CHAPTER TEN
There was a book published entitled “First martyr for the message of Malachi 4:5-6” The martyr was our precious Brother Lambert, who contended for another outpouring of the Holy Spirit from the beginning of his ministry. The message that will follow was taken unabridged from magnetic tape recordings.
May this serve as evidence for our readers that Pastor Lambert was truly sent of God as a revivalist to keep the vision of Malachi 4:5-6, concerning the final outpouring of the Holy Spirit alive.
GREATEST OUTPOURING FOR RAPTURE
I believe we are living in the hour when the true Church of Jesus Christ is in the little store front building and will soon be driven to the homes and to the basements, but I believe this one thing that people don’t know where Mrs. Jesus is, they don’t really know and can’t prove where the Bride of Christ is the true Church.
I believe with all of my heart, and I’m under great anticipation and expectation this morning because I’m looking for Jesus Christ to pour out the greatest Outpouring of the Holy Ghost the world has ever seen. You say, “Now here, Brother Bob, I thought it was all over.” Well you get what you expect, but I’m expecting Jesus Christ to give us Power to get out of this place. How many want out of this here? (Congregation says, “Amen!”) Yes, it takes Power to get out of here. How many want to know Him in the Power of His resurrection? If the same Power that dwelt in Christ, that raised Him from the dead, it shall quicken your mortal bodies, change in a moment in the twinkling of an eye.
You’ll never get out of here with joining a church. You’ll never get out of here with shaking a preacher’s hand, but if you’re going to get out of here you are going to have to go and get what Mary got, get what Peter got, get what Paul got, get what all of them got. Hallelujah! We need the Power of God. Hallelujah! Amen!
Christianity is more than just saying, “I’m a Christian.” Christianity is a display that Jesus Christ is not dead but is alive forevermore, hallelujah! These signs shall follow them that believe. In My Name they’ll cast out devils, speak with other tongues. If they drink any deadly thing it won’t harm them. If they lay hands upon the sick, they shall recover. Go ye unto all the world and preach the Gospel, the good news! I believe that this world is going to see a display of true Christianity. I believe before this thing is over that the denominations are going to know who is the Bride of Christ. Today, you don’t know where the Bride of Christ is. But I tell you, I got a wife and you want to see her? Come over home; she’s there all the time. And I’m certain of this one thing, if you and I lived in the days of the apostles, and you met one of them apostles and they preached to you the Gospel, and they told you about the Bride of Christ and about the great Super Church of Christ and you’d say, “I want to see it!” Brother, they’d tell you, “We’re going to meet together tonight at seven o’clock. If you want to see the Bride of Christ, if you want to see that Jesus Christ is not dead but He’s alive, come and go along with us.”
CANNOT PROVE CHRIST IS ALIVE
Now, what we
got today, we can’t do it. We can’t prove that there’s a Bride of
Christ. I can’t prove it here in
Let me tell you something. Any religion today and all the denominational preachers and the theology of this world, they can all produce psychology, but I tell you it takes the Power of the Holy Ghost that fell on the day of Pentecost to get inside of a people that can prove that Jesus is not dead but He’s alive. Let me tell you something, I feel that we’re under a great responsibility this morning. Those that call themselves by the name of Christ are under a great responsibility. That is that every child that claims to know Christ must be able to prove that they know Him in the Power of His resurrection. Brother and Sister, if there ever was an hour when we need to know Christ in the Power of His resurrection, it’s today. When evening shadows are falling and gross darkness is upon the earth and people are loving the things of the world more than they love the things of God; in an hour when a prophet has come and brought a message and the Bible says that there would come a falling away from the faith that should be restored, instead of people contending for the faith today, they’re falling away from the faith.
What is the faith? The faith that the apostles had to make God’s Word live. It’s not just saying, “I, I’ve received the faith.” But if we got faith, then we got to have works to prove our faith. These signs have got to follow the believer.
And I’m under great anticipation and expectation this morning that I’ve stood from this pulpit and preached for four solid years that Jesus Christ is ready to pour out His Spirit. And I tell you in the Name of the Lord that Something is getting ready to happen. Amen! I believe that Jesus Christ is ready to come and prove what I told you is the truth. Write my name down under it. My name if you don’t know it… (don’t make any difference) but write my name down under it. It’s going to happen when you least expect it. I’m looking for a Sound from heaven.
Don’t tell me the people today have received a Pentecost. Don’t tell me that you received the Token when you believed the message; nowhere in the Bible does it say it. After that you believed the message of God then you receive Power for service. What we need is not saying, “I’ve heard the prophet.” That isn’t no more than being able to read.
You say, “I believe the prophet, I heard the prophet;
I believe he’s a prophet.” Anybody ought to know he’s a prophet of
God.
WHEN THE POWER THAT WORKED IN WMB WORKS IN US, WE ARE ONE

There’s only one thing that can bring this message to Life and that’s the same Life you see demonstrated in Brother William Branham. The same Life that was in William Branham was in the early apostles and the hundred and twenty on the day of Pentecost. They had the Life to bring the Word of God to Life and make it live. Hallelujah!
Oh, I get so tired of just coming to service and preaching! I want to hear a Sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind. I want to know Him in the Power that raised Him from the dead! Amen. I wouldn’t care if I had a pair of overhauls on this morning and an old pair of shoes with holes in them and an old ragged shirt on. I don’t care whether or not (as the prophet of God said) “whether or not my pants matched my coat or not,” but I want my experience to match the Word of God!
