THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

We are going to bring in little David, another hero of the faith. I want to add this in and just try to come to a climax
Matthew 24:14 <And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.>
After this devil, Goliath, had challenged David, we want to see what David had to say.
I Samuel 17:45-47 <Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands.>
Oh blessed be the Lord, Amen! Oh, I’m excited about the Word of the Lord! We have faith in our God that He is able to deliver us out of every temptation, out of every trial, out of every battle.
Brother Mike was bringing out that faith. I heard something the other day, said, “You got to get out of the boat and start walking on the water. Brothers, you who are sitting in the boat, by faith you’ve got to get out of the boat. Amen!
But we’re in a great expectation of this Promise of God. We know from the Scripture that we read here that this Word, this Gospel of this Kingdom, must go forth into all the world. This revelation is going to sweep the earth in a mighty revival.
REVIVAL COMING
Quote W.M.B.: 253-2 {182} The Bride hasn't had a revival yet. See? There's been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet. See? We're looking for it. It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it. He promised it. The Third Seal 63-0320.
We believe that here. We are looking for it. We are praying. I’d like to say that even creation is groaning, waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God to come.
Romans 8:19 <For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. >
Romans 8: 22 <For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.>
We are believing that.
Jesus said, right in our Scripture here, that this Word must go forth into all the world. How is it going to go forth, I would like to ask you? Someone must bring it; someone must be learning this Word; somebody, somewhere, must be being trained in all the facets and the tactics of the enemy to know what he is going to do when they go forth with that Word.
MEN TRAINED IN THE WORD
Quote W.M.B.: E-39 What we need is an example. We need men and women who separate themselves from the things of the world, accept God's Word and build on that sound Gospel of the Bible. That's what the world needs today. Then you'll see great gifts poured out. You'll see great things happening, when the church gets united, and all the "isms" out of them, and start moving on. Quote: E-69 Brother, let me tell you we need men behind the pulpit, not a bunch of theological sissies that's afraid of something to say to the people. We need men of courage, good men, filled with the Holy Ghost, that stands there that will not preach sissified stuff, and creeds, and denomination, but will preach the Gospel and shuck the hide off of them. That's exactly right. Right. The Rejected King 60-0610.
David was on the back side of the desert being trained in the tactics of the enemy. He was learning; he was waiting on the Lord. He waited upon the anointing; he was singing to his God, making up psalms. And no doubt he had a weapon that he had learned to use since when he was real young. Maybe his dad taught him how to use his slingshot. Well, that was David’s weapon, his weapon of war.
I noticed in the Scripture I was reading a moment ago that David caught the lion by the beard, slew him, and he slew the bear. David must have been a man of faith. I mean, Brothers, to grab a lion right now and just throw him, and knock him down; it’s going to be pretty hard. You’d have to have some faith in your God.
So he used that sling against the wolves that would creep in. They were trying to get the sheep—the lion, and the bear. The Lord was preparing David. He had a purpose for David. And David loved the Lord.
Today there is a preparation going on. God is getting an army ready to go out and face the enemy today. They are likened unto the army of Joel.
JOEL’S ARMY
Joel 2:2-11<A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?>
They are being equipped with the Word of the Lord, the Truth. I would like to say to the brothers out there in the world wherever you are, it’s the Truth that shall set you free.
John 8:32 <And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.>
All around the world people have come up with their own ideas of what the message of Brother Branham means. What is the real revelation of Brother Branham’s message? Now where did they get it, I’d like to ask? They all have their own ideas about the message, and now, they are spreading their heresies all over the world.
Well then, why can’t we spread the truth? Why can’t we tell the truth about it? When we hear these heresies coming up, it sounds so strange, so backward; and we say, “How in the world could somebody believe something like that?” because we know the truth. We have heard the truth, and we have been set free; and he whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
John 8:36 <If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.>
I am so glad that the mouths of these heretics are being shut. I even heard that some of them may be losing their churches. They are starting to grab their heresy books and say, “Hey, what’s in here?” Maybe the Lord would even convert them if they would be humble enough to drop their heresies.
Lay down your heresy, Brother, and the Lord will set you free. That’s all. If they had only stayed with the truth they would have been better off. Brother Branham preached the truth and nothing but the truth.

