of God could be quoted many places. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote W.M.B.: E-2= 8 Now, see, tongues is not the Holy Ghost. (God In Simplici= ty 63-0317m).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> <= /i>We are still defe= ating the foundation of 1906. When the apostles had that outpouring on the day of Pentecost, they had perfect unity. It started off with one heart, and one accord. John did not lock out James; Peter di= d not lock out John as Parham was by <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on"= >Seymour</st1:City></st1:place>. No, they had unity. Peter was not charged with homosexuality. No, brethren. Neither was any one of them, James or John, a racist at that time. They were speaking to people of all nations, and all tongues and all languages. Paul = went to preach to the whole Roman community: all kind of people. Look at Philip going down there to speak to that fellow from <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:c= ountry-region w:st=3D"on">Ethiopia</st1:country-region></st1:place>. Look at the harmony= that existed because of the Holy Spirit. Isn’t that wonderful? None of the= se men had sin in their lives. <= o:p></o:p> But there was a m= an full of hatred and malice and that was Judas; he had not gone up to Pentecost. If Judas had gone up to Pentecos= t, he would not have those things in him but those things in him kept him away from the original Article of Pentecost. Judas was full of hatred; he was fu= ll of malice; he was full of murder. He was a make-believer. Pentecostalism abounds with s= uch qualities. They never made it up to Pentecost. = <o:p></o:p> Now, another thin= g that defeated 1906 foundation was divisions. Divisions. The amount of divisions proves that they never did ma= ke it up to Pentecost because it started off with divisions right at the very revival at <st1:Street w:st=3D"on"><st1:address w:st=3D"on">312 Azusa Stree= t</st1:address></st1:Street>. Men came down there to get the anointing and go back and make an organizati= on. They came from all parts of the world to just get that outpouring, run back, and open up their own organization. Division was a great mark of the 1906 revival. <o:p></o:p></= p> And then our bret= hren from this message depen= d upon that article to carry them in the rapt= ure! How dumb that is! I believe it was an anointing of the Lord. I believe it w= as an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I believe it was the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to term it a little better, “a baptism of the Holy Spirit.” 1906, I believe, was a genuine anointin= g. The prophet of God recognized it. The prophet of God celebrated it. The pro= phet of God called it “the baptism of the Holy Ghost.” <o:p></o:p> But our question = is: was it the true Article of Pentecost? I say, “No!” Can it </spa= n>qualify you for the rapture? No! It is impossible!= The 1906 baptism cannot carry you away in the rapture. Then we need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We come right back to our main message, “We will have the Token or perish.” The divisions that they had in 1906 proved that they never did make it up to Pentecost but that they fell short= of the Pentecostal Power. Pentecost was not divided. The very Scriptures say t= hey had one heart and one accord. </span= ><o:p></o:p> Take a little bre= ath and hear this now. And if you who read this book cannot comprehend when I s= end this out, or those of you who may be listening in, hear this, friends. The = very fact of all the divisions amongst the ministers in 1906 shows that the </sp= an>five-fold ministry was not set in order. Everybody should understand that. Why was Parham fighting <st1:place w:st= =3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Seymour</st1:City></st1:place>? Why were all those other minis= ters seeking their own, to come and get the outpouring and run back to their own community and overseas, go up to Canada, go up to Norway and go down into Africa with that anointing, not knowing who they were? <o:p></o:= p> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote </= span>W.M.B.: E-= 17 …in my world travels, I've found two different classes of people: One= of them is the fundamentals, the group that I come out of: Baptists. Positiona= lly, they know where they are, but they haven't got much faith with it. And then= the other is Pentecostals. They got a lot of faith, but don't know who they are= . (Divine Love And Sovereign Grace 56-0814).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Because the five-= fold ministry of Ephesians 4:11-15 was not set in order. Pentecostals have faith= but do not know who they are. Tha= t is the reason for the division.<o:p></o:p> I hope you’= re thinking of another thing. This proves that it was not what the one hundred= and twenty received. They were set in order and the office gifts were set in order on the day of Pentecost. Although the apostles were guessing who was the greatest, who was going to = be the greatest in the Kingdom before the Article of Pentecost, they had no questions after that. After that, we could hear the epistles saying, “Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ;” and we hear Paul say, “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ;” and we hear Jude saying, “Jude, the servant of God.”&nb= sp; Everybody was set in order. And the order was so great after that, t= hey chose out seven deacons, “full of the Holy Ghost,” to serve tab= les. So many people had the Article of Pentecost that they cho= se out seven men to share out food and clothing because of the murmuring of the Grecian women. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> I tell people that after the Token, we will still have people murmuring. Yes. And to settle the issue, they chose seven deacons to share out food and clothing. One deacon = was so full of the Holy Ghost and apt to teach, named Stephen. He went down the= re and confounded all the Sadducees, and all the scribes and all the great men. The Bible said, “They could not withstand him because of the wisdom by which he spoke.” Then h= e died as a martyr for the Lord. All these great men. Oh my, Philip that met the Ethiopi= an was one of the seven. He was one of them. And an angel too= k him up and carried him away from the presence of the Ethiopian. <o:p></o:p> You talk about Holy Ghost </s= pan>activities! We are going to see that = again. I <o:p></o:p> believe that. It is going to be here—= God is the same God. If there’s going to be a restoration, “the glo= ry of the latter house shall be greater than the former house.” <o:p></o:p> Haggai 2:9: <The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts…><o:p></o:p></= span> <o:p> </o:p>= <o:p> </o:p>= Reason= for divisions amongst message believers<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= That’s when they put up the Old Testam= ent temple for the coming of our Lord Jesus, they proclaimed those words. And we will see that. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> The reason for al= l the divisions of 1906 is because the five-fold ministry was not set in order. T= he outpouring of the Holy Spirit did set the five-fold ministry in order on the day of Pentecost. That is what the outpouring is coming for today. It is co= ming to adopt the sons of God, manifest the sons of God, and set the church in order. That is what it is coming for—to set the House of God in order= one more time. <o:p></o:p>= Now, friends, let= me put this in right here. If that caused the division in 1906, and the bicker= ing, and the biting, and the fussing, and men going to open up their own churches and their own assemblies around the world, from the east, to the west, to t= he Congo, to Ethiopia, coming down to Canada, going through England; and none = of them were agreeing on doctrines because the five-fold ministry was not set = in order yet, I am saying right here, today, to the followers of Malachi 4, </= span>the reason that there are divisions amongst the people that follow the message is that <s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weig= ht: bold'>the five-fold ministry is not yet set in order. <s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weig= ht: bold'>And if the five-fold ministry is not yet set in order, <s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weig= ht: bold'>you did not go back to Pentecost. You do not have the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. All that you did was to accept a prophet. All that you did was to accept a message, but you are based upon the same ar= ticle of 1906. And you have the same divisions, just like the Pentecostals. You are more badly divided than so-called Pentecost of 1906. Now, let somebody challenge that. t is a total impossibility to chal= lenge what I say there. <o:p></o:p> If the five-fold ministry was not set in order in 1906 and it caused such divisions amongst = the Pentecostals (And that proves that they did not go back to Pentecost) then, friends, it is the same thing amongst the followers of Malachi 4. They have more divisions than so-called Pentecost. Therefore, that proves that the five-fold ministry is not yet set in order; and if the five-fold ministry is not set in order, we need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. If some unbeliever would deny that the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit has not yet co= me I want them to tell me wh= en did th= e Outpouring of the Holy Spirit ever came after 1906. Come and tell me when the original outpouring ever came. Did it come = with Brother Branham or is it yet to come? He said that it is yet to come. So whom do they want us to believe= ? We are going to believe the prophet. If it did not come, then the followers of Malachi 4 are based upon the 1906 outpouring. They cannot go in the rapture with that. It is a total impossibility. They cannot go in the rapture. <o:p></o:p> The 1906 revival = was flooded with evil spirits. All kinds of evil spirits came in there, down to= the magicians and the soothsayers, witchdoctors, religionists, philosophers and unbelievers, who were proud and ambitious men. We had a lot of “joiners.” Now if that was Pentecost, we would have another “Ananias and Sapphira showdown.” The prophet of God said:<o:p><= /o:p> <o:p></o:p> CHURCH FILLED WITH HOLY GHOST – ANANIAS AND SAPPHIRA<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p></s= pan> Quote W.M.B.: 240= If = a real church was ordained of God, really filled with the Holy Spirit, if sin would appear in the church, it'd be another like Ananias and Sapphira.