I want what Peter had; I want what Paul had. I want a church filled with the Power of the Holy Ghost. I want to see every woman in my church filled with what Mary was filled with. I want to see every brother filled with what Barnabus, Paul, and Phillip was filled with. I tell you the truth, that I don’t even believe that I could have waited on tables this morning in the early Church. Brother, they had to be filled with the Holy Ghost and filled with faith to even wait on tables. Oh, how we need what they had on the day of Pentecost! We need It. We need to strive and struggle for It and thirst for It and hunger for It. And I believe with all of my heart that’s why God sent Brother William Branham.
Well, they say, “Well, the way you’re talking, Brother Bob…” The preachers hear me preach say, “The way you’re talking, why we’d all be like Brother Branham.” You’d better be like him! Paul said, “You follow me as I follow Christ.”
UNBELIEF IN GOD’S PROMISE
What’s the matter? It’s carnality? Let me tell you something. This old natural mind is a deadly enemy to Christ and His Promise of the hour. The prophet of God said, “The trouble with this message is you’re hearing it with your intellect—up in your mind. That’s why we got so many cults and so many isms and schisms following this message today. That’s why the Angel of God told Brother Branham, “Thin ‘em down; you got too many following you.” Brother, let me tell you something, we don’t need ten thousand people following this message, all we need is about ten people that’ll get hungry and thirsty for God, that’ll get filled with the Power of the Holy Ghost, Brother. Yes, sir! That’s what we need!
The trouble is our minds are deadly enemies to Christ’s Promise of the hour. God can only take one class of believers and do anything with it; one class of people and that’s believers. He can’t use a make believer. He can’t use an unbeliever. The only thing that he can use today is a believer; and a believer is like Joshua and Caleb.
They saw the man who come down from heaven. They
saw the Pillar of Fire. They saw the Spoken Word. They saw the
creative Power of God. They saw the glory of God on
That’s what going on among the followers of this message today. They’re giving an evil report. They’re saying, “It’s all over. Nobody can have the Power of God but Brother Branham.” That’s an antichrist spirit and a lie of the devil. Ye, ye shall receive Power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me when you get the Power that He promised on the day of Pentecost wait there.
And all of them crying and crying and carrying on,
“Oh, we can’t take the promise. We can’t take the
I don’t like the devil to get me down. Do you love the Lord? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] Do you want the Power of God in your life? Do you want the love of God? Do you want to love your enemies? Then you got to get the Token. How many of you, really under expectation? You know God’s going to do it. I’m looking for it this morning. Remember, ‘ol God’s millstone just keeps rolling. Remember, we are waiting Him out. We are waiting the Lord out. He said those that will wait for Me they are going to see Me when I come. And He’s going to come just exactly like He came on the day of Pentecost.
SOUND FROM HEAVEN – BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Quote W.M.B.: 15-1 That's the reason I do believe that when that Bride is called out and elected and set in the Book of Life, there'll come a sound from heaven that'll take such a baptism of the Holy Spirit into that Bride that'll take Her from the earth in a rapturing grace. If I don’t hear a Sound, then I’ll say, “Lord, that wasn’t it.” You say, “But oh, you saw the Light.” I want to hear a Sound. I want to hear a rushing wind. I want to see licks of fire set upon each one. I want to see each one filled with the Holy Ghost. You say, “Oh Brother Bob, I thought we got that way back there. No, you did, but you believed the biggest lie the devil ever told you.
1906 – THAT WAS NOT THE REAL THING
Quote W.M.B.: This age started just after the turn of the twentieth century. As it was to be the age in which the true church would return to being the bride she was at Pentecost, we know that there must of necessity be a return of dynamic power. The believers sensed this in their spirits and began crying to God for a new outpouring such as was in the first century.
What seemed to be the answer came as many began to speak in tongues and manifest gifts of the Spirit. It was then believed that this was indeed the long awaited RESTORATION. It was not…How could this be the real thing when the Teaching Rain had not come? The prophet messenger who was to be sent to TEACH the people and turn the hearts of the children back to the Pentecostal fathers had not yet come. Thus what was thought to be the restoration and the final quickening unto the rapture had not come. A Resume Of The Ages -Church Age Book Cpt.10.
There was no denomination could give you what they had on the day of Pentecost. None of them could give you what they did on the day of Pentecost. Is that right? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] None of them could give It to you. None of them could give It to you, they never had It to give to you.
The only way that we can receive what they did on the day of Pentecost is be born like they were born. They had the blood Life of God dwelling down in their immortal souls. They were born correctly and the reason why that no people has heard a Sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind and received what they did on the day of Pentecost is because they were all born wrong, born wrong. The apostles said, “Ye have been begotten through the Word of Truth.”
Why did the Bible say that Jesus Christ was the only begotten Son of God? Why did the Bible say it? There’s a reason why the Bible says the things that it says. Jesus Christ was the only begotten Son of God, only begotten. He was the only begotten Son that the Father had. And He said to them by a Voice from heaven, “Hear ye Him.” Why hear ye Him? Because He is the only one you should hear. You shouldn’t hear anybody that isn’t begotten of God, and there isn’t any denomination can beget any children to God. That’s right! That’s why the Voice said from heaven, “Hear ye Him.” Why? Because He was the only begotten son of God, the only one that He had and He had to take the only begotten Son of God.
