HAS THE MESSAGE OF W.M.B. REPLACED THE BIBLE?
Questions Nos. 510 to 515

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Question # 510: "Is it true to say that Brother Branham preached what Paul preached and many things which Paul did not preach?"

E.O.D.H. Answer: Yes, Brother Branham preached what Paul preached and he also preached many things that Paul did not preach. Brother Paul was the first church age messenger and what he preached became a foundation for us to build upon. In his day Brother Paul could not preach the Exposition of the Seven Seals. This was not given for his day. This was given to the End time Messenger, William Branham, the greatest of the Church Ages messengers. There are many other things relevant to our age that Brother Paul knew nothing about. These things, Brother Branham preached by inspiration.
A popular heresy states that there are 12 foundations. That's a lie! There is only one foundation; one rock. We are built upon the foundation, of the apostles and prophets. (Matthew 16:16-18)

Question # 511: "Are 'The Spoken Word' Books of Brother Branham same with the Scriptures?"

E.O.D.H. Answer: No! They are not the same. The revelation of the Message dovetails with the Scriptures, but it is incorrect to say that 'The Spoken Word' is the Bible; but Brother Branham's Message was based on the Scriptures.

Quote W.M.B.: "And then from that messenger there spreads the light through the ministry of others who have been faithfully taught. But of course all those who go out don't always learn how necessary it is to speak ONLY what the messenger has spoken. (Remember, Paul warned the people to say only what he said, I Corinthians 14:37, "If any man think himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD. What? came the Word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?") They add here, or take away there, and soon the message is no longer pure, and the revival dies down. How careful we must be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has but one voice which is the voice of God. Paul warned them to say what he said, even as Peter did likewise. He warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change one word of what he had given by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear the voice of God by way of His messengers, and then say what has been given them to say to the churches" (Church Age Book Chapter 4 - The Smyrnaean Church Age P:140).

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3 :16 & 17).

Question # 512: "Should a pastor or any of the five fold ministers supposed to compile his sermon from the Spoken Word Books rather than the Bible?"

E.O.D.H. Answer: No, the Word is the absolute; even the Message of Brother Branham is based on the written Word. All true believers and ministers must make the Word the absolute. However, they must not contradict the revelation of the Bible given to any God-sent prophet or messenger or they are anti-Christ.

Quote W.M.B.: "But there's certain things that--that to the church and to the time and things that He hasn't got written here in the Bible, so He puts His voice into a person, and they speak it forth" (True Sign That's Overlooked 61-1112 P:14).

Quote: "Now, I am a great believer in what the Word of God said. Now, I know God can do things that's not written in the Word. But if--if He'll just do what He has promised in the Word, that'll be sufficient for me." (Jesus Christ The Same 63-0627 P:17).

Quote: "Now in each age, I say, the messengers received hidden truth. But they did not receive it for themselves only. But it is as it was when the disciples were asked to serve the multitudes loaves and fishes; Jesus gave them the broken food, but they in turn gave it to the people." (Church Age Book Chapter 5 - The Pergamean Church Age P:162).

The Bible is the Word of God. It is the Scriptures. We are guided and led by It. Our Christian faith is based on It. All the messages that Brother Branham preached were wholly and solely based on the Holy Scriptures. They were divinely inspired. The messages that he preached were printed in books called the Spoken Word Books. These messages are scriptural.
There are many things in the Scriptures that are hard to understand. Brother Branham in preaching explained many Scriptures that were not understood before. He was God's mouthpiece. He was God's Messenger of the Age and any person who wants to be right will stay with his revelation.
There are certain things not written in the Bible that are needful for the time we are living in. These things can only come from God through inspiration. Brother Branham was inspired. The Spoken Word messages contain many things that are not recorded in the Bible. A person can use both.

Question # 513: "Is it wrong for a minister to preach without a quote from WMB Spoken Word Books?"

E.O.D.H. Answer: My brother, let us just set our minds back to one hundred years ago. At that time no one knew about Brother Branham and the Message he will bring from the Lord, but people had the Bible and they preached from the Bible. Brother Branham appeared in our time and he also preached from the same Bible. If the Lord tarries for another hundred years or two to come, people will still continue to preach from the Bible.
It so happened that Brother Branham preached in our time and as we know that he was God's mouthpiece, we take the Word that he preached as our absolute. Many preachers when preaching quote Brother Branham to verify and to prove that what they are saying is in accordance with what the Messenger of the age said. Some preachers don't make quotations while others take the facts of a message without making any quotations to preach a message. All ministers today should line up with the Message of the hour. We quote Jesus, we quote Paul and Peter, likewise we quote Malachi 4:5&6, but it is left to a person's prerogative whenever he wants to make a quotation or not.