= (Perseverance 62-0218). <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Acts <st1:time Minute=3D"13" Hour=3D"17" w:st=3D"on">5:= 13</st1:time>-14 <And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magni= fied them. <o:p></o:p> And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitud= es both of men and women.><o:p></o:p> So now here we ar= e. Ananias and Sapphira were liars and they died under the Power of God. After that, fear struck the hearts of men and women that nobody joined. But here,= the 1906 revival brought people from all parts of the world, sodomites included, adulterers, fornicators, magicians and everything. Look at the difference with 1906, all those magicians came= in there. Look at the difference when a magician came to the revival that took place on the day of Pentecost. He was Simon the Sorcerer. He tried to make = his way into the Church by a baptism in water. Philip got him baptized but there was a man with the keys to the Kingdom who came down from <st1:place w:st= =3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Jerusalem</st1:City></st1:place> to give out the baptism of th= e Holy Spirit and he exposed Simon the Sorcerer.&= nbsp; <o:p></o:p> Now, if 1906 was original Pentecost, those magicians and all those evil spirits could not flood the revival. No. And they said that th= at was the greatest opposition to Brother William Seymour. Those people that c= ame in there were the greatest opposition. But it was not any great opposition = to Peter, the man with the keys to the Kingdom. (I don’t know if Simon t= he Sorcerer was even saved because Brother Peter said, “Peradventure that the Lord grant you repentance.”)&nbs= p; <o:p></o:p> So the 1906 Bapti= sm and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was a genuine anointing, but I proclaim h= ere that it was not the return of Pentecost. Pentecost was not organized. And they built an organization with the 1= 906 revival. <o:p></o:p></= p> Now the 1906 “baptism,”= I am calling it; (Brother Branham called it the “baptism of the Holy Ghost;” he called it “outpouring of the Holy Spirit.”) It= was a revival. I am proclaiming that it was a genuine outpouring of the Spirit,= in a measure. <o:p></o:p>= Ezekiel 47:1-5 <Afterward he brought me again unto t= he door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold = of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, a= nd the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the so= uth side of the altar.<o:p></o:p> Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me <o:p></o:p> abo= ut the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, beho= ld, there ran out waters on the right side.<o:p></o:p> And when the man that had the line in his hand went for= th eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the wa= ters were to the ankles.<o:p></o:p> Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and bro= ught me through; the waters were to the loins.<o:p></o:p> Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river th= at I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river = that could not be passed over.><o:p></o:p> The last measure = was a river that could not be passed over. That’s the measure that you and I are looking for. But 1906 was a measure of the Spirit of God, genuine measure. God allowed i= t by His permissive<s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal'> Will but it was = not a return of Pentecost. <o:p></o= :p> When the <st1:Str= eet w:st=3D"on"><st1:address w:st=3D"on">Azusa Street</st1:address></st1:Street> revival died, God sent other great men and kept on pouring out His Spirit. = We will get into a little history here, which you will enjoy. You will see the roots of some of these organizations. The <st1:Street w:st=3D"on"><st1:address w:st=3D"on">Azusa street</s= t1:address></st1:Street> revival died in about three years. The prophet of God said, <o:p></o:p></sp= an> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote W.M.B.:<s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal'> 111 According to history, no revival ever lasted over three years. (God Who Is Rich= In Mercy 65-0119).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Revivals and outpo= urings after 1906<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= The <st1:Street w:= st=3D"on"><st1:address w:st=3D"on">Azusa Street</st1:address></st1:Street> revival was not the </= span>only revival of the twentieth century. People don’t realize t= hat. There were many revivals and there were many outpourings of the 1906 articl= e in various places. There were many baptisms that took place in that era right = up to the time of the prophet, but there is a final baptism. McAlister= .</= span> Then we had anot= her man called R.E. McAlister, and he arose in 1913. Here you will find some roots. = This man started a doctrine of the “Oneness” and “Jesus only.” He had a little more truth t= han the other people and he said that God is not a trinity. That’s the fi= rst time this is coming to light, but then he had the doctrine crisscrossed. He wanted to believe in “oneness” so much that he made the flesh of Jesus and the Spirit one. So they start calling them “Jesus Only,R= 21; one spirit. <o:p></o:p></span= > Now, in Brother Branham’s messages, you hear him referring to the = 220;Oneness= 221; or the “Jesus Only”. Brother Branham was sometimes associated w= ith them in his evangelical campaigns. Many started saying that Brother Branham= was a “= One= ness” and a “Jesus Only.” He denied that because this man’s doctrine was= not altogether right. McAlister made the oneness doctrine in such a way that he made Jesus, the flesh, “God,” one single Person, forgetting the Spirit. He just wanted to make Jesus His own Father. We are coming up the one hundred years of Pentecostalism. We have a man called Haywood. And he said, “You know what? I have a church called Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. It’= ll pass every one of you. We are Pentecostal of the World.” So that went= on.<o:p></o:p> William Durham. Then another man= arose whose name was William <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Durham<= /st1:City></st1:place>. And a new outpouring struck during that time of William Durham. He preached= the “finished work.” He went a little higher in doctrine and started preaching about predestination and eternal security and started talking abo= ut the finished work of <st1:place w:st=3D"on">Calvary</st1:place>. One of the most popular televangel= ists in our modern time, at the celebration of 100 years of Pentecostalism, is t= he man called Benny Hinn</= span>. They did not re= cord him here, for some reason. And they did not record T. L. Osborn; they did not record Tommy Hicks and other popular men that were preaching in the time of the prophet. <o:p></o:p> We come right dow= n the list to show you how these revivals continued from 1906. These things will = mean very much to our brethren in the message and on the field. I am trying with= my whole heart to convince them that they cannot rely on that 1906 experience to go in the rapture. No, they cannot do t= hat but we definitely need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit.<o:p></o:p></s= pan> That anointing of= the Lord continued from 1906 and, ever so often, the Lord just poured out a lit= tle bit of His Spirit again and kept raising up certain men until the time of William Branham in 1933. There is no recorded history from 1906 to 196= 5, and even up to 2006, there is no recorded history of another return of Pentecost. It is yet to come. We are not falsely led, friends. We are grateful to the Lord and m= ore than thankful for each one of you brethren and the saints of God that are listening in. I believe <st1:City w:st=3D"on">Bethel</st1:City> is on tonig= ht and we send greeting from G.C.C. to each one of you in the <st1:place w:st=3D"o= n">Caribbean</st1:place>. The title of the message is, “Pentecostalism – One Hundred Year= s: Built Upon Tongues But Not The Rock.” <o:p></o:p> I b= elieve that we already proved that but we will continue to disarm Pentecostalism, which arose in 1906, again. If the Lord be willing, we will continue. There is so much, I doubt that I could finish but whatever we are laying in, we want to lay it in very strong. <o:p></o:p> We = are endeavoring by these messages to prove that the Outpouring of the Holy Spir= it in 1906 w= as not the return of Pentecost. It was not the original Baptism of the Holy Ghost that= the apostles received. We have chosen to deal with this subject because the religious world today is celebrating one hundred years of Pentecostalism and they are boldly proclaiming around the world that Pentecost did return in 1= 906. We are here to refute that. We are gathered together to make their claims v= oid, to prove by the Word of God that it is the biggest lie of the twentieth century. The biggest lie of the twentieth century is that Pentecost returne= d in 1906. It is a lie.