Now the only way that He could be begotten of God is
to be begotten through the Word; and God was the Word; and God spoke the Word;
and He begot Christ and He was the only begotten Son that He had, the only
One. But, Brother, when the first man that was begotten by the Truth like
he should have been born, Brother, He come and undo all that the devil had done
through Adam. He came to undo all that Adam had done—He come to undo
it. Is that right? Because that He was born correctly. Now
Jesus Christ, the Bible said that He was made the captain of our salvation and
He was the First Born among many begotten sons of God. He was the First
Born. He was the first one that was born correctly and He was born by the
Spoken Word of God. Amen! And He was born correctly, so that’s why
that He went down to the
Well you say, “I thought Pentecost had it.” They lied. The Devil lied to them. The Bible said in Revelation 3:14: Pentecost said, “I’m clothed with the Token; I’m clothed with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost!” Jesus Christ spoke back and said, “You said you were clothed with the Token; you were clothed with the wedding garment; you were filled with the Holy Ghost.” Jesus said, “You put my prophet on the outside of the church. You claim to have It and you put my prophet on the outside of the church. Now whosoever will let him come to Me and I’ll give It to him. You put him on the outside. You claim to have it, but you put him on the outside.
You didn’t even know what the Baptism of the Holy Ghost was until the prophet came; and then the people were so shocked by the display of the Power of God and by the display of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, they thought he was the Lord Jesus Himself, and many bowed down before him and begun to confess their sins to him. He liked to blowed his brains out over it. But what made them do it? It’s because they saw such a display of the Power of God.
You know they wanted to worship Peter. Did you know they wanted to worship Paul? Why? Because they never saw such a display of the Power of God; and they will want to worship you if you get the Holy Ghost.
You go and get what William Branham got, and go and get what Peter got, they’ll want to fall down and worship you. And you’ll have to say like Peter, “Rise up, I’m just a man.” That’s right. Yes, sir. Paul cast a devil out of some people up there in a town he was in, and they said, “My, the God of heaven has come down.” And when they worshiped Paul and began to confess their sins, he said, “I’m just a sinner saved by grace.”
Acts 14: 8-15 <And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. [Which] when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard [of], they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.>
What happened? This church world saw such a display of the Holy Ghost. It never saw anything like it before. That’s why Brother Branham said, “When the supernatural was done in my ministry, it caused a mixed multitude to come out and follow it.” Is that right? But out of that mixed multitude, the Bible said, “Many are called by the supernatural in Malachi 4:5, but only a few out of that mixed multitude He’s going to take and make a Bride out of them.” How many want to be that part?
Oh, you said, “I thought it was a coming out of the denominations.” Brother, they’re in! They’ve never come out! The denominations are not even in the picture. Moses come down and called a people and they never was a church until they came out. There’s no such thing as Baptist church, Methodist church, Pentecostal church. There’s only one Church. There’s only one Bride. There’s only one body, and by one Spirit are we all baptized into that body. One Spirit are you all placed into that body and if you haven’t received the Token, which you haven’t.
Oh you say, “Now, wait a minute, there isn’t nobody going to tell me that.” I done told you. You can’t prove it. You can’t display the Power of God. You can’t do it, so therefore you do not have it. You say, “I believe the message.” That’s no more than being able to read. No more than being able to read. But have you come into Christ? Have you come into His body? But you come into His body then the works that He did, you’re going to do also.
We’re not the Bride here this morning. We’re not the Bride here this morning. I’d venture to say that there’d be some in here that would be in the Bride. I hope I am. I want to be. There isn’t anybody going into that Body but perfect material. You got to have a revelation of the message. And then you got to have virtue. Oh, I know you thought that was the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, but it isn’t.
You know, people in this message want to start at the top and come down to the bottom. That’s why they fall. You try to climb up a ladder and get on the top rung, you’ll fall. You got to come Faith, which is a revelation of the Promise of the hour, Virtue, Knowledge, Temperance, Patience, Godliness. All this is God. All this is the grace of God. That’s why no denomination could display Christianity. That’s why no denomination could prove they were the Bride of Christ. Why? Because they never had the Life of God.
Jesus had the life of God in Him. He was a man that lived by faith. Is that right? He was born correct. He had the Life of God. He had the blood cell of God and that blood cell began to build a tabernacle for God to dwell in. And He built Word Faith, Word Virtue, Word Knowledge, Word Temperance, Word Patience, and all this is the Spirit of God.
Did you know this morning you have just as much of the Spirit of God is in you as you have revelation upon the message? And if you don’t have any revelation on why Brother Branham came, and what God wants to do in this hour with you, then you don’t have any of the Spirit of God at all. You’re an intellectual believer.
You say, “Well, what is the new birth then, Brother Bob?” A new birth is a revelation of the Promise of the hour. You say, “I quit smoking, I quit drinking, I quit adultery.” That doesn’t have a thing to do with it. Why, anybody in their right mind ought not to do those things. Come on. That isn’t Christianity. Did you know that Pentecostal preaches that they’re born again, begotten of God? Don’t they? Don’t they all preach they’re begotten of God? Why they wouldn’t even believe that Brother Branham was the man that God sent. Now we’re making just as big a mistake as they are.