The “gospel of the kingdom” is not the “gospel of heresies”, but the “gospel of power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost.”
I would like to ask you, did the gospel of the
kingdom go into all nations? Then how can it all be over? Did
Brother Branham go to all nations?
WITNESSES TO ALL THE WORLD

And now, there was the Gospel must be witnessed to all
the earth, beginning at
Now, in order to be a witness, a witness must first be qualified. In the courts of our land, in the Supreme Court, and all the courts of justice, a witness must be first examined before he can be a witness. And if the courts of our land in justice would require an examination before becoming a witness, then how much more will the God of heaven require an examination and a qualified witness before we are recognized in His sight as a correct witness. Witnesses 56-1004.
Quote: 149 ’He that believeth in Me...’ Saint John 14:7,’"He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he also. Do the same works, and greater than this...’ Because Christ cannot preach the baptism of the Holy Ghost would be greater. He could not bring it to them, because the Holy Ghost hadn't yet been given. But when Jesus came and sacrificed His Life, and the Holy Ghost returned, then they could impart Eternal Life to the people. That's the greater.
But the signs and wonders, Jesus plainly said in Mark 16, ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.’ How far? All the world. How many? Every creature. Long as the Gospel's being preached, these signs shall follow them that believe. And when that becomes a revelation, brother, you're near the Kingdom then. ‘On this rock I'll build My church, and the gates of hell can't prevail against it.’ The Revelation of Jesus Christ 60-1204M.
So here we are, like David in the back part of the desert. We are getting ready to meet the enemy on the field. I don’t know if you noticed, but the groundwork is being laid right now for that very thing: for the Gospel to go into all the world. That is why we need to read these heresy books—to get to know what is in there. They are weapons of war. We are presently now defeating the enemy. These books are going out, defeating the enemy and breaking those chains of interpretation. Praise the Lord!
So back to my story, here comes Goliath with his
big heresy, “I defy the armies of
Well, let me tell you something, Goliath. Watch who you are defying with your heresies because you might be defying God’s people. When you start defying God’s people, God will raise up a standard against you. If you defy the message (you make a heresy), God will raise up a standard against it, because that’s His truth, that’s His Word going forth.
So David heard Goliath’s heresies, said “I’ll go and fight him right now.” Boy, that war blood started flowing! He started saying, “That’s it, I’ll get him; I’ll take him today!” Saul said, “Wait a minute, wait a minute, let me help you out. You need a sword; and David, you need this shield; and you need this…”
GOD’S WAY, NOT MAN’S WAY
Quote W.M.B.: E-53-54 He said, ‘That uncircumcised Philistine.’ Now, I want you to watch how a man gets away from God like Saul did.
He said, ‘Come here, then. I'm going to give you five years and cemetery or seminary.’ Both the same place, bunch of dead people. I always feel sorry for a seminary... Well, maybe I'd better not say that. I always think about a seminary preacher like a incubator chicken. He just chirp, chirp, chirp and ain't got no mammy to go to. That's right. Sure.
I don't care how much theology you learn, unless you're born again you're lost. Hallelujah. That's right. It's the truth. You've got to know God by an experience of being borned again.
That uncircumcised Philistine, he might've been religious. But brother, there's a whole lot difference beside being religious and being even fundamental and being borned again.
Now, so Saul said, "Looky here. I will put my armor on you." So could you imagine little David, with his shoulders about like that, with these big armors sticking out about like this, armor of mail? He put it on him.
He said, "Take the thing off. I can't go like that." And when they tie you all down to this kind of religion, you must say, "Amen" this way. You must do this way and make your vows like that... Saul found out that his great big old ecclesiastical vest didn't fit a man of God. It never does. No, sir. A man of God will go in the power of the Spirit. I don't care what the church has got to say to it. He always will. Yes, sir. He found out that clergy vest didn't fit him. That's right.
He said, ‘Take the thing off. I've never proved it. I don't know nothing about it.’ That's the way. You don't know nothing about your big words, and how to form your this, that, and that and repeat the doxology, and say, ‘Amen’ like a calf dying with the cramps. But I will telling you, brother, what we need tonight is a man that's got an experience and knows what he's talking about, who's got power of God, who could back it up. Amen. NEED PAUL’S REVIVAL, CHURCH POWER
Quote: E-31 What we need today is a good old fashion Saint Paul's revival, and the Bible Holy Ghost back into the Church, that'll shake the subtites of the--hell down into the devil's eye, and call black black and white white.
Give us some men, not compromisers, but will stand up and preach the Gospel in its fullness, in the power and the demonstration of the Holy Spirit. What we need today... It's better than all the theology that can be hatched up by man.