<o:p></o:p>= <o:= p> </o:p> <o:= p> </o:p> Message believers received baptism from 1906<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Now,= many of our brethren that follow the message of Malachi 4:5 around the world hav= e joined in this celebration: to celebrate the return of Pentecost in 1906, because better than ninety-nine percent, I will presume, believe that Pentecost did return in 1906. On account of that, they received their Pentecost, received their baptism in organizations. <o:p></o:p> As a result of receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost that was poured out in 19= 06, they were able to hear the message; they recognized the prophet and came ou= t of Pentecostalism—that’s the doctrine. So they claim that if they = did not have the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit like the day of Pentecost, whi= ch returned in 1906, they could not have heard the message and come out of organization. They contend that the Holy Spirit had to be abiding in them in order to receive the message of the hour. So then, receiving Brother Branham’s message, receiving him as a prophet and believing all that = he said is the evidence of the Holy Ghost like they received on the day of Pentecost. That is the popular doctrine around the world. <o:p></o:p></= p> A l= ittle strange thing here that we will pick up a little later is that after fifty years of Pentecostalism, the prophet of God, William Branham, joined in with all the Pentecostals and celebrated the fiftieth anniversary and called it “the Pentecostal Jubilee.” He has a message entitled ‘<st1:City w:st=3D"on">Azusa</st= 1:City> Jubilee,’ 56-0916, <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">L= os Angeles</st1:City></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> So, throughout his ministry, he, himself called 1906 “the Baptism of the = Holy Spirit” and celebrated with them. I believe, if Brother Branham was h= ere, he would probably celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of the baptism of= the Holy Ghost in 1906. How can you go back amongst the Pentecostals and not he= lp them celebrate this great event of 1906? Brother Branham was a man of wisdo= m, knowledge and understanding. He, himself celebrated that and he called it &= #8220;the baptism of the Holy Ghost.” I also would call it “the baptism of the Holy Ghost” and continue to call it the “baptism of the Holy Spirit,” but we will divide the lines as we go along. <o:p></o:p></sp= an> <o:= p> </o:p> <o:= p> </o:p> Pentecost – come to the rock revelation<o:p></o:p> <o:= p> </o:p> But tonight, we will major upon the fact of Pentecostalism being built on </spa= n>tongues bu= t not the Rock. So now, the Rock is our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God. In th= ese two Scriptures that I read here from Ephesians 2:18-20, the Bible said that= the Church or the temple of God is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets and Jesus Christ is tying this thing together as the chief Cornerstone. That is one Scripture.<o:p></o:p> Ove= r in the book of Matthew 16:18, it is recorded here that the Church is built upon the revelation, the Rock revelation of the Son of Man. So without a shadow = of a doubt, before there is a Church for Jesus Christ, there must be a Rock. The= Rock is= a revelation of the Son of Man and the Church is built upon the foundation of= the apostles and prophets. If they claim that we had a return of Pentecost in 1= 906, there is only one thing that Pentecost (the baptism of the Holy Spirit, original Pentecost) would ever come to and that is the Rock revelation of t= he Son of Man. It would only recognize the foundation of the apostles and prophets. <o:p></o:p> Now= , that alone has disarmed the claims of 1906, because I have proven in my last mes= sage that their foundation was not the right foundation and they were unprepared= for that great Artic= le of Pentecost. I am trying to make things so simple that everybody could understand. <o:p></o:p> I am hurrying to get this out before the end of 2006 because we also want to celebrate one hundred years = of Pentecostalism. This is our input into the celebration of Pentecostalism—to tell the truth of what they really had in 1906, the true foundation of the Church. (This is not strange to you; you are a well advised people since 1967. These things are not very new to you) but the <s= t1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:Place= Name w:st=3D"on">God</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> is built upon only one Rock an= d that is the Rock revelation of the Son of Man, the foundation of the apostles and prophets. They, themselves, established that Rock that they were built upon, which is a revelation of the Son of Man. It is not a strange rock, neither = is it two rocks; it is one Rock and anyone that the true outpouring will come = upon must have that Rock. Now that is the Church as a whole. If you, as an individual, are to receive this outpouring of the Holy Spirit, you must have that Rock within your soul. That is very simple. Right? That would not come upon a Trinitarian dogma. No, it will come upon the Rock revelation of Jesus Christ. <o:p></o:p> Now you and I must be strivin= g to make sure that it is within our souls and that is a revelation of the Son of Man, revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, revelation of His Word. That is t= he only way we will receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. If you have a revelation, it is a total impossibility for you not to receive the outpouri= ng of the Spirit. I believe that is eternal security. You might have your ups;= you might have your downs or you might have to settle a lot of disputes sometim= es; but the fact is that you have that Rock revelation. <o:p></o:p> Peter had that Rock within hi= s soul when he confessed Christ but he was a man of many faults. He even chopped o= ff one fellow’s ear. (I’m not telling you to go and chop off anybody’s ears now) but he chopped off a fellow’s ear and then = he got so worked up and so scared that he even cursed and swore. Then afterwar= d, the Lord called him, and in addition to having given him the keys, he told = him, “When thou art converted, feed my sheep. You are not yet converted that is why you behaved like that. So when thou art converted, feed my sheep and don’t forget the little ones now, also f= eed my lambs.” <o:p></o:p><= /span> That is what I am trying to d= o here tonight. Not only feed the sheep but also to feed the lambs, wherever they = are. They can only chew so much. They cannot eat hard grass yet. But you are old sheep and sometimes you get tired of the soft grass and the mother’s = milk but you have to bear patience as we go along because I am trying to comb th= is thing here with a fine-teeth comb that the people on the outside there (when this goes on the internet and when it goes into a book and the tapes are set up) that they should not have any questions. <o:p></o:p> So, I am trying again to prov= e that 1906 did not have a return of Pentecost or the original baptism of the Holy Spirit like the day of Pentecost. It is a total impossibility according to = the Scripture; a total impossibility according to the written Word of God for t= hem to have had the return of Pentecost in the condition that they were in. This is proven by their own histor= ies. <o:p></o:p> Now the reference to the Pentecostal history was taken from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. You wi= ll get all that information in there and it will refer you to many books from whence they gleaned their historical facts. Now these historical facts are = on that tape from yesterday. It is not my idea or not something hatched up to = run down Pentecostalism but this is their own testimony and I am just using it. From their own testimony, we examined their foundation. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> <o:p> </o:p> 1906 - reformation= not restoration<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> I </span= >will brief you on that. First= of all, they came out of the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on"= >Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>, and it was = a time of Reformation. A time of Reformation coming from Luther, coming out of the Dark Ages and they started to reform the church that was almost destroyed b= y <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Rome</st1:City></st1:place>. For one thou= sand years, it was destroyed by <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Rom= e</st1:City></st1:place> and only a stump was left. The prophet of God preached a message called, ‘Restoration of Bride Tree,̵= 7; (<st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Jeffersonville</st1:City></st= 1:place>, 62-0422). <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Quote W.M.B.: 75-2 God said, "I will restore It."… four death messengers killed It; then four Life messengers will restore It. What was the first? Martin Luther, justification. What was the second? John Wesley--by sanctification. What was the third? Pentecost with the restoration of the gifts, the Holy Ghost, bap= tism of the Holy Ghost. What was the fourth? The Word…Malachi 4, Elijah is= to come with the very Word. <o:p></o:p> The Word of the Lord came to the prophet. In the evening Lights is = to come forth to restore and bring back. What? Turn the hearts of the children back to the faith of the fathers (Restoration Of Bride Tree 62-0422).<o:p></o:p><= /p> <o:p> </o:p> Quote: E-66 …when He returns = He will find the same church. What the palmerworm left the caterpillar eaten; what = the caterpillar left the locust eaten; on down to the cankerworm. But God said.= .. "I will restore," saith God.