You say, “Well I believe the message.” Let me tell you something. You’ll have the hottest place in hell if you don’t get that Token. To whom much is given, much is required. Oh yes! Don’t you rest, Brother. Don’t you rest just because you saw the prophet. One brother said, “I hunted with him, I fished with him.” I did too. “Why, he told something around a thought.” I heard him tell it too, but never heard him tell one thing he didn’t already tell on tape. “And just a little special group’s going to go, because they stood around the fire with him.” Nonsense! There isn’t nobody going to go that don’t get what Peter and Paul and Mary and John and all of them got.
The very reason that God sent Brother Branham was to bring another Pentecost. That’s right. I know people don’t like it. But God likes it. You shall receive Power after that the prophet comes. Is that right? You shall receive Power.
You know Jesus Christ was begotten of God. He was born correctly. Why? He was begotten through the Word of Truth. You never had anything to beget you until the Truth came through the prophet. You thought you were born again before he come. Some even thought they had the great Baptism. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is not the new birth.
THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST IS A DIFFERENT ACT FROM THE NEW BIRTH
Quote W.M.B.: The baptism of the Holy Ghost is a different act from the new birth. One is a birth; one is a baptism. One brings you Eternal Life; the other one gives you power. It gives power into Eternal Life (See?) to operate. QA Hebrews part 2 COD 57-1002 P:30.
Quote: 37 And the new birth, as people talks that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the new birth. Now, that's wrong. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is different from the new birth. The new birth is when you're born again. But the Holy Ghost is when power comes into that birth for service. That's exact. See? Countdown 62-0909.
Quote: 114 And borned again does not necessarily mean now that you got the Holy Ghost. Now, remember. Now, many teach that. "I don't know anybody that teaches it like this," as old Brother Arganbright said the other night from the pulpit here. See? But new birth is not the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Scripture doesn't support it, I don't think (See?), to my way of seeing it. See? Key to the Door 62-1007.
And even if the Baptism would fall upon you, which it won’t and can’t, because if it did, it’d kill you. It’d kill you. Oh, you might get a blessing come upon you, but you won’t get the Baptism unless you got Faith, Virtue, Knowledge, Temperance, Patience, Godliness, Brotherly Kindness.
LOVE OF GOD, HOLY GHOST BAPTISM SEAL VIRTUES LIVING TABERNACLE
Quote W.M.B.: 48 Then Peter here says first (seven things) faith, virtue (See, coming up), knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly love, and brotherly kindness and then the love of God, the Holy Ghost. VIRTUES ADDED THEN CAPSTONE HOLY GHOST
Quote: 22-3 And now, as in the individuals, these virtues and things are (knowledge and temperance)--is added to our faith, then when the Capstone comes, the Holy spirit cements it together; There's the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That's why it's so short today. Blasphemous Names 62-1104M.
Why they couldn’t they receive it on
Ephesians 4:13-24 <Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ
That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.>
How are you going to be perfect? Well, the first thing you are going to have to have is a revelation of the Word of God. And the blood cell is in revelation. The blood cell is not in just in, “I believe everything Brother Branham said,” but if you don’t have a revelation, then you got a second hand religion.
I Corinthians 12:3<Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.>
YOU CAN’T BE BORN AGAIN WITHOUT FAITH

Some people say, “Well, Brother Bob, I’m going to move

Let me tell you, I’ve said and I’ll say it again. The biggest deception of the devil in this hour is to make people think that they’re born again when they’re not. But there is God’s provided way, for us to be born again and that’s be begotten through the Word of Truth. There was no Word of Truth, Honey, until Brother Branham came. There was no Word of Truth ‘til Brother Branham came. And then, when Brother Branham came, he brought a message and all that elected Bride is going to get a revelation of that message. Now they aren’t going to just polly-parrot memorize everything on tape. That isn’t it. The devil can do that, and is doing it. Is that right? Do we not have Judas-anointed ones right among us today? But you don’t know who they are. The only way that you’ll ever know is get a revelation of the Word of God.
REVELATION - WHY BROTHER BRANHAM CAME
But look at it, the little Bride that’s going to be showed off in this last day is to come God’s provided way and be begotten through the Word of Truth. The apostle said, “Ye have been begotten through the Word of Truth.” Huh? Then you were sealed with the Holy Spirit, the Token, after you were begotten through the Word of Truth. Now, look here. When you are begotten through the Word of Truth, by a divine revelation… No man can call Jesus “his Lord and Master” except by the Holy Ghost. And the Holy Ghost is the only One that can give you a revelation of the message. I can’t give it to you. If Brother Branham was here, he couldn’t give it to you.

You must receive an individual revelation of the message, your own self. And then that puts you in running for the rapture. And if you don’t have a revelation of why Brother Branham came and you don’t have a revelation of Christ the mystery of God for this hour, then you’re not born again yet. All of your religion is right up in your head. That’s why that you don’t have a hundred percent answers to prayer.
I want to see the person will stand up and say, “God answers every prayer that I pray.” I want to see one that can stand up and say, “I can take every spirit in here under my control.” You never did hear me say it, did you? Must be some reason why I don’t say it then. I don’t know no man can say that, but the apostles could, the early Church could, but we can’t, yet we claim to have it. Brother down at the tape meeting said, “Oh I tell you, this message has got more breakups in it and more trouble going on than anything I ever seen,” but said, “I wouldn’t trade it for all the rest of them.” Out of the next breath said they all had the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Contradicts the Word of God.