Question #514 : "The Prophet said, "I will ride this trail again." Is this prophecy fulfilled?"

E.O.D.H. Answer: No! If we consider what the trail is that the Prophet rode, it will give us understanding upon the statement, "I will ride this trail again." The Prophet went around the world, anointed by the spirit of Elijah, in power signs and wonders, on the Word of God. That revival which started in 1946 closed off in 1962, (Spoken Word Is The Original Seed 1962). Since then there was no ministry that went around the world in that fashion, neither Brother Branham nor the church, but it is yet to come. Jesus rode the trail once in power, but he rode it a second time in and through the Church who received an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. The human vessels would not go around the world again, but the Spirit of Christ which resided in the vessel. This was revealed to Brother Branham at the end of that revival.

Quote W.M.B.: 69 Jesus said, "And as the Father sent Me, so do I send you." He don't only send you, but He goes with you. "I'll be with you, even in you, unto the end of the world." All that was in God was poured out in Christ; and all that was in Christ was emptied out into the believer, the Church. (Proof Of His Resurrection 55-0410m).

Quote: 171-1 In these last days the true Bride Church (Christ's seed) will come to the Headstone, and she will be the super church, a super race, as she nears Him. They in the bride will be so much like Him that they will even be in His very image. This is in order to be united with Him. They will be one. They will be the very manifestation of the Word of the living God… Those in the bride do only His will. No one can make them do otherwise. They have 'thus saith the Lord' or they keep still. They know that it has to be God in them doing the works, fulfilling His own Word. He did not complete all His work while in His earthly ministry so now He works in and through the bride. She knows that, for it was not yet time for Him to do certain things that He must now do. But He will now fulfill through the bride that work which He left for this specific time. (Church Ages Book).

Question # 515 : "Was the Tent Ministry fulfilled by WMB?"

E.O.D.H. Answer: My brother, this has been a question of controversy by many. Some believe it was fulfilled, others say it was not fulfilled, while others have different meanings of it.
Now, according to Brother Branham's vision of the Tent and what is to take place, there is no evidence that any such things happened. What Brother Branham anticipated was that the Tent vision will be fulfilled by him, but it was not.

Quote: "And it's a great thing, I'm sure, our Lord Jesus is fixing to do. And I just can't hardly wait to get in that tent, and it's going to be something wonderful." (Jehovah Jireh 56-0224 P:3).

Quote: "One of these days I want to pitch that tent the Lord's going to give me," (Shepherd of the sheepfold 56-0403 P:15).

Quote: "And then when I come back in the tent, year from today or some time, you come to the tent and give the testimony of what happened to you. God bless you; now go on your road and rejoice, and praise the Lord." (Blind Bartimaeus 56-0414 P:67).

Quote: "I'd like to get a place sometime, the Lord willing, when a tent comes on the scene. And I believe that's soon now, soon I'm going worldwide." (Testimony 63-1128M P:12).

Quote: "This is the closest meeting I've been to Indiana for quite awhile. Thinking about coming back pretty soon, and putting up a tent, and having those seven last trumpets, the Lord willing." (Spiritual amnesia 64-0411 P:4).

Quote: "Now, in doing this, I have come here for the purpose of teaching the last vials, last seven vials, and the last seven trumpets, and the last seven thunders of the Book of Revelations, tying them together in this hour that we're now living to follow the opening of the Seven Seals, the Seven Church Ages. So we couldn't get room to do it, so I-I hope that soon as I can, we'll can get a place sufficient for that either here, or in Louisville, New Albany, or either put up a tent, so we can just stay as long as the Lord leads us to do." (God of this evil age 65-0801M P:9)

.

By 1965 Brother Branham was still looking out to put up a Tent. He died in 1965 without the Tent meeting. So therefore; the Tent vision was not fulfilled by Brother Branham. Some use these kinds of prophecy to show that the Message is not accurate, or Brother Branham's Message was full of mistakes, even because they are after the flesh and not the spirit. They cannot separate the man from the ministry. The ministry is the ministry of Christ, and the ministry of the bride and bridegroom is one (John 17). There will be a fulfilment of the Tent Vision and all other prophecies of the Prophet.