<o:p></o:p> Romanism, and so forth, eat that beautiful bride tree of Christ down till it become a stump. But God brought right back out of that stump, right= up through the Lutheran age, right up through the Wesley age, through the Pentecostal age. And now it's in the evening Light. "I will restore, s= aith the Lord, all the years that the cankerworm, caterpillar... I will restore again that church in her beauty, that church in her power= ." (Be Not Afraid 62-0620).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> The very reason that there is supposed to be a restoration is because the Church was almost completely destroyed by the antichrist and <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on= ">Rome</st1:City></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> So, Luther coming out of the = Dark Ages, brought over the Trinitarian baptism, Trinitarian doctrines and all t= hose dogmas and creeds. Many of them are from the Catholic Church. Then a little while after that, the Methodists came out of the Lutherans. When they came = out, they brought over the same Trinitarian doctrine and many of their heresies.= So now, if you notice the historical background of these men, Parham, Seymour,= and many others, they emerged from the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:= st=3D"on">Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. That gives = you a good picture of how people came out of the Dark Ages under Luther. From the Lutherans, out came the Methodist. From the Methodist, came forth Pentecost= als. It was an Age of Reformation= . <o:p></o:p> A very important point that I= might stress here is that, under Reformation was Luther and Wesley. Reformation w= as to continue under so-called Pentecostalism. Instead of calling that “Reformation,” they called it “Restoration.” <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> THE LUTHERAN, WESLEYAN & PENTECOSTAL AGE DID = NOT RESTORE THE CHURCH TO THE FULNESS OF PENTECOST<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </= o:p> Quote W.M.B.: 379-1 The peopl= e of God are being made ready by the Word of Truth from the messenger to this ag= e. In her will be the fulness of Pentecost for the Spirit will bring the people right back to where they were at the beginning. That is "Thus saith the Lord." … for that is what Joel 2:23-26 says… I will restor= e to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpill= ar, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you. <o:p></o:p></span= > …Now it says God is going to "restore". The Lutheran Age did not restore the church; it started a reformation. The Wesleyan Age = did not restore. The Pentecostal Age did not restore. But God has to restore fo= r He cannot deny His Word. This is not the resurrection of the Church; it is the "Restoration". God will take the Church right back to Pentecost of the beginning. Now notice in verse 25 it tells why we need restoration. The locust, cankerworm, caterpillar and palmerworm have eaten all but the root = and a small bit of the stem. (Resume Of The Ages - Church Age Book Cpt.10).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> That was the biggest mistake = that they ever made. They called it “Restoration”, and took it clear= ly from their minds the title of “Reformation”, because they belie= ved that they had returned to Pentecost. But that was also an age of Reformatio= n. They were to reform the church: take what the Lo= rd gave to them, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which was genuine. <o:p></o= :p> They should have sought the L= ord with all their hearts, looking for the restoration and the plan that God pu= t in place by prophecy in the Scripture to get that restoration. They jumped ahe= ad and they called it Restoration. They were based upon Acts 2:4 and Joel 2: 23-28. <o:p></o:p> Do you know that we are based= on the same Scriptures? Yes. Instead of making that mistake to think that we are restored now, we recognize the restoration of = the Word, by the prophet, William Branham, and we are looking for full Restorat= ion. So what they should have done in 1906, we are now doing that, one hundred y= ears after. We have to be the people</sp= an> of </spa= n>God. We had to be born for this outpouring of the Holy Spirit; otherwi= se we would make the same mistake that they made. We are waiting patiently for= the great Restoration. The Word was res= tored by William Branham, but the = great Article of Pentecost and the Church itself is not yet restored. We are wait= ing for that Restoration that Brother Branham preached about in ‘Restoration of Bride Tree’= ;. <o:p></o:p> And if it is restored, we mus= t of necessity have a Church like the day of Pentecost upon the earth and another book of Acts must be written. The prophet of God said that in so many words. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> ORIGINAL BRANCH – BOOK OF ACTS<o:p></o:p></= span> <o:p> </= o:p> Quote W.M.B.: E-82= </sp= an>These denominations has been grafted in. They're still bearing denominational fruit, membership, so forth. But when the Tree puts out orig= inal branch again, there'll be a book of Acts wrote behind It. We believe that there will be an original branch put forth, then that = will be the evidence that we have returned to Pentecost. Coming out of that, they were still Trinitarians. They= still baptized in Trinitarian baptism. They still had a lot of things from the <s= t1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:Place= Type w:st=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> and even borrowed some from= the Lutheran and the Catholic doctrines. They borrowed a lot of that stuff and brought them over. Now, this is the foundation of these fellows: Trinitaria= nism. The apostles never had that. No! And then their foundation was built on “Bible Schools.” = <o:p></o:p> The father of the whole thing, Parham, built Bible schools and when revival broke, he still built one. If = that was original Pentecost, the Holy Ghost would not allow him to do that. He w= as based upon theology. He was a theologian himself. Peter, James and John were not theologians. Paul was a theologian one time but he had to forget his theology. That is Scriptural order. <o:p></o:p> Philippians 3:8 <Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss = for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.><o:p></o:p> Then, you know what happened; Parham was charged for sodomy with little boys—the wrong foundation. = And then he was guilty of racism and became a full-fledged racist and supported= a Klan against the black people. He was responsible for divisions and then bu= ilt organizations and declared that speaking in other tongues is the <sp= an style=3D'font-size:10.0pt'>initial evidence</span= > of the Holy Ghost. That make= s up my subject right here. <o:p><= /o:p> This was the major heresy that started in 1906, even with that revival: tongues were the initial evidence = of the Holy Ghost. That is how they judged that Pentecost had returned. That is how they judged that they had what Peter, James and John had. That is how t= hey judged that Restoration had taken place, that Joel 2: 23-28 was now fulfill= ed and Acts 2:4 was repeated. They did that by these tongues. The Bible says, = it is the least of gifts. And they forget that the devil also speaks in tongue= s. How are you going to distinguish if the Holy Ghost is upon a man or if the devil is upon a man, because both of them speak in tongues? The Holy Ghost = does speak in tongues and we do believe in speaking in tongues.<o:p></o:p></span= > I Corinthians <st1:time Hour=3D"14" Minute=3D"39" w:st=3D"on">14:39= </st1:time> <Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.> <o:p></o:p> So we believe in tongues. We believe that it is a gift but we believe that it is the least of the gifts. But these men took it as the greatest gift. Look at t= hat! They took it as the greatest gift. The greatest gift was the tongues, accor= ding to their doctrine, and they made that the initial evidence of the Holy Ghos= t. That traveled for one hundred years. Up to today, they have women in pants, chopped off hair, living in adultery, fornication, wearing shorts, bringing= in <st1:City w:st=3D"on">Sodom</st1:City> and <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"o= n">Gomorrah</st1:City></st1:place> into the church, rock and roll music and nasty living of all kinds, includi= ng sodomy, right in the churches. They called themselves Pentecostals, based u= pon the lie that “Pentecost did return in 1906.” <o:p></o:p> There was a seed planted down= there but they had the wrong foundation</= span>. The foundation then, accord= ing to the history, was racism, Trinitarianism, <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceN= ame w:st=3D"on">Bible</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Schools</st1:= PlaceType></st1:place>, theology, immorality, divisions, organizations—but the greatest foundation was “tongues as the evidence of the Holy Ghost.” And that was the major heresy at that time. Now it does not matter what kind of= a life that they lived, these people are so deceived of the devil that they believe as long as they speak in tongues, they have the Holy Ghost and they= are prepared for the rapture. That is terrible deception! <o:p></o:p> Parham was called “The = Father of Modern Pentecostalism” but his life bears record of his evil natur= e. His own life bears record that he did not go back to Pentecost. If the Fath= er of Pentecost, had his foundation wrong and we can prove that he never did return to the real Pentecost, original Pentecost, what about his followers? Don’t forget that this man planted the seed in = our Brother Seymour and convinced him that the initial evidence of the Holy Gho= st is speaking in tongues. The whole thing has a certain foundation, which I l= aid out here. <o:p></o:p><= /p> Parham’s tongues founda= tion is a heresy. This is evident even by simple observation of how he came to t= hat conclusion. His students taught </s= pan>him. How shallow in the Word was Parham! His corrupt life blocked the spiritual channel for any revelation from God. Thus he relied upon the heretical conclusion of his Bible school students.