One Faith, one Lord, one Baptism, one God, one Church,
one Spirit to be baptized with. Something is wrong, Children. Why
do you think that Brother Branham said, “One leaves
One brother in the woods the other day claims to have the Token, claims to have Power of God, claims to have Perfect Love, and out of his own mouth, he said that the Bride is asleep; he was asleep; and then turn and tell all of the brothers he has the Token, Perfect Love. People are in a delusion of Satan. I know it’s a hard thing to say, but it’s the truth. Why is it? Why? If everybody that claimed to have the Token of God, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, the world will be shaken under the impact of the Church of Jesus Christ. You’d be casting out devils, healing the sick, raising the dead and creating arms and legs and everything else on the people. Why we can’t even do what science is doing.
Brother Branham said on the Seals, “We don’t have enough faith for divine healing, let alone rapture.”
WE CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH FAITH FOR DIVINE HEALING HARDLY

FOLLOWERS OF MESSAGE – WORLDLY ENTERTAINMENT
People following this message watching television, trimming their hair, going to basketball games, football games, prizefights, movies. One preacher said, “Brother Bob, I’ll keep your little boy while you go down there.” I said, “That would be fine, Brother; I appreciate that.” Said, “You don’t mind him going to movies, do you?” My face turned red. I didn’t… Oh Lord, don’t let me offend my brother.” I just turned around and walked off. Watching the paper every week. “Oh, that’s in the message.” You’d be surprised! Every week. Well, say, “Well, Brother Bob, what I do, see, the preachers and I, we go to the movie and look it over, and if it isn’t too bad, why, we let the congregation go. Call that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost? It’s a disgrace to God! It’s sin!
Since when does a saint of God have to be
entertained? Since when do those ungodly, television shows entertain the
Young men wearing bangs; hair getting longer all the time. I go down to the Tabernacle, the women’s dresses getting shorter. Every little style comes along, whether it’s mini this, or whatever it is, they snatch it. When I don’t know how many women I see with those big old midi coats hanging down, television sitting right up there in the front room. Then go so pious, “Yes, I believe the message.” You hypocrite, you. You crucify Christ. “Oh, all that Brother Branham loves [is] going in.” You aren’t going. If you loved him, you wouldn’t bring such a reproach as that upon the Bride, a prophet of God. Let’s get it like it is in the Book. You’re going to hell. You’re going to hell if you don’t repent. You hear me now. Unless these people repent following this prophet of God, God is able of these stones to raise children to that message. God’s able of these stones to raise children to her. Unless the people repent, there’s nothing left for them but the wrath of God.
I’ll give you another Scripture. The Bible says the wrath of God abideth on the children that are disobedient. How were they disobedient? Just like they were disobedient back there under Moses. Moses said, “Children, I worked these miracles. I worked these signs. I healed the sick. I cleansed the lepers. I raised the dead. I speak the Word and God creates it. And that’s only to show you that God wants to give you the Promised Land.” And then he tested and tried them. God tested them forty years. They failed Him and they failed Him, failed Him, just like Brother Branham’s Tabernacle—continually, continually failed him and they failed him and failed him. And then he saw them in the vision returning as hogs eating their own afterbirth.

A minister told me, confided in me of some of the people—leaders in this message—got televisions. Said, “Brother Bob, I hate to tell you, but it just bleeds my heart.” Yes, I know. Sit there, big old long hair hanging down, when the Bible says it’s a shame and a disgrace. Our boys are looking more like girls every day. And our girls are looking more like boys every day. Where there isn’t going to be any men with no muscles pretty soon, unless the Lord tarries they will… What is it? And I hate to say, it’s rude, but our boys, if it goes on the way it’s going, there’ll be nothing but (just) they don’t know whether they’re a girl or a boy. All that primping and fussing. My days of men, was rough and rugged and come up eating cornbread and beans and onions. Brawny tough guys. And now they walk around with a mirror in their pocket. I tell you, I’ll pop my boy upside his head. I don’t…you know what I mean. That’s what we need. In love with themselves. I never seen an hour when people love their self like they do now, realizing that a gnat go in your eye and get an infection and die and three days, from a gnat! And will primp and fuss and fume over this outside flesh and don’t do a thing about the inward man, the soul, and let it go on and starve to death and go to hell. You know I’m telling you the truth. Show me where they’re striving and struggling to get the Token. Show me one place where people sell houses and lands and lots to go some place where they’re striving to get the Token. Show me one revelation that’s evil spoken of.

Did they miss everything he preached? Did they miss “Future Home of the Earthly Bride”? Did not the prophet go out and cry with tears? His wife missed it. Billy Paul missed it. Everybody missed it, and he said, “There’d be nobody go in the rapture that didn’t get a revelation of that.
Now, I know personally, if you ain’t spiritual enough to get a revelation of that, how are you gonna hear the rest of the Voice? You know why that you can’t hear? You know why the people don’t know what’s going on? It’s because they love the pleasures of the world. Oh, they wouldn’t tell you that. Then why do they have to run to the ball games? Why do they have to run to this and run to that? Why do they have to watch television? Why do they have to strive to get a better this or a better that? Why do they have to be organized to every little style that comes along? And even the young men wearing Beatle clothes, big ol’ bell bottom trousers and big ol’ belts, and saints of God supposed to have the Holy Ghost, these big ol’ eye sunglasses and oh, hairstyles. I hate it! It makes me sick to my stomach! Tear the thing out, or repent or perish.