But remember, brother, let me tell you. What we need tonight, is the Gospel preached in the power and the of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Brother, it'll clean you as sure as the world. It'll make you act different. God Perfecting His Church 54-1204.
THE GOSPEL IN POWER AND DEMONSTRATION
Quote: 223 This Gospel will be preached..." What Gospel? What is the Gospel? Not the Word only. Paul said, "The Gospel come to us, not in word only, but through power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost come the Gospel." Paul said, "I never come with some seminary education, come making big swell words, for your salvation to be based upon swelled words, and enchanting lips, and some doxology or Apostles ‘ Creed, or something like that. I never come to Christ and the demonstration of the Holy Ghost." Hallelujah! God give us some more Pauls, with great, powerful punches that'll lay It out there with that Gos—without some seminary gloves on. Amen. Seal of God! Amen. The Seal of God 54-0514.
GOSPEL POWER - WITNESS TO NATIONS - MATTHEW 24:14
Quote: E-92 Now, Jesus was asked, "When shall the time come when there won't be one stone left upon another? And what is the sign of the coming of the end of the world? When is it going to be?"
And He begin to tell them.”This Gospel will be preached to every nation and kingdom for a witness unto Me." You know what? Now, He never said. He said, "this Gospel." Now, He didn't say, "Go teach the Word"; but, "preach the Gospel." There's a lot of difference, certainly. The Gospel is the power and demonstration of the Word (See?), the power and demonstrations of the Word.
You remember when that Angel come down on the river (which you have the picture of it, and you know about), when it said here about--in 1933, when I was baptizing my first group, that the message would sweep the world? And every nation they've got a revival going. They've had it everywhere. See? Sure. Pulling the elected out. That's right. "This Gospel shall be preached. The Signs of His Coming 62-0407.
Quote: E-45 But it isn't crowds that I'm thinking about. The Gospel must be preached in this city, and that city, and to all the world for a witness, then the Lord shall come. Not theology must be preached, but the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost must be demonstrated in all the world for a witness. Then the time shall come. Has The Lord Spoken Only To Moses 53-1130.
And David said, “No, I’ll go with what the Lord has taught me in the backside of the desert. You just sit there king and I’ll go take care of him for you.” David had a true revelation, representing that Christ anointing. It was kept in secret all those years.
Oh, are you seeing it now? The church was bound by the heresies going forth. And they’re bound today by so many heresies. A fellow will make one up this week, and the next week he will make up another one. The church gets bowed down a little bit more, and knocked down, and knocked down. “Oh, there’s no hope, it’s all over.” But, there’s plenty of hope! All God needs is another little David with truth to cut the thing down.
Quote W.M.B.: 51 Oh, if we had more David's in this army, if we had more man who would stand and be persistent, perseverant in the Faith that was once delivered to the saints! Perseverant 64-0305.
Jude 1:3-4 <Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.>
Ungodly men have crept in unawares today, following the message of Brother William Branham, by a perverted “love gospel.” They say, “You can have your own doctrine; it’s okay. It’s alright, that guy can preach whatever he wants to preach next week, just love everybody.” But what happens, that Christ anointing raises up and says, “No! It’s a heresy! It’s not of God and it’s not founded in the Word of God.” The Church today must put down those heresies and that unbelief.
Goliath, representing the devil, had the church bowed
down there in
Maybe David had heard something going on, “What’s wrong with the church over there? Why don’t they just take care of that fellow? All those big fellows like Saul and his men of war, what’s wrong with them?” He was hearing how the church was having trouble and he got fed up with it.
DAVID SHAMED HIS BROTHERS
Quote W.M.B.: [Goliath] …was making a challenge against the armies of God! And he said it in the presence of David.”
David said, "Will you stand and let that uncircumcised Philistine defy the armies of the living God?" He shamed his brothers;”
…And no matter how big the giant looked, and how unreal it seemed to be, David was persistent that that uncircumcised Philistine wasn't going to defy the armies of the living God that he represented. Perseverant 45-49 64-0305.
He said, “That’s it! Listen, I had a lion come up, and I had a bear come up trying to take my sheep and I killed them, and this Philistine will be the same—just another lion, another bear!” David had an anointing from the Lord. He was anointed. These boasts didn’t scare David one bit.
Today we have an anointing of Christ with us, and we are not scared of the boast of the devil, challenging the Word of God. Why? Because the battle is the Lord’s. And there is power in the true revelation. The truth shall set you free; and that revelation today will tear up those heresies.
So David went up after Goliath. Goliath started making fun of David. He cursed David by his gods. And David reached down into a brook; he got five smooth stones, representing a true revelation of God’s Word. He drew near to Goliath. He reached into his bag, and he pulled out one stone, (Oh glory to God!)—God’s Word. And he put it into that sling made of skin, (I’d like to say that God’s Word is placed in skin today) and he started whirling that Word around, by a strong arm of faith. Boy, that really confused Goliath, “Look at this thing; we fight with swords and spears. What’s this fellow coming up with a little sling and a rock? A little stone? What’s that going to do against all my armor?” The whole army was looking at that sling just going around, whoosh, whoosh. They’d never seen warfare on that fashion before.
And you know what David did? David started slinging that thing around and at that last sling, he let go of that revelation, the EODH book! Glory to God! And it smote the Philistine right in the head and down came Goliath. Right where the heresies are coming from—right in the head. See what happens, the devil deals with the mind, but the Lord deals with the heart.
He smote him, and Goliath went down. David ran over, grabbed the sword, and he chopped off his head. What happened? The church all saw it, and they rose up. They were encouraged by such a revelation going forth.
They are raising up today, Brothers and Sisters. They’re being encouraged by what’s going on here. That anointing is coming upon our little brothers out there. They’ve been in a war. The EODH book has set them on fire—to finally see the truth of the Lord coming forth to tear those heresies up! And the church rose up like a mighty army and they slew the Philistines and they had a revival. Glory to God!
LOOKING FOR THE PROMISE
Quote W.M.B.: And now, if the churches would forget their creeds, and forget their dogmas, and just take the Bible, plead the Promise, then it would come effective to them. But see, Jesus said, "You with your traditions make the Word of God not effective to you." Well, that's the same thing today with spiritual Eve. See? The spiritual Bride of today, so-called the church, she takes the Word of God; and she won't accept It, and she accepts dogmas instead. Therefore, the Word's not effective to her (See?), because she tries to inject her creed with the Word, and it won't work. The Third Seal 63-0320.