<o:p></o:p> Now, according to Parham̵= 7;s own doctrine, which he taught, there is: justification, sanctification and = then comes the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now, that is correct and that is Bible doctrine. Brother Branham taught that doctrine, “Justification, Sanctification, baptism of the Holy Spirit.” Parham claimed to speak = in tongues and receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. But then he was not sanctified! Sanctification means, “cleansed from your evil habits, ev= il nature and then set aside for service by the true baptism of the Holy Spirit.” <o:p></o:p></s= pan> This man’s own doctrine defeated him because, first, you have to pass through justification, then be cleansed of sodomy, of racism, of pride, of division, of heresies, false doctrines, Bible schools and theology before you come up the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I am proving and announcing to the whole world that what the father of Pentecost received was not the true Art= icle of Pentecost. It was not the article of Pentecost and his own life proved it. <o:p></o:p> Then, if something is wrong w= ith the root, the whole tree is sick! Imagine that the root was sick way back in 1906, and even earlier than that, the branches are sick today and the fruits that they are bearing are sick. One hundred years! Imagine those kinds of knotty frui= ts on that tree throughout so-called Pentecost. Imagine that I have to pick up all these fruits that were born from 1906 and trace it right down to Benny Hinn today! Friends, it is the “cream of the crop” of so-called Pentecost that we have on the television and in the churches. That is the “cream of the crop” but I’ll tell you something, Jesus has the “Cream of the Crop” and He wi= ll show off the “Cream of the Crop” upon the earth here. <o:p></o:p> Taking this foundation of so-= called Pentecost 1906 and comparing it with the foundation of the fathers of origi= nal Pentecost, it cannot blend! A man has to be totally dishonest, he has got t= o be a hypocrite like Judas; he has to be a man that is not after eternal </span= >Life to think that Pentecost did return after he hears what I am saying here, because I have gone through the history and I am showing you the foundation of Parham, Father of Pentecost. I am reading from the Bible, Act= s 2, and I am citing here the whole book of Acts as my evidence to prove the foundation of the original fathers of Pentecost and it cannot fit. There is= no way upon the earth to fit the foundation of 1906 with the original foundati= on. And you must have this foundation in order to have the outpouring. We have = been laying this foundation for many decades and our foundation is strong. <o:p></o:p> I am calling the 1906 foundat= ion, “a foundation of sand.” And the foundation of the <st1:place w:= st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Apostolic</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Church</s= t1:PlaceType></st1:place> is built upon a Rock. Jesus spoke of that parable and there is a rain coming one of these days and the wind is going to blow (That’s the wind from= the World Council of Churches) and, beloved, the rain is going to come one of t= hese days. The Bible says it is going to beat upon both houses; “the rain falleth upon the just and upon the unjust.” And the one with the “Rock” is going to stand. But the one that is upon sand, Jesus said, “great was the fall of it.” <o:p></o:p> Matthew 7:24-27 <Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mi= ne, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upo= n a rock: <o:p></o:p> And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.<o:p>= </o:p> And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them no= t, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: <= o:p></o:p> And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.><o:p></= o:p> Now that is where it stands.1= 906 is a sand foundation. It i= s so wonderful! <o:p></o:p>= Now everything that is based = today upon the 1906 experience to go in the rapture is not going to go into the rapture. That is why all these teachings of our Lord are for the end time a= nd all these parables. Like the foolish and wise virgins; the man without the wedding garment; two shall be at the mill: one shall be taken, the other le= ft behind; there were those that was invited to a supper. Now you see how all those Scriptures fit in over there because they are the parables of the Kingdom, and the Kingdom is none other than the true Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. <o:p></o:p> If I start preaching on the f= oolish virgins it will take me another hour and if I put Pastor McGahee tomorrow, = he will preach for another two hours on the man without the wedding garment. A= nd if I get another fellow and put him up here to preach, he will start preach= ing about two grinding at the mill, two in the field, and two out here, one tak= en and the other left behind. <o= :p></o:p> I am asking the question, “Why?” I am giving you the answer right here in a nutshell. The reason is that people based their salvation on the 1906 experience and it cannot carry them in the rapture although they follow the message and they believe Brother Branham was a prophet. They cannot go in the rapture; it is= a total impossibility to go in the rapture under those conditions. <o:p></o:p> There are people building the= ir salvation today upon the original outpouring of the Holy Spirit like it was given on the day of Pentecost and they will go in the raptur= e and only them! Yes, sir! This is our contention! This was the contention of Wil= liam Branham; this was the contention of Robert Lambert, who sealed his testimony with his blood. This is the contention of all our ministers; this is the contention of all that now believe E.O.D.H. around the world. We believe it. <o:p></o:p> There are two groups today. O= ne believes in a great Outpouring of the Holy Spirit to come and there are oth= ers that don’t believe it. Everyone that does not believe in an Outpouring today is not in preparation for the rapture. <o:p></o:p> Just to brief you: the early fathers that went to the Upper Room with the hundred and twenty were all fi= lled with the Holy Ghost, a hundred and twenty, including sisters. John was about seventeen years of age. Teenagers went up there. <o:p></o:p> First of all, the foundation = of the early Church (the hundred and twenty): they were justified, sanctified and = then they received the Holy Spirit. They fulfilled the Scripture of Ezekiel 9: <= o:p></o:p> Ezekiel 9:3-4: <And the glory of the God of <st1:place w:st=3D"o= n"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Israel</st1:country-region></st1:place> was gone up from the c= herub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. The man with a writer’s inkhorn, dressed in white came down on the day of Pentecost = and set a mark upon them. The judgment was to start at the sanctuary, right in the temple. Th= ose people perished. Everyone who rejects this Outpouring of the Holy Spirit th= at we are speaking about is going through the tribulation and their judgments = will be even sorer that what <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Rome</= st1:City></st1:place> did to the Jews. Didn’t the prophet say, “You’ll receive = the Token or perish”? Then they recognized the Word that was revealed as the Son of Man. That was a solid foundation. They were sent to one place. A man had the keys to the kingdom. A m= an had been given the keys to the outpouring. They were sent to tarry in that = one, certain place until the great Power of God came upon them. Then they were t= o be witnesses around the world. That is God’s simple plan.<o:p></o:p></sp= an> Now, in 1906 was a different = kind of operation: they accepted tongues as the evidence of the Holy Spirit and history says nothing about a sound from heaven. It is not the initial evidence of the Holy Ghost; it is a sign. = It is the least of the gifts.<o:p></o:p> Another place that tongues we= re used was at the building of the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceType w:st= =3D"on">Tower</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Babel</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>. In 1906, = they started to build “a <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on"= >tower</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Babel</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>,” a = tower of confusion. Notice that when those tongues came at <st1:place w:st=3D"on"= ><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Babel</st1:City></st1:place>, it was time for division, a time= that the people were going to be scattered into different organizations, differe= nt family groups. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> That is exactly what happened= in 1906. So-called Pentecost came there and they took the tongues and ran and = they left the mighty rushing wind behind and they left the cloven tongues of fire behind. In other words, they took the tongue but they left the shoes behind= ! So they took that as the evidence of the Holy Spirit. There is not one Scriptu= re in the entire Bible that tells you that tongues are the evidence of the Holy Spirit. Not one Scripture. Don’t be afraid to say that. <o:p></o:p> I believe that these <= span style=3D'font-size:10.0pt'>messages will lay a foundation for many ministers in our own assemblies and around the world to fight that heresy of 1906. So we want to= lay these things to our hearts. We want to remember these things, how they are placed. It is going to be very important for the field one of these days, a= nd right now, it is going to prove to be very important.