Oh, you say, “You offend me.” The Bible said, “They that love the Word, nothing’ll offend them.” Let me tell you something, Friend. If God’s gonna judge the denominations with the Bride, what kind of a judgment do you think the Bride’ll get? I tell you, what’s coming forth from the Lord, is a purging. Ain’t never seen such a purging as coming forth from the Lord. We gonna clean our lives up. You strive and struggle and cry and pray and agonize to get the Spirit of God or we’re going through the Tribulation. You believe? [Congregation says, “Amen.”]
What can we do but fear and tremble, strive and
struggle to receive Christ. You realize five years he’s been gone,
You know what’s the matter with people following this message? Why they hate this preaching so bad? You know why they don’t want a pastor to preach the truth? Everyone wants to go their own way. They don’t want no pastor telling them they gotta line up. That’s right. They don’t want nobody looking over them, watching over their souls. See? You know, they can put their tithes in a drawer, and then make a few little extra payments on the car—steal from God.

A man that wouldn’t pay his tithes and he’d steal from God, he’d steal from me! You say, “Well, that’s a small thing!” Yeah, but you got to do the small things. Well, say, “You just want it.” I don’t want a penny of it. Pharaoh keeps me. Pharaoh’s pension. He’s been sending, send a nice big check to me every month. You know, I was gonna… I got to where I didn’t want Pharaoh to support me; I wanted to support myself, you know. But you know I didn’t want Pharaoh to support me, and so I was gonna go give that money up. But you know there wasn’t nobody give me an offering, the way I preach! My wife and I just ate boloney and crackers and slept in a car. But you know, you go on, then the Lord, He’ll give you somebody to hear you.
The devil said, “You…Here you got that...You claim to preach divine healing and there you are getting that pension every month.” And oh, he just poured it on me.
I said, “Well, I’ll fix you, devil. I’ll just go give it up!” I got down, and got dressed and tied my shoe and I heard a Voice say, “How did you get that?” “Oh, was that You, Lord?” “How did you get that?”
Well, I just took my good shoes off and put my old ones on. Then he come again, pounding me again. So I said, “I’ll …” Prayed, I prayed, I prayed and I prayed. The Lord said, “You see the prophet.”
The prophet said, “Bob, God give you that pension to take care of you.”
And I said, “Thank you, Lord!” I said, “I know nobody’d never give me an offering or give me their tithes so He got Pharaoh to feed me!”
Boy, I want to tell you something. If we can’t even do the little things, if we can’t love the Lord enough that the Bible entertains us; and gathering together with the saints—contending for the Power of Pentecost—if that can’t entertain us, if the tapes can’t entertain us—our soul, and the preachers has got to see “A Hot Cat on a Tin Roof” by Elizabeth Taylor, I think they got something evil down on the inside. Oh, yes. You’d be surprised. You’d be surprised when the Lord pulls the cover off of people’s lives, and He will.
Brother Branham said, “Christ is wanting to dwell with His people and He’s going to.” I quote “Communion” tape 1965, and I served communion with Brother Branham.
GOD IS GOING TO DWELL AMONG HIS PEOPLE – HE WANTS TO

I preached the persecution, and nobody that follow the Message believed me, and they all called me a devil, but I just went right on. I got over a hundred people here believing the same thing. And I believe with all my heart this is the hour for the Bride to gather herself together and cry and pray and struggle and strive and take a hold of the Promise of God like Abraham and get an Outpouring of the Holy Ghost. If we see it, (midnight as it is) realizing we can’t get out of here without the Token, without the Power of God. What good is it, going to church, just going and going and going. Why? What are we coming here for? What are we eating for? What are we working for? What are we living for? If it isn’t “seek ye first the Token.” After that ye believe the prophet’s message ye were sealed of the Holy Spirit Promise.

One evening there while he was just, nothing to do, just waiting on the Promise to come, you know, there come up three men up. And you know, “whoosh”, something kinda moved around Abraham you know. You know he got that certain feeling. He jumped up and bowed down at the Man in the middle. He said, “My Lord,” said, “let me fetch some meat, and some butter, and some milk, and wash Your feet. Set Yourself down here underneath the tree. Said, “Alright, sir.”
He run in and got some meat and some butter, and come
back and fed the
“Alright,” He said, “Abraham,” said, “where’s Sarah?” He says, “In the tent.” You heard this many times. And said, “Abraham, you separated from all unbelief. You come out of that mixed multitude. You’ve held to My Promise all this time. You’re ninety-nine years old, you’re almost a hundred. Everybody’s made fun of you over the Token. You left Daddy; you left your house; you left your lands; you left everything. Now, Abraham, I’m gonna give you the Token.” Oh, yes.
You say, “Oh, Brother Bob, I wish I could believe that.” You’d better believe it. You’d better believe it or perish. Now remember, you’ll believe it or perish.
I’m gonna say this, as humbly as I know how to say it. Every person, every person that’s following this message, all of them, the majority of them, all of them will believe this revelation before it’s over. Every one. Every one will be crying for the Token before it’s over. But for many, it’ll be too late. It’ll be too late. They’ll have to seal their blood through the Tribulation.
“Abraham, you’re gonna have a baby. You’re gonna have it.” And you know what, Sarah—now here’s some hope for you—Sarah laughed in her heart. Sarah laughed in her heart. Why did she laugh in her heart is because she never had a revelation on the Promised Seed. She laughed in her heart because she only had an intellectual faith in the Promise that Abraham told her about. Hear me now, is that the Bible? She only had an intellectual faith.