We are to be true witnesses and witness to all nations.
MUST RECEIVE UNCTION – “DYNAMITE” - “EXPLOSION” – TO BE QUALIFIED

There was a certain specification that they must meet before they could be qualified as a witness, and this witness was to be... This qualification was to be the coming of the promised Holy Spirit to fill the Church with unction. And the word "unction" comes from the Greek Word, "dynamite" where it means to--an explosion. They must receive something first before they can be a witness.
God never sends a man, until first He has made this man a--a qualified witness. Witnesses 56-1004.
Quote: E-9 And God did the same thing at the day of Pentecost, when He... They heard the Holy Spirit coming like as a rushing, mighty wind, and they saw tongues of fire set upon each of them. They were both eye and ear witnesses, that God had fulfilled His Promise in sending the Holy Spirit to the

Yes, the Church needs a return to Pentecost. We

OUTPOURING, REVIVAL TO COME
Quote W.M.B.: I truly believe that the church is on the brink of one of the greatest Outpourings that it's ever had in this age. I believe it. I can't say the Lord has told me, but it's just something inside me, just catching a hold of something, that I haven't seen all my life till just now. And how glorious it is to know, just before the coming of the Lord, that these things are happening. Time Tested Faith 58-0530.
Quote: E-48 As a watchman sit on the wall, I've throwed out a warning to the people, to be careful in these last days. And I pray God it'll sink deep into the hearts of every person, and may the Holy Spirit water it, and may it bring forth great revivals, and a unity of brotherhood among ministers, and the love of Christ shed abroad in our hearts. And may we see before the end of time a great Outpouring and a revival. Grant it, Lord. God Keeps His Word #2 57-0307.
So we see that Brother Branham was looking for something great to happen. Brother Branham had a longing in his heart to see the Outpouring of the Holy Ghost, and to see a Church come on the scene where no sin could set in it’s midst. He desired a vision from the Lord of this Church. He said, “The Lord gave him that vision about ten o’clock the other morning.”
VISION OF CHURCH WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE
Quote W.M.B.: 20 This is one thing I desire to do; one of my desires is to see a Church without spot or without wrinkle, that the Holy Spirit... Brother Graham, this has been the longing of my heart, to see a Church that's so filled with God until sin can't abide in it anywhere, the Spirit of God calling it right out, wherever it is. I want to see that.
And one thing that I desire, the one great vision from the Lord that I've always desired to have from the Lord, He give it to me the other morning about ten o'clock in the morning. And that satisfied my desire. For years and years, since I've been a minister, I've longed to see that, and it finally come to pass. Now, I'm very grateful to God. I haven't said nothing about it, just got it wrote down. And I know it's just exactly what I've been asking for all the time. If God Be With Us, Then Where Is All The Miracles 61-1231E.
We could say that Brother Branham saw that Church. I believe that we are about ready to receive that Outpouring. Then the Word shall go around the world.