<o:p></o:p> “Tongues” is not = the evidence of the Holy Ghost. There is not one Scripture anywhere that said t= hat “when you speak in tongues it is the evidence of the Holy Spirit.R= 21; Where they draw this idea from is that there were some tongues on the day of Pentecost. The Bible said: <o= :p></o:p> Acts 2:4 <…and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.><o:p></o:p> But that was not the great mi= racle. Just now we will get into that. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and spake with tongues as t= he Spirit gave them utterance. Then they went over to another Scripture where = they received the Holy Spirit and they spoke in tongues again but the Bible said, “and they also prophesied.” There are two or three places in the Bible where it is recorded that they received the Holy Ghost and they spoke with tongues. <o:p></o:p></sp= an> Acts 2:4 <And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and bega= n to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.><o:p></o:p>= Acts <st1:time Hour=3D"10" Minute=3D"44" w:st=3D"on">10:44</st1:tim= e>-46 <While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. <o:p></o:p> And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as man= y as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift = of the Holy Ghost. <o:p></o:p> For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answe= red Peter.><o:p></o:p> Acts 19:6 <And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.><o:p></= o:p> Now the same Scripture could = have said, “And they received the Holy Ghost and they jumped over the house!” But that is not the evidence of the Holy Spirit! Now a man could receive the Holy S= pirit and run faster than Ahab’s horses, but everybody doesn’t have to run as fast as Ahab’s horses in order to prove that he has the Holy Spirit. One could open the <st1:place w:st=3D"on">Red Sea</st1:place> and o= ne could remove a mountain and the next fellow over here could do fantastic miracles. <o:p></o:p><= /p> So it was recorded in a few p= laces that when the Holy Ghost came upon them, they spoke with tongues and they prophesied. So now they tied that down as the evidence of the Holy Spirit. = That is not the evidence of the Holy Spirit. Why didn’t they pick out </sp= an>prophecy as the evidence of the Holy Ghost? Because their prophecies are lies. They could have said, “Prophecy is the evidence = of the Holy Spirit because they spake in tongues and prophesied, over in the nineteenth chapter of the Book of Acts.”<o:p></o:p> Acts 19:6 <And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.><o:p></= o:p> Now, to defeat them and to de= feat all their tongues evidence: how many believe that Jesus Christ received the greatest portion of the Holy Ghost and He rece= ived the Fullness of the Godhead bodily in Him; and how many believe that He received it at the banks of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st= =3D"on">Jordan</st1:country-region></st1:place>? Well, I am here to announce to the whole of the Pentecostalism world that <= /span>Jesus never spoke in tongues at the bank= s of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Jordan</st1:country-region></st= 1:place>.<o:p></o:p> Is so-called Pentecost tellin= g you and me that Jesus did not get the Holy Ghost? I am sure they can’t say that! They can’t say that because Jesus received the greatest measure= and He did not speak in tongues at the banks of the <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1= :country-region w:st=3D"on">Jordan</st1:country-region></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> Now, so-called Pentecost thin= ks that if a man has the Holy Ghost, he ought to run down the aisles and have a mike in his hand and bawl, “Hallelujah!” all the time and run around the church and come back—then he is under the Power of God. Lo= ok at how a man who had the greatest measure of the Spirit acted. After Jesus = came from the river <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Jorda= n</st1:country-region></st1:place>, the Bible said, <o:p></o:p> Luke 4:17-20 <And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, <o:p></o:p> The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, <o:p></o:p> To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, = and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down…><o:p></o:p>= Now isn’t that wonderfu= l? If it was a Pentecostal, he would have jumped over all the pews. They literally c= uff you, you know? We had a Pentecostal spirit here operating one time (a visit= or). He walked down from the pulpit, slapped one brother on his leg, trying to m= ake him behave in a fanatical way “because if you don’t, you don’t have the Spirit.” Do you see that he amounted to nothing? Heard the true Word of God but could not accept an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Now that is the spirit that dominates Pentecostalism.<o:p></o:p></s= pan> <o:p> </o:p> Quote W.M.B.: 95 How can the initial evidence be speaking in tongues and then talk contrary to a promise= of God in this hour? How can it be? (Anointed Ones At End Time 65-0725m).<o:p></o:p></span= > <o:p> </o:p> <o:p> </o:p> The great miracle = of Pentecost – Hearing, not tongues= <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Now you see, we have to defeat this foundation that the 1906 baptism= is built upon. The great miracle was not the tongues. The great miracle was th= e hearing; not the tongue but the ear. And= that goes along exactly with what the Bible said, “He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches.” <o:p></o= :p> Acts 2:5-7 <And there= were dwelling at <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Jerusalem</st1:Cit= y></st1:place> Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. <o:p></o:p></spa= n> Now when this was noised abro= ad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man </= span>heard them speak in his own language. <o:p></o:p><= /p> And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?> <o:p></o:p> Brethren, these men from the = Upper Room came down and were speaking in the Galilean language. And the men that= were hearing were from all different nations, and all different tongues and all different languages. They were amazed, the Bible said, “because they = knew that these men were from <st1:place w:st=3D"on">Galilee</st1:place> and the= y were speaking Galilean but every man was hearing in his own tongue.”<= /span> So the miracle was not the tongue. The miracle was the e= ar hearing in their own language; and we heard nothing of that in 1906. If that was the true Ar= ticle, then they would have something like that.&= nbsp; <o:p></o:p> The Bible said, “There were men from every nation under heaven.” God had those men there for a purpose. Look how the Lord pla= ns His business! At another occasion, all those nations would not be there but= the Lord chose the Day of Pentecost, which was the Jewish feast of the ingather= ing of the first fruits, which caused all those people to gather because of the Jewish feast. In that same Jewish feast, the Lo= rd knowing that all those people were going to be there, He outpoured His Spirit. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> When those peop= le started making noise in the Upper Room, they wanted = to know, “What is going on here? This place was so quiet. What it is going on here?” A= nd the little sisters ran down from that Upper Room with their hair flowing in the back and were just speaking in tongues and prophesying. Another one passed = down this way; another one passed there and started to prophesy and speak in tongues. So they were amazed. Amazed! <o:p></o:p> The men were all Galileans. They were identified as Galileans. And it amazed these men. They said, “But wait a minute. I know that fellow, he is a Galilean. I know that fellow, he is a Galilean. That’s a Galilean too. That’s a Galilean. And what they are speaking is the language of the Galileans. But = wait a minute, why are you hearing Arabic? Why are you hearing German? Why are you hearing English? You heard what he said, Mister, fr= om <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Ethiopia</st1:country-region></= st1:place>?” He replied, “Yes, I heard it in the African language and they are magnifying and praising God and telling us what happened here.” So th= ey were amazed. <o:p></o:p></spa= n> One stupid fellow= said, “These men are drunk. These men are drunk!” And you know Peter = had a defense at that time. He said, “Listen to me, don’t think that these fellows are drunk, seeing it is but about <st1:time Hour=3D"9" Minute= =3D"0" w:st=3D"on">nine o’clock</st1:time> in the morning here now.” P= eople never used to drink rum until <st1:time Hour=3D"9" Minute=3D"0" w:st=3D"on"= >nine o’clock</st1:time>! Yes. </sp= an>But today they drink the whole night. And that is their breakfast in the morning before the cock crows. So we cannot use that defense. No, sir! Peter had a defense. He said, “Listen, seeing it is about the third hour of the d= ay, these men are not drunk.” That’s the proof of it. But the world has become so sinful= , so much under stress until they start drinking before the cock crows. <o:p></o:p> So the miracle of Pentecost was not the tongues. The miracle of Pentecost was hearing in their own language wherein they were born. Now that same mi= racle will return. I am telling you, friends, who are waiting for this outpouring, you don’t have to go and study languages upon languages to preach the Gospel. No, sir. The Lord is going to gift this end time Bride so that the = brothers will speak in English and people will understand in every language. The Lor= d is going to raise up ministers that speak their language and I will hear them = in my language and my tongue. Isn’t that a wonderful thing that is coming? I just believe the thing. Now that saves us= a lot of studies. My, I tell you. To go and learn languages= in order to preach the Gospel! That’s enough to break my tongue! <o:p></o:p> The miracle of Pentecost was hearing and not the tongue. And 1906 Pentecostals missed the = mark by a million miles. No sound from heaven, no rushing mighty w= ind, no Word of God, no Rock revelation, no foundation of the apostles and proph= ets. All that they had was a tongue and they ran out with the tongue. <o:p></o:p> So, what about th= is tongue now? The least of the gifts is the tongues and it can be spoken by m= en and angels and yet, the people may not have the Holy Ghost. This is clearly stated in I Corinthians the thirteenth chapter. Paul said, <o:p></o:p> I Corinthians 13:1 <Though I speak with the tongues = of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.