And Brother Branham said in

See?
And it won't work; no selfish thing will work. Your motives and objectives has to be exactly, perfectly right, then you have faith there. "If our hearts condemn us not, then we have confidence." See, see? We've got to have confidence. "I want this to the honor and glory of God." Then faith has a channel to move into; if it doesn't, then you've got mental, intellectual faith, and not genuine faith from God. I Have Heard But Now I See 65-1127e.
And that’s why people laugh in their heart when they hear about Brother Bob up here trying to get the Token to the people. Unbelief. Unbelief down in their heart. Sarah laughed in her heart. God said to Abraham, said, “Why’d Sarah laugh?” Sarah said, “I didn’t laugh.” Watch her, she got scared then. There’s gonna come a time she’s gonna be scared. She said, “Oh, I didn’t laugh.” But the Revealed Word, said, “Nay, but thou didst laugh.” Now God would’a struck her dead because of her unbelief in the Promise. And God’d strike the elected Bride dead, that doubted His Promise in this hour—the Token, but because of Christ, He spared her. Alright.
Now where was she at? Where was Sarah at when she doubted the Token? Where was she at? In the tent. In the tent. Brother Branham left and instead of everybody fasting and praying, said, “I missed it, I ain’t got no revelation, I’m confused.”
One great minister following the message, one man said, “I’ll tell you if this Bride gets straightened out, if this revelation getting straightened out, Brother So-and-So will do it.” I said in my heart, “God’ll take an ignoramus; He’ll take a donkey (that’s right!) to straighten it out. Yes, He will. “Oh, So-and-So’ll straighten it out.” One Brother, a minister, a great man in this message said, “I bought this, I bought that, and I was gonna do this, do that.” Said, “Well now, if he’s alive, he’s gotta raise up again. If he don’t raise up, then we’d better pray for Elijah to come.” Boy, he was just furious. And I looked him dead in the eye. I said, “My dear Brother, everything’s moving just on time. If he hadn’t left, the message would have been wrong.” And I said, “Now, the Bride of Jesus Christ shall come forth.” And he kinda quieted down, said, “A-hem, that, that could be.” It will be. It will be.
But where was Sarah? In the tent, doubting the Promise. Was she not? She is in the tent, doubting the Promise, but you know what? Because of the faith of somebody by the name of Abraham, because of his faith, his steadfastness on the revelation of God for his hour, Sarah finally come out of her unbelief. Hear it now! And Apostle Paul said in Hebrews, “And Sarah, by faith, by revelation, Sarah conceived seed!” Right. And she got the Token.
SOMEBODY NEEDED THIS MESSAGE
Let’s bow our heads. And I felt led of the Holy Ghost. I knew that there’s something. Now I felt led of the Lord to say what I said. Now hear me. Somebody here, somebody here needed what I said. They needed that. And the devil tried to keep that away from you. I’m telling you as God’s servant. As a little old minister, I’m telling you that’s the truth. I was sick. I’ve been taking penicillin, trying to overcome this thing. Sick, my throat—up all night. Like a boil down inside and have to be the grace of God let me minister this morning. Somebody needed that. I don’t know who it is, but I assure you in the Name of the Lord, somebody here heard from God this morning. Don’t you let nobody take that away from you. Don’t you let nobody, if you have to leave mother, father, sister, brother, houses, lands, lots, don’t you let nobody take that away from you.
Now with every head bowed and every eye closed. Whoever here that knows that that was the Lord speaking to them? I want you, with every head bowed and every eye closed, and everybody praying, everybody praying, nobody looking around, I want that somebody to stand, say, “That’s me, Brother Bob.” Stand up to your feet and let me pray for you. Thank you, thank you. Is there another one, say, “That was for me, Brother Bob. I take my stand like Abraham and Sarah. I take my stand like the day of old. I want the Promised One. I want the Token with all my heart. I want to be on fire for the Lord. I want to have Jesus in my heart. I want to be able to prove that He’s not dead, He’s alive.” Is there another? Is another, stand, say, “That’s for me, Brother Bob?”
Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, oh Lord, I felt led to say what I said this morning, with no premeditation, not knowing who was here, Lord. And not speaking for any individual, but just saying what come to me by the Holy Spirit. And I know that it’s true. Lord, I thank you for the revelation of God in this hour. Knowing, Lord, that we have only one way of escape, only one way of escape, and that is the Rest. Come unto me, all ye that labor in prayer; come unto me all ye that labor in the Word and in prayer. Come unto me all ye that are striving and struggling for Life, and I’ll give you Life. Lord, we thank you for Your great Promise. Reach down by Thy loving hand. Place these words deep into the heart of those, Lord, that heard. And oh God, may they receive the great filling of the Holy Ghost that’s ready to fall. Lord, we could not even believe unless Thou give us grace by the Holy Spirit to believe. Now You take Your believers, Lord, and You’ll fulfill the Word that You promised for the hour in them. And there’ll be a short, quick and powerful demonstration of the Holy Ghost, and this little hunted, persecuted Bride will go to be with the Lord Jesus.