><o:p></o:p> So right there, t= he Scripture condemns</spa= n> tongues as the evidence of anything! So Brother Paul said that he, himself could speak with tongues of both men and angels. When these Pentecostals got trapped with the tongues evidence they said, “The tongues evidence is the unknown tong= ues, not the known tongues. It’s the unknown tongue.” That is even a lie because Brother= Paul condemned both. He said, <o:p= ></o:p> I Corinthians 13:1 <Though I speak with the tongues = of men…> That’s known languages. <… and of angels…> Unknown tongues. <…and have not charity...> Charity is what they had on the day of Pentecost. So that Scripture is proving that you can speak with tongues of any kind and still = not have the original baptism of the Holy Ghost like the day of Pentecost. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote W.M.B.: 35 = Now, many of my most precious people, I've told you I'm Pentecost. Now, most of = my people believe that when they receive the Holy Ghost they just get up and s= peak in an unknown tongue. That's exactly contrary to the Scripture--then the pe= ople don't know what they're saying. But on the day of Pentecost, every one knew what they were saying; that was a going forth to every nation…<o:p></= o:p> And then, we find out that in the 13th chapter, he said, "Though I speak with tongues of men (That's dialects of the earth.) or= of Angels--though I speak with tongues of men or of Angels and have not charit= y, I'm nothing." So you could speak with both genuine tongues of men and Angels, and still you haven't got the Holy Ghost. (Identified With Christ 59-1220e).<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:= p> That is why the p= rophet of God has it on the top of the pyramid (Stature of a Perfect Man) over here. Love—Charity. I could speak in tongues and you could speak in tongues and yet not have the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The prophet of God contended with them throughout his ministry. So it is possible that you= and I could speak in all kinds of tongues and even “emotional” tong= ues and “made up” tongues and prove that we have the baptism of the Holy Ghost. <o:p></o:p></span= > I tell you, the t= ongues confusion is a terrible thing. Those who could not speak in tongues started pretending. They went out and learned a little piece of foreign language so the people would not think that they are unspiritual. T= hey came there and started uttering that to make people think that they are spiritua= l. Then most of these tongues that the ministers speak follow one pattern. It’s one or two verses, or two lines and then the people catch that a= nd everybody speaks the tongues of the pastor while living in adultery, fornication, wearing high heel shoes, dressing like Sodom and Gomorrah, liv= ing like Sodom and Gomorrah. But as long as they speak in tongues, man, I tell = you, “they are going in the rapture!” Yes, they are going in the rapture, as far as their doctrine is concerned. They believe that. They believe that with= all their hearts that they are going in the rapture. As long as they speak in tongues, they have</spa= n> what they had on= the day of Pentecost! So you see = how that spirit is following up? = One hundred years of Pentecostalism.<o:p></o:p> Tongues is the le= ast of gifts and that should be settled in every person’s mind who follows this message. And all under the sound of my voice, wherever this tape goes, wherever this book goes, it ought to be a settled issue that a man could speak with tongues of men and angels and sti= ll lack the true baptism of the Holy Ghost, lack Charity, lack the Capstone, because Charity is the Capstone. That is a settled issue here and the proph= et of God could be quoted many places. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote W.M.B.: E-2= 8 Now, see, tongues is not the Holy Ghost. See? …I said, "Then he could speak with tongues, as you said, both of men and of Angels, and still not h= ave the Holy Ghost." I said, "'Cause Paul says, 'Though I speak (thou= gh I can speak) with tongues of man and of angels and have not charity, I'm noth= ing. Though I can understand all knowledge and can interpret the Scriptures exac= tly right, without this baptism, I'm nothing. (Stature Of A Perfect Man 62-1014m).<o:p></o:p>= <o:p> </o:p>= <= /i>Quote: 39-6 {247} And remember, you can speak in genuine Holy Ghost tongues and still n= ot have the Holy Ghost. The Bible said so. "Though I speak with tongue of= men and Angels and have not charity, it profit me nothing. I'm become as a soun= ding brass, and tinkling cymbal": I Corinthians 13. (God In Simplici= ty 63-0317m).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> <= /i>We are still defe= ating the foundation of 1906. When the apostles had that outpouring on the day of Pentecost, they had perfect unity. It started off with one heart, and one accord. John did not lock out James; Peter di= d not lock out John as Parham was by <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on"= >Seymour</st1:City></st1:place>. No, they had unity. Peter was not charged with homosexuality. No, brethren. Neither was any one of them, James or John, a racist at that time. They were speaking to people of all nations, and all tongues and all languages. Paul = went to preach to the whole Roman community: all kind of people. Look at Philip going down there to speak to that fellow from <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:c= ountry-region w:st=3D"on">Ethiopia</st1:country-region></st1:place>. Look at the harmony= that existed because of the Holy Spirit. Isn’t that wonderful? None of the= se men had sin in their lives. <= o:p></o:p> But there was a m= an full of hatred and malice and that was Judas; he had not gone up to Pentecost. If Judas had gone up to Pentecos= t, he would not have those things in him but those things in him kept him away from the original Article of Pentecost. Judas was full of hatred; he was fu= ll of malice; he was full of murder. He was a make-believer. Pentecostalism abounds with s= uch qualities. They never made it up to Pentecost. = <o:p></o:p> Now, another thin= g that defeated 1906 foundation was divisions. Divisions. The amount of divisions proves that they never did ma= ke it up to Pentecost because it started off with divisions right at the very revival at <st1:Street w:st=3D"on"><st1:address w:st=3D"on">312 Azusa Stree= t</st1:address></st1:Street>. Men came down there to get the anointing and go back and make an organizati= on. They came from all parts of the world to just get that outpouring, run back, and open up their own organization. Division was a great mark of the 1906 revival. <o:p></o:p></= p> And then our bret= hren from this message depen= d upon that article to carry them in the rapt= ure! How dumb that is! I believe it was an anointing of the Lord. I believe it w= as an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I believe it was the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to term it a little better, “a baptism of the Holy Spirit.” 1906, I believe, was a genuine anointin= g. The prophet of God recognized it. The prophet of God celebrated it. The pro= phet of God called it “the baptism of the Holy Ghost.” <o:p></o:p> But our question = is: was it the true Article of Pentecost? I say, “No!” Can it </spa= n>qualify you for the rapture? No! It is impossible!= The 1906 baptism cannot carry you away in the rapture. Then we need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We come right back to our main message, “We will have the Token or perish.” The divisions that they had in 1906 proved that they never did make it up to Pentecost but that they fell short= of the Pentecostal Power. Pentecost was not divided. The very Scriptures say t= hey had one heart and one accord. </span= ><o:p></o:p> Take a little bre= ath and hear this now. And if you who read this book cannot comprehend when I s= end this out, or those of you who may be listening in, hear this, friends. The = very fact of all the divisions amongst the ministers in 1906 shows that the </sp= an>five-fold ministry was not set in order. Everybody should understand that. Why was Parham fighting <st1:place w:st= =3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Seymour</st1:City></st1:place>? Why were all those other minis= ters seeking their own, to come and get the outpouring and run back to their own community and overseas, go up to Canada, go up to Norway and go down into Africa with that anointing, not knowing who they were? <o:p></o:= p> <o:p> </o:p>= Quote </= span>W.M.B.: E-= 17 …in my world travels, I've found two different classes of people: One= of them is the fundamentals, the group that I come out of: Baptists. Positiona= lly, they know where they are, but they haven't got much faith with it. And then= the other is Pentecostals. They got a lot of faith, but don't know who they are= . (Divine Love And Sovereign Grace 56-0814).<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= Because the five-= fold ministry of Ephesians 4:11-15 was not set in order. Pentecostals have faith= but do not know who they are. Tha= t is the reason for the division.<o:p></o:p> I hope you’= re thinking of another thing. This proves that it was not what the one hundred= and twenty received. They were set in order and the office gifts were set in order on the day of Pentecost. Although the apostles were guessing who was the greatest, who was going to = be the greatest in the Kingdom before the Article of Pentecost, they had no questions after that. After that, we could hear the epistles saying, “Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ;” and we hear Paul say, “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ;” and we hear Jude saying, “Jude, the servant of God.”&nb= sp; Everybody was set in order. And the order was so great after that, t= hey chose out seven deacons, “full of the Holy Ghost,” to serve tab= les. So many people had the Article of Pentecost that they cho= se out seven men to share out food and clothing because of the murmuring of the Grecian women. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> I tell people that after the Token, we will still have people murmuring. Yes. And to settle the issue, they chose seven deacons to share out food and clothing. One deacon = was so full of the Holy Ghost and apt to teach, named Stephen. He went down the= re and confounded all the Sadducees, and all the scribes and all the great men. The Bible said, “They could not withstand him because of the wisdom by which he spoke.” Then h= e died as a martyr for the Lord. All these great men. Oh my, Philip that met the Ethiopi= an was one of the seven. He was one of them. And an angel too= k him up and carried him away from the presence of the Ethiopian. <o:p></o:p> You talk about Holy Ghost </s= pan>activities! We are going to see that = again. I <o:p></o:p> believe that. It is going to be here—= God is the same God. If there’s going to be a restoration, “the glo= ry of the latter house shall be greater than the former house.” <o:p></o:p> Haggai 2:9: <The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts…><o:p></o:p></= span> <o:p> </o:p>= <o:p> </o:p>= Reason= for divisions amongst message believers<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>= That’s when they put up the Old Testam= ent temple for the coming of our Lord Jesus, they proclaimed those words. And we will see that. <o:p></o:p></s= pan> The reason for al= l the divisions of 1906 is because the five-fold ministry was not set in order. T= he outpouring of the Holy Spirit did set the five-fold ministry in order on the day of Pentecost. That is what the outpouring is coming for today. It is co= ming to adopt the sons of God, manifest the sons of God, and set the church in order. That is what it is coming for—to set the House of God in order= one more time. <o:p></o:p>= Now, friends, let= me put this in right here. If that caused the division in 1906, and the bicker= ing, and the biting, and the fussing, and men going to open up their own churches and their own assemblies around the world, from the east, to the west, to t= he Congo, to Ethiopia, coming down to Canada, going through England; and none = of them were agreeing on doctrines because the five-fold ministry was not set = in order yet, I am saying right here, today, to the followers of Malachi 4, </= span>the reason that there are divisions amongst the people that follow the message is that <s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weig= ht: bold'>the five-fold ministry is not yet set in order. <s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weig= ht: bold'>And if the five-fold ministry is not yet set in order, <s= pan style=3D'font-size:10.0pt;color:black;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weig= ht: bold'>you did not go back to Pentecost. You do not have the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. All that you did was to accept a prophet. All that you did was to accept a message, but you are based upon the same ar= ticle of 1906. And you have the same divisions, just like the Pentecostals. You are more badly divided than so-called Pentecost of 1906. Now, let somebody challenge that. t is a total impossibility to chal= lenge what I say there. <o:p></o:p> If the five-fold ministry was not set in order in 1906 and it caused such divisions amongst = the Pentecostals (And that proves that they did not go back to Pentecost) then, friends, it is the same thing amongst the followers of Malachi 4. They have more divisions than so-called Pentecost. Therefore, that proves that the five-fold ministry is not yet set in order; and if the five-fold ministry is not set in order, we need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. If some unbeliever would deny that the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit has not yet co= me I want them to tell me wh= en did th= e Outpouring of the Holy Spirit ever came after 1906. Come and tell me when the original outpouring ever came. Did it come = with Brother Branham or is it yet to come? He said that it is yet to come. So whom do they want us to believe= ? We are going to believe the prophet. If it did not come, then the followers of Malachi 4 are based upon the 1906 outpouring. They cannot go in the rapture with that. It is a total impossibility. They cannot go in the rapture. <o:p></o:p> The 1906 revival = was flooded with evil spirits. All kinds of evil spirits came in there, down to= the magicians and the soothsayers, witchdoctors, religionists, philosophers and unbelievers, who were proud and ambitious men. But here,= the 1906 revival brought people from all parts of the world, sodomites included, adulterers, fornicators, magicians and everything. Look at the difference with 1906, all those magicians came= in there. Look at the difference when a magician came to the revival that took place on the day of Pentecost. He was Simon the Sorcerer. He tried to make = his way into the Church by a baptism in water. McAlister= .</= span> Then we had anot= her man called R.E. McAlister, and he arose in 1913. Here you will find some roots. = This man started a doctrine of the “Oneness” and “Jesus only.” He had a little more truth t= han the other people and he said that God is not a trinity. That’s the fi= rst time this is coming to light, but then he had the doctrine crisscrossed. He wanted to believe in “oneness” so much that he made the flesh of Jesus and the Spirit one. So they start calling them “Jesus Only,R= 21; one spirit. <o:p></o:p></span= > Now, in Brother Branham’s messages, you hear him referring to the = 220;Oneness= 221; or the “Jesus Only”. Brother Branham was sometimes associated w= ith them in his evangelical campaigns. Many started saying that Brother Branham= was a “= One= ness” and a “Jesus Only.” He denied that because this man’s doctrine was= not altogether right. McAlister made the oneness doctrine in such a way that he made Jesus, the flesh, “God,” one single Person, forgetting the Spirit. He just wanted to make Jesus His own Father. We are coming up the one hundred years of Pentecostalism. We have a man called Haywood. And he said, “You know what? I have a church called Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. It’= ll pass every one of you. We are Pentecostal of the World.” So that went= on.<o:p></o:p> William Durham. Then another man= arose whose name was William <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Durham<= /st1:City></st1:place>. And a new outpouring struck during that time of William Durham. He preached= the “finished work.” He went a little higher in doctrine and started preaching about predestination and eternal security and started talking abo= ut the finished work of <st1:place w:st=3D"on">Calvary</st1:place>. One of the most popular televangel= ists in our modern time, at the celebration of 100 years of Pentecostalism, is t= he man called Benny Hinn</= span>. They did not re= cord him here, for some reason. And they did not record T. L. Osborn; they did not record Tommy Hicks and other popular men that were preaching in the time of the prophet. <o:p></o:p> We come right dow= n the list to show you how these revivals continued from 1906. These things will = mean very much to our brethren in the message and on the field. I am trying with= my whole heart to convince them that they cannot rely on that 1906 experience to go in the rapture. No, they cannot do t= hat but we definitely need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit.<o:p></o:p></s= pan> That anointing of= the Lord continued from 1906 and, ever so often, the Lord just poured out a lit= tle bit of His Spirit again and kept raising up certain men until the time of William Branham in 1933. Isn’t that wonderful? So it was not too long, 1906, and it came right down to 1933. In 1933, it was a different scene ent= irely. A Pillar of Fire appeared. I want to let you know, from 1906, to the time th= at the prophet died in 1965, there is no recorded history of another Outpourin= g of the Holy Spirit like the day of Pentecost. Let me repeat that. There is no recorded history from 1906 to 196= 5, and even up to 2006, there is no recorded history of another return of Pentecost. It is yet to come. We are not falsely led, friends. We have not followed cunningly devised fables. We have followed a sure = Word= = of prophecy and it is going to be here. “Though the vision linger, it is surely going to come to pass.” How many believe these things?