Now Lord, help us to bear the reproach for the Promise of the hour. It’s a reproach Lord. Everybody says they’re filled. Everybody says they’re rich in the Spirit. But the Bible said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Token.” Blessed is the little Bride that hungers and thirsts after the Token; she’ll get it. Lord, we thank You for Your love that whispers to our heart. Bless this people here that’s standing, Lord. Give them grace and strength to be an overcomer, that You may come into them: God tabernacled, (not in one man, not in one man, Lord) God tabernacled in the flesh of His body, the Bride. We pray and ask these things in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Let me tell you something, how blessed you are if you can sing that with your mouth and be singing it from your heart too. Now I want to tell you something. What a wretched thing it is to sing that from your mind, and then your heart saying, “You don’t mean it, you don’t mean it, you don’t mean it.” Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. So what a peace it is to know that you can sing it with joy in heart, “Yes, Lord, I surrender all.” And you know it’s so—that there’s nothing between you and the Savior, but just abiding in the Word, abiding in the Word, abiding in the Word, abiding in the Word. And Jesus said, “If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, there’ll come a time that you can ask for anything and get it.”
He that gets that Token—one hundred percent answers to prayer. Not one prayer you’ll pray that’ll fail to be answered. Drink any deadly thing—it won’t harm you. You’ll lay hands upon the sick—they’ll recover. You can raise the dead, open the blinded eyes. Is that what the Bible said? Drink any deadly thing—won’t harm you. Why? Is because you have a supernatural, supernatural Life down on the inside. And then, anytime that you pray, you know that you’re gonna receive what you ask for.
Children, why can’t people see that? Why do they go ahead letting the devil deceive them like they are, knowing that they, they’re not… they don’t have fullness of joy. Can we say, “We got fullness of joy, our cup runneth over?” [Congregation says, “No!”] Can we say that out of our bellies flows rivers of living water? [Congregation says, “No!”] Causing the lame to walk and the blind to see? But then turn around and say, “Bless God, there ain’t nobody gonna tell me that I don’t have the Token!” If I could get to preach to you, I’d humbly like to tell you that you don’t have It. Humbly like to tell you that you’d better strive and struggle to press your way into It, or you’re tribulation bound. How many, you believe that to be so? [Congregation says, “Amen!”]
Not when I believe, but since you believed. Since you believed the prophet’s message, one day there’ll be a little brother going to all the world, anywhere. Pass by a little group that’s been struggling, hungering for, thirsting for God. He’ll come by and say, “Have you received the Token since you believed Brother Branham’s message?” They said, “My, we haven’t even heard whether there be any Holy Ghost or not. We were told, ‘Just wait on the Rapture.’” And you know what he’ll do? He’ll lay his hands upon them, and they’ll receive the Token, just like they did on the day of Pentecost.
You know anybody that’s big enough to fight it?
Do you know anybody big enough to fight this? You know anybody can go out
and say, “Sun, don’t shine!” No, it’s the rising of the sun. And
when the sun rises, all these cults and all these ‘isms following this message,
gonna fall away. And do you know what? The foolish is gonna come to
the little wise virgin that went out and got the Token. The foolish is
gonna come and say, “We’re sorry, we’re wrong. Tell us how we can get the
Token.” And then Brother Branham said, “It’s gonna be too late.” He
said, “One of these days, God is gonna make the world bow at the feet of men
and women that’s plunged across the
How many want to be that people? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] What greater thing could you do than have a revival? What kind of an uncircumcised Philistine would resent a man preaching revival and the Power of God? Some kind of darkness surrounding him. Some kind of darkness. But you know, there is a Man here can turn on the light. Brother Branham said, “Don’t fear, don’t fear. He’s here; there is a Man here can turn on the light, and that’s the Holy Ghost.” And he said, “Just, just, be steady, be patient.” And he said, “When you come into a place; you hear all them things are running across the floor and around the walls, quickly turn on the light.” And he said, “And all them roaches, palmetto bugs, (all them things is in the dark moldy basement) begins to flutter away.”
What is that? I’m gonna tell you what it is. Anything that isn’t contending for the Power of Pentecost is a roach—something that’s walking around creaking and crackling in the dark. But when you turn on the revelation, all the little roaches scatter from the Light. Amen. That’s right. All those little interpretations, private interpretations scatter from the Light. How many want to walk in the Light? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] [Ed. RL asks them to stand and sing]
Walk in the Light, evening Light. What is the evening Light? Life, Life, true Life.
Amen. Is He the Light of the world? Let’s bow our heads. You know, Jesus said, “If any man say that he abideth in Him, ought even also to walk even as He walked. And in Him is no darkness at all. And if we say that we walk in Him, and we abide in ‘no revelation’ from the message, then we lie.”
Children, I tell you sincerely, the only way that you’ll ever get a revelation is to be in love with the Lord Jesus with all your heart. He’ll never reveal it. You can study, you can memorize Scripture, you can memorize quotes from tapes, and it’ll only be like Sarah—up in your head. Until you, like Sarah, get it out of your head and down it in your heart, not never do you any good. But one day He’ll come and seal the believers with the Holy Spirit of Promise and there’ll rise up the great Bride of Christ.
I just pray that God’s great Holy Spirit, if He don’t pour out by the time we’re out the door, we’ll be looking for It Thursday night. If It don’t come Thursday night, we’re looking for It Sunday morning; but I assure you, one time He’ll come. You know why? Because He promised It! How many with a… and all the hearty say, “Amen!” [Congregation says, “Amen!”]
